The meter was on. I merged onto the freeway, checking very carefully to ensure no cars were near me. I signaled before changing lanes -- I always drive cautiously because I had my two young children in the car. This driver was not close when I began my move, but he deliberately accelerated toward us, nearly causing a collision, and then intentionally stayed dangerously close to our car! For a long time! My children were terrified. I changed lanes to get away, and as we passed, the driver -- a man wearing sunglasses and a hat -- gave us a threatening glare. It was terrifying, kids cried! -- He could have killed us. Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous behavior.

He saw that I had my hands full with a crying baby and toddler, he kindly assisted me in unloading and was courteous enough to take the bins up front. They do require you to put your drivers license number, license plate, a signature & your fingerprint in order to get paid out as it is part of the State of California Scrap Law.

The 'building' is a converted shipping container. They provide garbage bins for you to segregate your items into. I always go prepared with my plastic and aluminum already separated. The few workers there are good. They are well organized and keep things flowing. They have clearly posted what everything is worth at the time and what types of recyclables they do and don't accept. There can be a lot of homeless around which isn't surprising, but it's right next to a park and skate park where a lot kinda congregate. I always show up ready to transfer my already seprated recyclables and I'm in and out pretty quick. This is the most convenient for me since I live around the corner.

First off their prices arent that great for their metals.2nd they quote you one price on the phone and give another once you get there. But the worst part is the lady running the scale is straight ripping people off. I spoke with nicole on the phone and she said that if it has a label on the aluminum or stainless it doesnt make it dirty. Dirty is if it has traces of other metals attached still. or very dirty like grease and such. Well the lady at the scale went through my bin of clean aluminum and then dumped it in with my dirty aluminum bin because she seen a few pieces of aluminum with labels. Then dump my electric motots in with my transormers and said they werent electric motors. Just because they were smaller. totally changed all my piles basically robbing me of quite abit. oh and one of their scales was definately not working correctly. she tried to fix it and it still wasnt accurate and she new it, but kept using it. Ill never go back to this place again.

Hispanic dude turns to me and says do you have a mask so I told him you don't have a mask on she doesn't or the homeless man doesn't but I have mine. The service was just off I didn't feel comfortable he was using profanity I heard that Hispanic girl tell him the homeless dude don't like you and he said I don't like him either it was just they weren't professional. If you having a bad day you should stay home don't put off that negative energy towards your customers.

There was an Hispanic dude that worked there he was rude he could have said excuse me ma'am some people were ahead of you could you move over here but instead he said move over there it's too early in the morning and it was hot learn how to talk to people. I will be back as close to home but I will never go as soon as they open it was a lot of homeless people and they need to have better customer service.
