Stopped here for a chai while traveling through Redding, and I'm so glad we did. The staff were incredibly welcoming, courteous, and professional while still making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help us. They also have an Indian grocery store on-site, which was a great bonus, we picked up a few items while we were there. The location is very convenient, right off the freeway, making it an easy stop for travelers. Friendly people, great food, great chai, and outstanding customer service. Though its a food truck but it does have some outdoor and indoor dining if u are pressed for time/ distance and dont want to simply takeout. I prefer the roti - kadai chicken - 2/5- not the semi dry gravy but it had too much gravy for my liking. Skip it and try butter chicken instead - dal makhani - 5/5 creamy and perfect in every way - mix veg sabzi - large - 5/5 must try- variety of veggies paired together and simmered to softness in flavorful spices. Hands down the best Punjabi food I have had in california. You can't beat those tawa rotis. Pair them with any curry they have but you must get the chicken curry and saag paneer! The dal was just like you'd get at a langar and we actually went back to try it again. They make it all super fresh and did I mention tawa roti!! We ordered a vegan dal makhani and chole just to end up with diarrhoea. Not sure if it was the lack of hygiene or diary inclusion that caused it. There was no dal in the dal makhani and the chole tasted like ketchup and the rice was totally undercooked. Best I've ever had. Friendly and amazing food. I can't believe this all came from a truck. How do they do it?

We were looking for an outdoor seating area to eat since we have a dog. We were spending the night in a hotel and didn't want to leave her alone. Besides, the evening weather was nice. We even had a sunset while sitting in the outdoor area. There is also an indoor area to eat too. We ordered the curry chicken, chicken tiki masala, and naan. The naan was by far the best naan we have ever had and they were the size of a dinner plate, we ordered two which was plenty. My fav was the chicken tiki masala! It was so flavorful. I wanted to take the leftover sauce and rice back to the hotel but we wouldn't have time to eat it because we were on our way to Oregon. I'm so glad I convinced my husband to try the food truck. I love supporting a mom and pop restaurant. The service was very nice. The food was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this food truck! read more

Don't be fooled by the fact that the food is prepared in a food truck. This is delicious food and the servings are generous. My wife and I ordered the food to go but you can eat in the Indian store that's right in front of the truck. Our only disappointment was the naan, which was more like a giant roti than naan since it was cooked on the griddle. Other than that, both of the dishes we ordered were delicious. read more

My mom and I were driving up i-5 on our road trip to Oregon, and got hungry for something that wasn't in a store. with covid, I have been trying to avoid busy stores, and when I saw this food truck on the side of the road it was an impulse to pull over and check it out. I'm glad I did. The man running the truck is incredibly nice and friendly, and provides a full menu of Indian food as if he was running a full-scale restaurant. Everything is made fresh to order, and is made of really fresh ingredients. It was surprising to me to find something of such high quality on the side of the road. I bought an order of palak paneer with some rice and some naan bread. It was ready to go within 10 minutes, and I drove it up the road and enjoyed it while looking over Lake Shasta. I tried their food while my stay in Redding. It is a food truck but they prepare everything then and there( nothing frozen/ pre cooked). I got samosa's which were made fresh in front of me.
