When I arrived at Omnibus I was greeted with open arms and I felt the staffs excitement for my wedding day. They took one look at me and said I have the perfect gown for you. Well they pulled out this dazzling silky gown completely beaded and fit like a glove. I was in love and knew I came to the right place. I purchased the dress at that moment they started the process for some areas that needed a little tightening. I then came back a few weeks later and picked up my gown. EVERYONE LOVED THIS DRESS and it looked FABULOUS in photos. I went back in another time with my mother to find her the most perfect mother of the bride gown. My mother was treated as if she was their own mother and they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in the gown and felt beautiful as she is. (She does not wear dresses ever) They did a fantastic job on the alterations and even made her a shawl with leftover material to make her even more happy. I was intrigued because I'm always looking for unique clothes and accessories that not everyone else has. Plus, the name is catchy (I used to work in the fashion industry and I'm a professional Marketer who notices these types of things). I finally made it there about a week and a half ago... I'll DEFINITELY be back soon! The boutique is small and cute while remaining unpretentious. They had tons of trendy yet affordable clothes and accessories. They also had their end-of-summer sale. I wound up purchasing the cutest yet versatile lobster tote for only $6! Some fall stuff had already been displayed, but at a very reasonable price point. What made my experience truly wonderful was the store manager- a lovely woman named Nancy who assisted me. She was friendly, helpful, and not pushy (a huge plus for me). We had a nice long conversation about all kinds of things and her husband, Leo, was onsite and took part in the conversation as well. It's impromptu moments like this that I truly appreciate and you don't find every day. I'll visit again soon as I'm only about 15/20 minutes away. I hope to meet the owner so that I can tell her about my experience and met her know what she has an MVP staffer! First, I was told that in order to guarantee the suit's availability within that time frame, I'd have to pay an additional $150 fee over the cost of the suit. I reluctantly agreed, and thereafter was "measured" for my suit by trying on various slacks and ill-fitting jackets. The process was so unnerving that a few days layer I telephone the shop and inquired about how much time it would take to make major adjustments to the jacket should it prove necessary, and was told not to worry. On August 17th, not having heard from the shop, I telephone them, only to be told the suit was "in" and I should come in for my final fitting. When I inquired as to why no one had informed me of the suit's arrival, I was simply told someone must have called! In any event, I went in the following day and, sure enough, the jacket didn't fit properly. Told again not to worry, the adjustments necessary would be made and the suit would be ready on August 26th. I picked up the suit today (August 26th) and no adjustments were made to the jacket. Rather than argue, I took the suit immediately to my tailor for adjustment. We are both hoping the jacket can be properly modified. Also, another annoyance (though minor) is that when I purchased the suit, they asked for my initials so they could be sewn into the lining. No initials were ever sewn into the lining). All in all, not a first-class operation at all. I'm just glad I had the foresight to purchase another suit off the rack for the dinner-party!

Days go by and the tracking still says UPS is waiting for the package. I reach out and I am told that they will reach out to UPS. Another day goes by so I reach out again for an update (you would think they would reach out to me if they really called UPS). I ask for an update and i am told "Hi! Yes. The issue was the product sold out before we could ship :( We are issuing you a refund today." DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL. Why say you will call UPS if it already sold out? Plus, why let me complete the purchase if it was already sold out? I was given a tracking number 5 DAYS after my order was placed confirming it was shipped out. I have had another friend experience a situation where the item actually did sell out where she placed the order and then she was automatically refunded WITHOUT getting a tracking number. Be careful shopping here. This situation will have me not shopping here anymore. VERY sketchy. I know I was not told the real reason. Probably gave away my item yet I already claimed it will my order. If an order is placed and you are reviewing that order and see it is sold out you should contact the buyer and not provide a tracking number. Not wait for the buyer to contact you.
