Happy with everything else though and loan finally turned out ok, they even pay us a kickback at the end of the year for having our mortgage payment automatically deducted from our chase checking account. Oh, and the online banking system and bill pay are very good.

Everyone I encounter in the last 18 years I have been banking there is helpful, kind, professional, and polite. I call every month on the phone to transfer funds verbally to another account instead of going in (which saves me time) and I have never had a hitch or push back. Twice I have had fraud attempts and I was notified right away and the money that did go through at first was promptly returned to me. It was easy and painless. In the past I did have overdraft fees but that is expected and was explained to me when I opened the account, this is a business after all. I fully accept that if I don't have the money in the account and they cover me, I owe an overdraft fee. It's common sense. This is by far the best bank, and I am a very happy customer.
