Was excited to try this place for a while now. The guy was borderline rude and barely even looked at me while I was placing my order. The person I was with ordered 2 extra pitas and even asked about the pita sizes and details, so it was clear. We both ordered combo platters and I specified I wanted chicken in that combo. He looked like he was barely listening, so I reiterated the order and he adjusted the order bc he didn't hear that the person I was with also wanted a combo platter. We asked for the hottest sauce and he implied that we couldn't handle it. I told him we love spicy food and want it anyway (it wasn't even that hot). The whole interaction rubbed me the wrong way, but I excused the poor customer service thinking that the food would make up for it. There was barely any sauce on the food, just a few chunks of meat on both of our plates mixed into the veggies, NONE of which was chicken. Oh, and no extra pita that we ordered either. Very disappointing. The food that was there wasn't anything I would order again. First and last time at this food truck. read more

Wow - wish I could have picked this up in person it would have easily been 5*. Used Door Dash for delivery - got the chicken platter with the sauce on the side. I'm not rating Door Dash but the driver was late which meant the food was just warm when I received it {not 2 Guys fault}. The flavors here on the chicken and in the sauce are phenomenal - chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender {I'm a salter and didn't need it at all and, no it wasn't salty - but very well seasoned}. The sauce was also excellent. I didn't eat the rice other than a few bites to taste it and if I wasn't watching my carbs I would have inhaled it - excellent. This food was super delicious, the rice was execellent, the meats were so tender, the pita was fresh, and the white sauce was delicious. The chicken platter was okay, but the chicken gyro was not good at all if you are looking for a traditional gyro. There were chunks of chicken instead of it being thinly sliced, there were grilled veggies and the tzatziki sauce tasted like ranch. read more

Great option here in town. They're fast and filling at a decent price and a great go-to when you're in a hurry but still want to feel like you've enjoyed a good meal without overdoing it. Me being the adventurous person I am, seeing a new food truck in town was super exciting, so I gave it a shot. The worker greeted me with samples of the (no joke) best pieces of meat I have ever tried!!! It wasn't an option anymore after I tried the sample, I had only one choice. I HAD TO GET MORE!!! This place was recommended by a friend. The spices and freshness were spot on. My husband and son had the beef and lamb gyro and I had the chicken platter. We got all three sauces on everything. The white sauce was fragrant and the hot sauce was just the right amount of heat. Everything was fresh and delicious. I definitely look forward to eating there again. read more

Although the food isn't terrible, it's not as great as it used to be. The truck used to park on Bechelli at the liquor store, and we went 3-4 times a week. They stopped parking there, so this is our first time, since we saw they were at the river park. We ordered the same thing we always do, but the portions were smaller, the protein was almost all veggies (and on one order we paid for extra chicken). Overall, not nearly what it was when the other guy worked the truck. I don't think I'll be coming back. It's not bad, but the other guy really raised the bar, and since I know your great it can be, this just isn't good enough. I'm sad. read more

Ordered two lamb platters with white and hot sauce on the side. Plenty of food! Highlights: rice was delicious and well seasoned, lots of meat - large chunks vs thins slices we are accustomed to seeing, and a few veggies. We arrived just before closing so maybe why our salads were missing cucumbers and salad dressing. The meal needed some acid/lemon or something to make it all pop. Food is actually pretty great. Not a traditional gyro in the sense that it's chunks of meat here not thinly sliced. I'm also use to fresh onions in gyros, not grilled, (and don't bother asking them to put raw in, the guy refused me this simple request) but I can get down with the style and taste of this gyro, it was quite good. I like good food, even if it's different than I envisioned. No complaints on the flavor and quality. Unfortunately the grouchy, borderline rude customer service the guy provides means I won't return. I've found it super challenging to find good food in Redding since moving up from Los Angeles. So glad to have found 2 Guys and A Grill because they have absolutely delicious food! Super tasty Hot and fresh We had both the lamb and chicken combo platters. Preferred the lamb but both were very good. Rice...lemon? Not sure but so good! Veggies...lettuce tomatoe cilantro avacado all cold and crisp. Freshness is important to me. Great prices for the 0latters considering the amount of food!! Meat- salad- rice and pita bread. Try it!!
