Let me start by saying I never take the time to leave a review... so this is my first. My college aged daughter traveled alone for the first time and stayed in Kansas City to attend a conference. I was very nervous about her transportation from downtown back to MCI airport at 4 am. I called several transportation services before this one... But none compared to this! From the time I placed the call and talked to David and then Heather at 1st Shuttle Until she was dropped off at the airport... my mamas heart was calmed. David and Heather were very professional but also very personal and encouraging. after I got off of the phone with Heather I felt like we could be the best of friends. She assured me that they would take very good care of my daughter and get her to the airport safely. They went above and beyond every step of the way. They sent a text the night before with driver information and phone number. David met my daughter at the door of her condo and walked with her to the vehicle. He told "dad jokes" all the way to the airport which made her feel at ease. I cannot recommend this company enough. 1st Shuttle Service was a major contributor to my great Kansas City vacation. I used their services to travel from the airport to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and back. The reservation system is easy to use and provides a quick confirmation. They reach out the night before your trip to reconfirm the where, when, and who details including a photo of your driver. It's so helpful to know who to look for amongst the crowd. After I landed, I found a text message from Tom, my driver, telling me exactly where he was and that he had my name displayed on his phone. I walked right up to him. He lead me to the correct baggage carousel and totally took care of getting my bags into a very clean van. During the ride, we had a great conversation about Kansas City. Tom answered all of my questions and provided information on things I might like to do, see, and eat while I was here. I felt safe and well cared for throughout the trip. I can't say enough about this company!! My family had a family emergency and need to get my brother to the airport last minute. Well where he was (in the sticks!!) they only had one cab driver and he would not take him the the hour and a half to the airport. We had all flights booked and paid for and needed to get him out of there ASAP. I am soooo grateful for David! I contacted him at 4:30am and he responded to me an hour later. We set up a reservation not even 24 hours in advance for a pick up at 6:30pm and I thought I was in the clear until I had completely forgot that hotel check out is 11am! I called David at 9:30am and he had my brother in his car an hour later! Best and most comfortable ride my brother has ever taken!! I used 1st Shuttle for an airport shuttle to and from my VA conference at Harrah's and the airport. My driver from the airport, Tom, was very kind and helpful and even had cold bottled water for us! He was a very safe driver and made us both feel comfortable. I immediately booked them for my departure. Thomas picked me up early and reassured me about the stormy skies. We had a lovely chat to the airport. I felt safe on both of my rides (which is more than you can say for most Uber and Lyft rides these days). We have been using 1st Shuttle for over a year now for trips to and from the airport. They are responsive, timely, friendly, and customer oriented. They are always on time (usually a little early) and their cars are clean and roomy. We had 5 peeps and luggage and we were lucky enough to use this service. Tom is AMAZING and runs a class act shuttle. DO NOT USE anyone else but this service and Tom. From the minute we got the confirmation everything went smoothly, text keeping us up to date etc. He offered us snacks and water, offered music or non music. Tom is an amazingly kind guy! he kept us informed on his way to pick us up!
