The chocolates here are absolutely beautiful. I've only eaten them a few times because they are a bit pricey for what I can regularly spend on myself, but they are yummy when I allow myself to indulge. They do make an incredibly impressive gift, and that's why I usually buy them. It's nice to have a place in town where you can run in and pick up that last minute gift that is sure to please everyone. I used their website to do Mother's Day gifts this year. Purchased the Groupon deals for both the chocolate painting & wine class and the chocolate and tea tasting class. Both were great! The classes were fun yet very informative, especially the tea one. The host is a lovely woman that keeps you entertained and engaged. The chocolate is delicious and so creative! When we went it was mostly couples so it would make a great date night but also great with friends! Will definitely be returning for more classes! read more

Just got back from cocoa 101 class I purchased on groupon. Had such a fun night! The experience all together was great. Whether you're with a friend, family member or significant other. Staff was very knowledgable about chocolate and the company. We had Maryann she was fantastic. The chocolate is outstanding. I look forward to going again for a class and to purchase chocolate! The chocolates are a little pricey but you get what you pay for! Classes book quickly so if looking for a specific date, give plenty time in advance to book. read more

If you're expecting wine... do NOT go to the "chocolate and wine" tasting they offer. Where as the Groupon does say to not expect to get drunk, the only refreshments we were served a SIP of a hard cider, a rose, and a port. The teacher of the class was not very pleasant and rambled on about useless information that did not seem to matter. The whole class lasted about 2 hours but probably could've been completed in less than one. At the end they gave us one of those kiddie cup ice creams ... we didn't even get to create our own truffles. So disappointing! Chocolate was not very good... and I am a huge lover of chocolate. Would not recommend to a friend... DO NOT waste your money!!!! read more

As I entered the place I was expecting to see a lot of different truffle selections. It was far less than I expected. I'm not sure if because I stopped by midweek and they have more during the weekend? I'm also not sure if there are different truffle selections based on when you stop by. And so I looked at the young lady behind the counter but she was busy on her phone. I start asking questions but also felt that answering them were a burden to her. I took me about a minute or so to pick 4 pieces of truffles because as I said there weren't a lot of selections and that some of them had liquor or some form of alcohol in it. I felt the lady was become impatient and so I'm giving 1 less star for the less than accommodating lady and another less star for the truffle selections. Now about the taste, I've had better truffles sold by better a salesperson. I guess if you like the artistic outcome of how these truffles look like then you should try it. But if you go for taste rather than looks then you are better off buying somewhere else. read more

Went with my 9 year old daughter this weekend for the chocolate pizza making class. We had a great time. You start off decorating your chef hat which you wear throughout the class. My daughter enjoyed being artistic. Then your given a precooked pizza dough with hot chocolate sauce to spread as if it was tomato sauce. Next you choose from 21 different toppings to decorate your pie. When your finished you can either eat your creation there or take it home. We opted for the second choice. My daughter was delighted to see them pack our creations in real pizza boxes. The store also sells homemade chocolate and cupcakes. In addition their are racks of various candies that would appeal mostly to younger children. I highly recommend this class for a fun afternoon. They are also starting chocolate birthday parties. I only wish we lived closer as my daughter was interested in having her party there. read more

I've been a (very) regular customer for a year and a half. I have never had anything less than AMAZING here. The chocolate is extremely high quality and absolutely stunning. The bon bons look like gemstones and taste just as good as they look! I take advantage of the refill program more than I would like to admit. All the barks are out of this world amazing as well! Some of my favorites are the espresso bark, coconut lime bark, chocolate-coconut fluff bar and the spice tiles. All the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating and just add to the awesomeness. I've done both the Cocoa 101 and the Beer and Chocolate pairing class and had a great time. Love this place! read more

I went there in Metuchen at 8:30 on a Friday. Unfortunately when I went there at 8:30 no one was there to give me any yummy chocolate because the place was closed. It would have been my first time trying. But it looks like I will not be not be trying out a place that can't even live up to the hours of operation on their door. read more

We chose the Tea and Chocolate class as a client appreciation event and we had a blast! The teas were complex and unique flavors, and the chocolates were delicious and beautiful. Everyone in our group had a smile on their faces the whole time. It was educational, but not dry. Elyissia, the owner and our host, was energetic and entertaining, and we left with a much better appreciation for chocolate making and the different styles of tea. Went to the East Brunswick location for a wine and chocolate pairing and painting class that a group of friends and I bought a groupon for. First of all, we were told to arrive at the wrong time (30-45 minutes early), and then the class didn't even start on time. Then, when the class started, we were expecting some instruction regarding what to paint, but we were just told to go paint whatever we wanted. The chocolate wasn't really easy to paint because the chocolate hardens very quickly and there was only one warmer for a table of 12 people. The tasting part of it also left something to be desired. There were only 3 tastings, two of which you don't even receive the actual whole chocolate, just the inside filling of the chocolates they make. After that we were told to walk around and look around the store - Basically the class felt like a ploy to just get people to come in and buy chocolates in the store. (And for 4 chocolates for $12, none of us were jumping to buy anything). The chocolates were good... and beautiful for sure, but that seemed ridiculous. I understand it's a business, but it felt pushy. More tastings would have been a more persuasive way to get me to buy something. And the attitude seemed to change once it was obvious no one was going to purchase anything. Wouldn't recommend this class... Chocolate is ok if you are willing to pay for it... read more

I had a groupon for a chocolate pizza making class for 2. Being it was 2:00 on a Tuesday there was no one else in the class but the 2 of us. It wasn't really a class at all. The girl who was very nice brought out 2 tortilla shells & melted a half paper cup of chocolate. There was a decent selection of toppings to put on. Honestly we were done in under 10 minutes. You have to work fast cause the chocolate starts to harden quickly & once it does the toppings will no longer stick. For me the biggest problem was the taste of the tortilla. It was not a good base to work upon. When we got home we ate 1 piece & threw the rest in the garbage as the bottom was soooo dry & tasteless. The topping were very good & some of them we did eat. Overall this is not an event that takes time & you can have a nice time out. Its over way 2 quick. Even w/a groupon it is NOT a bargain. At least I did not pay $25 for each of us. That would have upset me. Save your money & go to a movie or donate to charity. read more
