Currently living in a small town, my detailing options seem to be either driving into the big city (Tri-Cities) to take my car to the Chevy dealership, who will do a good job but will charge an arm and a leg -- or driving into the big city to take my car to a more independent auto wash who will rush through the detailing and give my car the same attention as the other 20 cars brought in during the same hour. It was by chance that I came across Young's Mobile Auto Detailing, and it was by luck that he happened to be based right here in Benton City! I called him to make an appointment, and he got me in only a few days afterward. With the conflicting work schedules between me and my beau, I had to make sure the detailing was done during a time window that he could go with me both to drop the car off and to pick it up. James confirmed that a 7am drop off would work out. It wasn't until I brought my car in, though, that I told him I would need it back by 11:30a. Like a professional, he worked hard and quickly, completing my car in the allotted time I gave him. The Camaro looks AWESOME now, both inside and out, and I am extremely happy that I chose to give my business to James rather than to some company. Had I given him all day to work on my car, I'm sure it would be even more spotless (if that's possible?!); but I don't think that I could be much happier with the level of work he put in. I was very disappointed with the service I received for window tinting. I initially did not want to write a review as I also am a small business owner and recognize the impact negative reviews may have on local businesses, however, after discovering more damage to my car I felt the need to warn others about the window tinting services. I requested standard window tinting on my brand new 2025 vehicle I purchased 7/3/24. My initial appointment was on 7/26/24 and I dropped my vehicle off at 9:00am. Just before 6:00pm the technician contacted me and asked if I could bring back my vehicle in again another time in order to complete the back window during a second visit as they ran out of tint after trying a few times to place the tint on the back window. I travelled from Spokane for this service, but agreed and went to pick up my vehicle. Upon getting it home I saw there were several spots the tint was applied very poorly, and it was almost a mirrored tint rather than just a dark tint. I immediately texted the technician my concerns, and then stated I would just like to have the tint removed all together. The technician stated the shop could address the concerns on my next appointment which was scheduled for 8/9/24. A few days after my initial appt on 7/26/24 I noticed one of my back port windows had scratches ALL the way around the window that looked like someone was tracing the size of the tint to cut out. On 8/9/24 I again travelled from Spokane and the technician asked about my concerns. I told him I did not feel the tint was done in an acceptable way. He stated that was why they wanted me to come back in to "fix" the feathering or something. I told him that I also noticed there were scratch marks around an entire window and I'd just like the tint removed. The technicians tone immediately changed to more snippy after I brought up the scratches and he said he was sorry I did not like it and they'd take the tint off. No refund was offered at all. They took the tint off, and that all went fine. Now, on the date I am writing this review, 8/15/24, I notice that there are also scratch marks all around my entire back window as well. I am very upset that I have had this brand new vehicle for just barely over a month and now I am left with scratched windows, no tint, and wasted money.
