This is the first time I've hired a groomer (let alone mobile groomer). I am watching a lab for 2+…read moreweeks and he needed his nails trimmed. I didn't want to take him to a pet store on my own. The Cuddle Cutz price was extremely affordable, the same as a pet store, and Cuddle Cutz was coming to my home on my schedule! I have a long haired cat and added a sanitary trim and paw trim to the dog's nail trim. This was also very affordable. The Cuddle Cutz team arrived a few minutes early and the dog and cat immediately ran up to greet them. The team have a very calm presence. Cuddle Cutz did the grooming in my downstairs bathroom. Both animals were comfortable in this space. Cuddle Cutz brought a portable grooming table, vacuum, broom, dustpan, and of course the "tackle box" of grooming supplies. Also treats! They were extremely fast and only took around 15 minutes for both animals. It was a very easy transaction and I will call them for any future grooming needs.

But the worse part of all of this was that Lori charged my credit card the total grooming charge the day BEFORE she even came to my house to perform the service. She also charged a 12% sales tax plus a 4.06 fee for using my credit card. I found this out from my credit card company after the fact. Also, six days before this, my credit card was charged a fee for Lori to check to see if my credit card was good. To me, this is very poor business practices and I will never recommend her service to anyone.

She said, well we feel its best you find another kennel, and we can't drop everything we are doing to answer your calls. Im really not understanding how she runs a business like this. I started calling the country vet at around 8:30 AM yesterday and called 3 to 4 times and no one…read morewould ever answer the phone to let them know that I needed to bring my dog by. I left a message. No response so I took my dog to the country vet for an issue I was concerned about and I wanted one of the vets to look at him. The girl at the desk told me it would be an additional $325 plus the expenses on top of that for the vet to look at him since I did not have an appointment. There were two veterinarians on duty at this time. A hospital is there to take care of any pet regardless of an appointment or not I thought without gouging the customer. It is the only Animal Hospital that I have ever known to put such a ridiculous additional charge just for the vet to travel 5 feet down the hall to see your dog. And I've had dogs all of my life. I'll grant you it was a Saturday morning and she claimed they were booked, but there wasn't but one or two people in the lobby waiting for service. I've been taking my dog to country vet since he was a pup in 2021. So I left country vet and road up 158 to another veterinarian place that I did not have an account with and have never taken my dog too, but they were kind enough to look at my dog and luckily everything was OK and they ran several tests but only charged me a total of $145. The exact same Service I was looking for at country vet and even though I had an account at country vet for the last four years they were going to charge me an additional $325 on top of the other expenditures that I would've had to have spent that day. Do your homework because there are good veterinarian clinics in Davie County. Shame on country vet because there are so many people out there that just could not afford an additional $325 extra charge to treat their animals that they love. So are they just to remain sick?? Beware. I have left this business and I have gone to another veterinarian up the road, which is so much better!!!
