Disappointed with this place. Honestly wasn't worth the price for the service. The pictures were not good quality at all. I was expecting to see clear pictures and that was not the case. The equipment seemed to be outdated, the person taking the sonogram was like whatever just clicking away. We weren't asked what pictures we liked they just printed it and gave them to you. This place looks nice and legit. I paid for two visits one to get the gender and the second for 30 weeks to get a better image of the baby. The first appointment they could not find the gender and wanted me to pay for another visit to do the gender again. I said forget it I'll find out at the doctor and come back for the 30 week image. When I scheduled for the 30 week we were called the day before to come at 1 pm instead of 10 am which was fine. The tech almost seemed like she didn't want to be there and the images for the visit were terrible. Friendly Staff, Great Pictures, love this place! My husband and I went last weekend for the 3D/4D sonogram. I am currently 24 weeks and the pictures were really amazing Our baby boy wanted to just keep sleeping and when I first got there his back was facing forward, but she had so much patience and was able to help me get him to move a little bit so we could see his face. The studio was a comfortable temperature and smelled very pleasant. After my doctor informed me they don't do 3d 4d ultrasounds, I decided to research places so I could have it done. This place had good reviews, close to home and the best prices around...win win win. I came in at 32 weeks which I think now was too late to do it. My baby is already in position and might just stay there till the big day. I was only able to get her profile which was fine but was hoping to get her entire face. Other than that, I was glad she was doing great in there and her heartbeat was good. The location is busy but I found parking out front with no problem (meter parking). The place is clean and smells great. The staff is friendly and welcoming which is nice. The room which they do the ultrasound is big with a good size couch for up to 5 people to come and join you when you have this done. The tech was very nice and was helping me try to see if the baby would move to get a good angle. They allowed me to go outside and get something to drink with the hopes she moves and tried again. From my experience here are some tips: Try to come before 32 weeks. The baby might be in position and you probably won't see the entire face. Also it's tight in there by this time and the placenta might be in the way like my experience. Drink a lot of water before hand for clearer imaging. Some say days before. Start to drink water about a half hour before your appointment. You need your bladder full but you don't want it overly full because it will be so uncomfortable and hard to hold during the ultrasound. Carry something sweet like soda or candy in the event the baby is not cooperating and needs a pick me up. read more

Great place to come to if your super anxious about finding out the sex of your baby. I made an appt for the gender reveal at 16 weeks and I was told it was a boy! My own doctor confirmed it was indeed a boy on my scheduled 20 week anatomy scan. They even give you a little surprise at the end of your ultrasound :) The 1st Glimpse office is super chic and modern. They have rooms big enough in case you want to bring family members who want to be a part of the experience and a huge flat screen TV so no one is squinting. I am hoping to go back in once I'm further along for a really good 3D experience! read more

Great place! Parking on Sunday wasn't an issue. The guy at the front desk was very nice and so was the sonographer. My husband and I had a great experience. They have several packages with a wide range of prices ($35 - $300) with 'add ons' if desired. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We got the $120 package: A 15 minute DVD of the 4D Ultrasound, a CD with 37 digital photos, 6 print out photos, and a stuffed elephant (or teddy bear, or Monkey -- your choice) with the baby's heartbeat inside! The session was about 30 minutes. Would love to do it again and would recommend without hesitation. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for this experience!!! read more

I had such a wonderful experience at 1st Glimpse! Everyone was so friendly especially the ultrasound tech. She explains everything really well and takes her time. We decided to keep the gender a surprise and she made sure that she didn't spoil anything for us which was great. I felt like the office and the ultrasound room were very clean which is important for me during the pandemic. They have social distancing stickers on the floor and they are only allowing a few people to join you in the ultrasound room. I plan on coming back for a 3D ultrasound in the future! Cons: My pictures were just unclear. The pictures on my cd all look blurry and I cannot see my daughters face, some pictures I could make out the nose and eye but not many. Also I had to purchase a photo album to hold the photos that were provided with my package. The exam room was very small and crammed. Pros: There was no one else waiting for an appointment and I was seen at my appointment time. This is my second experience at a 4d sonogram, my first pregnancy my husband brought me to a facility in Queens. I did have issues with blurry pictures there as well. I believe that many of these facilities do not have properly trained techs, I read online that in order to operate these machines you do not need a license. I have seen better images at the doctor's office. My suggestion is find a place with experience and licensed, or don't bother. It will be a waste of your money. Do your research. read more

One of the reviews for this place tried to imply that the employees wrote the reviews. I don't know how true that is. Sucks some of you had such a "terrible" experience. My wife and I absolutely had the best experience when we went on Saturday. The guy at the front desk was very welcoming. The waiting area is a comfortable one. Our tech was Shai. I hope that's how you spell it. Pronounced shy. She made us feel even more comfortable than we already were. She was chatting with us, explaining things very clearly etc etc. Not once did we feel uncomfortable. I have my off days at work as well. We all have, and will continue to. Maybe that's what the situation was for some of you. But, remember....sometimes we as the customers can be difficult to deal with as well. I give this place a full 5 stars. I had such a wonderful experience with the 4D sono of my twins. I was a little nervous about whether or not we would get good pictures becuase I was already 28 weeks and with twins, that's pretty late making it difficult to see clear shots of the babies. The tech was super sweet and friendly. Very welcoming to my husband and I as well as my mother and mother in law. The room was big enough for everyone and the viewing screen made it easy for us all to see what was happening. The process is longer and more tricky with twins but the tech didn't rush us and took her time to get us the best photos. I would recommend and go back in the future. read more

Couple of days after my original review posted I got a text from first glimpse asking if I would recommend them and when I said no they asked why and I explained my unfortunate scenario, they asked me to call and discuss but what's there left to say? You shattered my hope and gave me false information? December 29th I get a phone call from Aunt Suzanne's (the crappy projector lady) obnoxious nephew asking me about what happened. This dude proceeds to insinuate that I'm lying, that they spoke to the poor tech who denied ever telling me she was wrong and that if in fact I really am having a girl (yes because I really have the time to lie about my unborn spawns gender) that they will let me come in for another ultrasound for free to confirm. What exactly will you be confirming? That you were in fact wrong? After getting snippy with me, little dude goes we will only offer you a refund if you delete your review. And that I should really accept this ultimatum because I wasn't provided with the service I wanted. Well, while he is right...isn't the moral thing to offer me a refund regardless of the review I left? Aren't I entitled to the hard earned money I spent at your wannabe ultrasound lab since you agreed the service wasn't provided as promised? I am one to read reviews on EVERYTHING before I buy or before i try somewhere new. Honestly, I think this place wrote these reviews themselves. Was not a good experience at all for me and my husband. We were very excited about our 3D/4D ultrasound scan but this place just ruined the experience for us. As soon as we walked in the ultrasound room, the technician was pretty rude. Not even a "Hi" " How are you"...just a "Lay down". She seemed like she had better things to do and she was not friendly at all. She made rude comments and did not say much unless she complained about the positioning of the baby. I get that's not her fault but at least be a little more friendly! Also, the TV to view the ultrasound was not clear at all. It was blurry and there were colored vertical lines on the tv...definitely need to upgrade their equipment. The colored pictures printed nicely but the black and white ones look as if they were almost out of ink. Overall, not a welcoming environment; If you're looking for an enjoyable experience, which I'm sure anyone who's doing a 3D sonogram expects, then please don't go here. Look elsewhere. The only think I'm happy with is the teddy bear with the baby's heartbeat, but even that sounds distorted and loud. Wish I had a better experience here! read more

I'm usually not one for writing reviews but my motivation for this review stems from the god awful experience my wife had while performing the procedure at this office this past Saturday morning. This was a very happy day for us as we were looking forward to seeing our child for the first time and to our surprise when we walked into the office there was a woman dressed as a technician or a nurse sitting in a chair playing with a handheld video game completely ignoring us while gentleman behind the counter was quick to ask for his hundred dollars. While following the technician into the room she continued to play with her game ask my wife to sit down rudely and then continue to play her game telling us that she did not know how to pause it and that we will begin in a few minutes. Granted most of these visits depends on the babies cooperation is well but we kinda felt that this woman did absolutely nothing to help out. I would never recommend this place to anyone save your money. The outcome was a DVD that was incomplete music was not working and a very bad taste in our mouths. read more

First time mommy & 1st time customer. I Read all the reviews on how great this place is & they were right! The tech. is very sweet, patient & friendly. My baby was not cooperating at all even After I ate candy, drank soda & walked around. She scheduled me to come the following week where again my baby wasn't cooperating but she tried her best & took her time to get some good pictures which I'm really happy with. The room you go in is dark with a long couch & a big flat screen TV where you & your family can see your baby & she plays this soothing music during the session. The waiting area is set up so nicely and comfortable & it's clean. I love that they call you to remind you about your scheduled appointment. I will be coming back in the future for Baby #2 lol read more

Very bad place I came in at 14 weeks 2wice paid a decent amount of money to see the gender of my baby and they couldn't tell. the first women I had was pretty decent on my first visit she works on weekdays only supposedly. She couldn't tell the gender so i insisted to come back because its not fair that i paid for something that i didn't get. The second women I had which was a skinny African American girl who works on weekends was very rude and disgusting. I will definitely request a refund! I basically wasted $55 dollars for no reason. I got some unclear pictures that my gyno could print out for me ( better ones ). On top of that they didn't give me the option to come back again. This place is very unprofessional. Atleast if you offer the service, make sure the client actually gets what they paid for! Also GET PROFESSIONAL people WHO actually KNOW how to handle sonogram equipment instead of just complaining about the baby not being in the right position. Stop guessing the gender that is not right to lie to people if you cant prove them what you actually see, which is what they did. I love everything about this place! As soon as I walked in everybody was very friendly with me. As impatient as I can be it was nice in the waiting area seeing other couples who are also all excited. The stuffed animals for the babies heartbeat are totally adorable, I bought one myself. When I went into the room where the technician was I got nervous. I had no idea what to expect considering this is my first pregnancy. Mioche was her name, I thought she was really great. She knew exactly what to say even made a couple jokes about the baby to make me giggle. Once I seen my son, I almost cried. He looked so cute!! Im very happy with the dvd and images I got of him. I thought his heartbeat sounded like a techno beat. My family and I thought this was a wonderful experience and I'm definitely going to be coming back for another ultrasound once i get a little bigger. I can't wait to give birth and finally meet my little boy. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, and im very thankful for everybody in this office for making this experience unbelievable for me. read more
