I went to 2 thumbs up after having surgery on my left hand in a sporting event injury I was recommended to this place by others I checked the reviews on Yelp.com all 5 stars that's good of the 10 appointments I went to I felt I was @ 85% I was also doing things on my own so I felt I was good to go some of the exercises we did was painful but it had to be done to make the left hand better for my upcoming ice hockey season. Two Thumbs Up is awesome!! Office and all staff are so warm and welcoming and everyone so friendly and helpful! Bridget did an excellent job with rehab to my fractured radial head. I was shocked at how fast I progressed gaining strength and range of motion! I have received OT elsewhere before for other injuries, and I barely got 20 minutes of therapist time. Here I received one hour of therapy and was able to see and feel my positive progress!! Bridget is wonderful, an expert in her field and a good problem solver! Having been to afew different physical therapy places I am happy to let anyone needing Hand Therapy know, that in my opinion this is THE place to go. Terri and her team are warm, welcoming and knowlegeable dedicated professionals who work with you so that you may reach your most optimal results and functionality. Additionally the set up and atmosphere at "2 Thumbs Up" is friendly, comfortable and encouraging. As a pleasant surprise I found that Terri and her team's work ethic is to get you in to see them by comparison remarkably quicker than other places, of which there aren't many to begin with compared to other kinds of therapy. I found this out while researching where I could go for Hand Therapy until I found them. The reason I went there was post surgery for a double fractured wrist & hand injury. It resulted in diminished use of wrist, hand, thumb and fingers that initially couldn't be moved or touched. I never thought I'd say the sentence, "I actually looked forward going for my hand therapy appointments!" :) They made it fun. They got me to a place where my "Humpty Dumpty pieced back together wrist/hand/fingers" can function a whole lot better than I thought I would be able to. Something I am very grateful and thankful for. My experience was very positive. You just feel very cared about from the moment you walk in, until you "graduate". After my major wrist surgery I went to 2 Thumbs Up Hand Therapy for occupational therapy, where I received great help in regaining my strength and range of motion in my wrist and hand. Finding or being referred to a place like 2 Thumbs Up is like finding a diamond in the rough! For years, I have had very little strength in both of my hands. Part way into therapy for undiagnosed chronic wrist pain since 2015, my left hand and wrist were crushed by a copier (a workplace injury). The attentiveness of the entire staff who worked on my hands and strengthened their function has not gone unnoticed.
