I was busy at working on a Saturday, and I was looking for a place to eat, and I ran across this…read morelittle eatery, Shorty's Eatery to be specific. The description was American and Filipino food. Right away I knew I had to go. Where I'm from, there are no Filipino restaurants anywhere and I grew up with a lot of Filipino friends, so I was kind of having a craving for some Filipino food. I've driven by this place a bunch of times not realizing what it was. First of all, the place is really cute, rustic and sort of antique. They do have lots of American flags all over the place but given the location, that makes perfect sense. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, and Filipino food! I tried the chicken adobo plate, which they only serve on weekends, and this was recommended by a gentleman while I was waiting in line to order. Really glad I picked this plate. The chicken was hot and tender and flavorful, and the pancit and lumpia were excellent! I drive by this location at least twice a month, so I'll definitely be stopping by again .
