I regret not reading the reviews before making an appointment here. While the front desk staff was friendly, the rest of the experience was extremely uncomfortable. The mammogram tech had zero bedside manner--abrupt, unkind, and unprofessional. I was asked to change in a makeshift office with a small curtain and was given a tiny top, then had to carry all my belongings with me while trying to stay covered. Afterward, I was led through the hallway (still in that tiny top) and placed in what looked like a break room, with staff walking by as I sat there trying to stay covered--completely lacking in privacy and care. The ultrasound tech was nicer but still not very warm or reassuring. For such a personal and often stressful procedure, this place made me feel uncomfortable, exposed, and rushed. It's so sad that this business CHARGES 15$ for the patient's own CD?!...The CD that your Dr.needs to view instead of the written report. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous, horrific way to run a business that is supposed to help people. Lesson learned and will never go back. read more

Appointment was easily made and wait time was short. I have been going here for 38 years, had radiation treatments initially. I am a long time survivor so my original radiologist is no longer there. I go for my diagnostic tests now and I am satisfied. read more

i've been going to them for years and they seem ok, therefor 3 stars . the office , though, has beecome insanely disorganized. I received a bill I didn't understand. When i called billing I got a recording and left a message. no return call. left another message. no return call. got the bill again. left message with billing. (apparently they never answer it live even during regular business hours. )no return call. it's not a huge bill so I'll pay it rather than have it sent to a collection agency. Also last year, i received a refund from insurance I wasn't supposed to get, so I called the billing office about it twice. again no response. so i got some money i wasn't supposed to get and i'm paying some money I'm not supposed to pay, so, I guess we're even, but it's kind of hard to trust this place. read more

I would not refer anyone that I know to this facility. To start off, the knowledge and efficiency of the front desk staff is lacking in patient care and proper professionalism. People at the front desk may very well be receptionist but they play an important role in the face of healthcare. They are the first reflection when patients walk into the door. The treatment from them sets the whole experience for the patient in actuality. I was referred here for an emergency sonogram from a nearby urgent care center. I received an appointment on the spot but when I got there I still had to wait. No problem, I received my paperwork from the young woman at the front desk, and then went to sit down and fill out the paperwork. I gave it back to her and sat in the waiting room to be called. When I was finally called to the back I was seated in another waiting room where there was another young woman waiting as well. The imaging personnel came out and started to discuss the reason why the other young woman was waiting. I for one feel that she should have been called into a private room and her care would be discussed there, not in front of a stranger. I am all for patient confidentiality and HIPAA violations. That was completely unprofessional. Now that I am waiting for my test to begin the receptionist from the front desk comes to me and tells me in front of the waiting room that I have a copayment due and how much. One, that should have been collected at the front desk before I sat down to get seen. Two, it's another violation of patient confidentiality, who says I want how much my copayment is announced there. Now I am in pain which is why I am there. No consideration from the staff of having to walk up and down this maze on their mistake. I went to the front and the credit card machine was down, now I came up here for no reason. They said okay we will try again when you're leaving, if that was the case then why couldn't they wait until the end anyway. Then I went in to do my imaging, imaging personnel was knowledgeable and nice, I gave her that but the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bed on which I lied was not stable it seems as though it was attached to the wall and could have tipped over any minute. I was not comfortable at all during the procedure. Thank goodness it was quick she said that the results would be sent to the doctor. She never stated the wait time or when it will be ready but due to the circumstances and needing an ASAP appointment I thought it would be ready right away I was terribly wrong. I called back in a couple of hours and the receptionist didn't take my name date of birth or anything of the sort she just put me on hold. She came back about five minutes later to tell me that if I did the test today it would not be ready until Monday or Tuesday. Now how does that help in this emergency situation? How can you have office hours if there is no radiologist to read the report? How is that optimal and quality patient care if it does not serve the patient? How do you know patients are able to wait that long? There is no consideration here for the patient. I will never go back to this facility again and anyone that I do know I would let them know the same . They should re-evaluate the purpose of being a private practice in the community and re-educate their staff to accommodate patients that visit this private care practice. read more

Scheduling is easy, but the wait time in office is about an hour. The facility is dirty. The last time I was there there were stained ceiling tiles and the bathroom sink was hanging off the wall. They billed me for a preventative cancer screening visit in June. When I got my EOB from insurance, it said my co-pay was $0! I have been calling them and they keep giving me the run-around. I have been going there a long time and this place seems to be going downhill fast!!! read more

Go elsewhere- I read all the bad reviews and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Wish I never did. They lost 3 customers while I was in there for an hour today. I actually feel bad for the employees as I do think they're trying their best. They are clearly getting bad advice from their managers ( you could see their eyes averting whenever she walked in the room). Clearly some insurance scams going on where they want people coming back multiple times for what can easily be done is one visit so they can keep billing/collecting co-pays. Great, comfortable and clean radiology office. Technicians and doctors are excellent, extremely skilled and competent and front desk staff are professional, friendly and on point. Had terrible experiences with false positives at other facilities which I will not name. There's a reason the waiting room is typically full. Yes, there's a difference in radiology/imaging centers, and this is the best. Been going here for years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. read more

(Rm 102) This place used to be so awesome! I'm a patient here, but not for much longer. I've been looking for a new place to go. The last couple of years it has downgraded a lot. My last visit was the pits. The girls at the front desk don't know there asses from their elbows. They are just the worst. The girls at the front were late opening up the place. Patients were actually sitting in the hallways waiting for them to open. No apologizes from the girls! Their personalities are like watching paint dry! So unprofessional! So incompetence! No smiles! Blank stares! The front desk does not take patients in order of their scheduled appointments. Instead, they take you in by who is first. Last time I was there I waited over 50 minutes for my appt. They ended up letting someone else in who had her scheduled appt later then mine, but since she was first in line they let her be seen first. The office manager, I'm not sure why she's even there. In my opinion she doesn't need to be there. She's certainly is not doing her job, whatever that's supposed to be. I think, again my opinion, she's only there because she is related to one of the Drs. there. They have the same last name (Tanenbaum). Her position is redundant. There is absolutely no reason for her to be there since she doesn't do a damn thing. She doesn't speak with patients. She is rude AF. She doesn't return calls. She practically ignores you. She is about as useless as the girls at the front desk. Arlene the tech who used to do the breast sonograms is gone as well. She was awesome! I miss the older lady with the red hair who used to be at the front desk. Man she was a tough cookie, but she knew her job and knew what she was doing. I wish she never left this place. Within the past 3 months, I went there on 4 separate occasions and have another appointment tomorrow evening. I chose this place because it's easy to park and less than a 10 minute drive from my house. They have their own parking lot but I never had to use it. My 2Nd visit was great n a Saturday morning towards the end of a snowstorm. I needed a hip X-ray and was concerned it would be canceled or delayed due to the weather. It wasn't. I had the same technician who did my back a week or two earlier. She took 2 busses to get here because she knew she had appointments. I was so impressed with her I left her a tip so she can have breakfast on me. She wouldn't take it but I left it for her anyway and flew out the door so she'd have no choice. I never had to wait long in the sitting area. They keep their appointments which is almost unheard of. Reception staff are very friendly, helpful and personable. I've seen 3 different technicians for X-rays, MRI, and Vascular sonograms, all very nice, all very personable. There is no place else I'd go. I highly recommend to friends and family. read more

I was given an 8:50am appt today. Sat in waiting room for 30 min which was fine with ONE other person. I then asked at 9:25 am, "About how much longer for sonogram?" and I was told 25 more minutes. I was also told the mammogram tech would not be in till 10 am. So of course I complained and asked why I was scheduled for 850 when I wouldn't be seen till 10am. Not because they were busy. No no. Because there was no tech to take me. One of receptionist who I was complaining to was apologetic and nice even though I was venting. ( Who wouldn't) However, Martine the other receptionist, pops her head up, jumps into the conversation and said, "There is someone still in the examining room, do you want me to pull her off the table so you can go in?" I was livid. I responded with anger and felt totally disrespected. How dare you She was speaking to the wrong patient. I will be speaking to the manager when they decide to return my call. read more

These people that work here "are incompetent" because they don't listen even when you give them your requests with the name and address of the doctor who was supposed to get the burned CD of my MRI which was URGENT! I had to make a special trip to get the CD and I was sick! NEVER AGAIN!!!!......That is why the best doctors, hospitals and labs are in New York City!!! I only went here because I was "sick". I learned my lesson!!!! Avoid them at all costs!!!!...You are better off traveling into the City then going to Brooklyn Labs!!! If I could give "0" stars I would have!!!! I've been going here annually for 15 years. I schedule my appointments 1 year ahead. This year, I received a call cancelling my scheduled appointment that was less than a week away because they had no tech that day. They only knew this then? They re-scheduled for 2 weeks later at 8:00am. I was there at 7:45 am. No one arrived to office till 8:12am. Was then told I couldn't have an appointment then since tech arrives at 8:30! Not only didn't tech arrive then, I then got a text while in waiting room saying my appointment was 9:05 am. I went to desk and they said tech was an exit away. This was so unprofessional and uncalled for. Said ' office manager ' works remotely. Lol. Clearly she does because no one is running that office. How awful to treat someone who comes for services for 15!years with no explanation! No one should be treated like a fool with these poor attempts at excuses. I have been going here for years and have always had excellent experiences. The staff at the front desk is efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had to have three procedures and the technicians, Olga and Arlene, explained everything that was going to happen and ushered me to the next procedure. I felt comfortable and confident due to their help. The COVID measures made me feel safe, and I was out within half an hour. I never want to go anywhere else. read more

been coming here for many years but after the last two episodes, I will use another facility. I called the day before my internist/cardiologist exam & requested that my recent sonogram findings be faxed to my doctor's office-it was never done. On a separate occasion I called the night before asking to have copies of my sonogram and ctscan available for pick up so that I could bring them to my doctor. Left my # and asked for a callback to let me know when I would be able to get them. Nobody had the courtesy to call back. Time to change radiology facility! read more

Taking Cat Scan. Fasted shot up with dye and nobody checked that scan didn't come out right while I was there so they could redo it. Very sloppy and a waste of time. My Doctor and I were very disappointed. read more

n Tuesday, August 5, 2014, I had an appt. for an MRI. I was a little nervous since the last MRI I had was not a good experience (in hospital). Chuck, the MRI tech, was so nice and concerned for my comfort, it was unbelievable. I think Chuck should be employee of the month. Everyone at Marine Park Radiology were very accommodating. I had the most uncomfortable experience at marine park radiology. My son was there for an chest X-ray he is an infant. I waited about 45 mins before being seen. Than I was told to go to my pcp but I wanted to talk to the radiologist regarding the result. I was told he is in a meeting that I was not able to meet with him. Fine I go to my pcp and he said there you should go to the emergency room. Return to marine park radiology to get films. I was deny of the film had to pay 15.00 for the cd. And I again this was an hour later mind you. I ask to speak with the radiologist... again he would not speak with me long story short. I will NEVER RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO THIS OFFICE AS MY PCP WILL CONTINUE TO USE OTHER OFFICES SUCH AS DOSHI DIAGNOSTIC AND OTHER THAN THIS PLACE THAT CANT SPEAK WITH A MOTHER THAT IS CONCERNED ABOUT HER CHILD WELL BEING!!! After going to them for years I am very disappointed in their billing. Their No Insurance list is very helpful however is lists a DEXA bone scan for only $50. So why, after charging my insurance $350 for my scan, are they now looking for the $57 that insurance didn't pay. I understand deductibles and co-pays but most providers I've gone to have accepted a generous amount from insurance and left it at that. Very disappointed in them. read more

I had a CAT scan done here. I paid cash, $100 per scan. Everyone was very nice and professional and the radiologist was polite and engaging. I made the appointment a week or so ahead of time. The wait time in the waiting room was reasonable , TV to watch in the meantime. The location is a bit off the beaten path but easily accessible by bus. The location itself is clean and well kept. I recommend highly. The rates are more than reasonable in a time and age of medical extortion. read more

Marine Park Radiology deserves no stars. I don't understand what has happened to that place. I have been going there for years. My doctors office called for my results and spoke to medical records. The girl was very, very nasty. My doctor then called and asked to speak to someone in charge but they no longer have a manager so someone named Akela got on the phone but wouldn't give her title. My doctor said \she was very condescending but eventually faxed she over my report. From now on it's Highway Imaging. Even Doshi is better than Marine Park Radiology read more
