Hours of operation mean nothing, got to the business 30 minutes before they closed and they were closed!

Appointment : Setting up an appointment was real easy. I gave them days and times that were convenient for me and ended up getting a same day appointment. Wait time : The wait time to see the doctor was the best part about the visit. It's quiet normal for doctors to make you wait for over 30 mins past your appointment time. I met the doctor at the exact time of my appointment. Almost never happens! The doctor : Dr. Park was friendly and thorough with the eye exam. He went the extra mile to talk about remedies for eye irritants and allergies. Did a glaucoma exam as well. Eyewear : The store has a collection of eyewear that should suit anyone's basic needs. I had a specific brand and style in mind which they did not carry. The doctor's wife handles the store and she was not pushy, discussed the options they had and let me try them. I did not make a purchase though. Location : Conveniently located off 635 and MacArthur - next to Fish City Grill & MiCocino. Plenty of parking available. You can look at the frames they carry if you arrive early for your appointment. I will continue to consult Dr. Park for my vision related needs going forward. read more

Dr. Park provides the opt-imal care! He is always so gracious, patient, and informative whenever you have a question (or in my case, a million) about your eyeballs. I also consider him a mentor too, because he gives me good advice on future endeavors when solicited haha. His office is located off of I-635 and there's a ton of shopping/eating places surrounding it. His office is facing parallel to the highway, to be specific. Entering, you have a good selection of frames to choose from. It's a standard selection, and everything is clean, bright, and organized. They even have sticker deals for cheaper frames, even as cheap as $85. But they do carry high name-brands like Gucci, Versache, Ray-Bans, etc. Give your hindsight a 20/20 decision and choose this office for your vision needs. You won't regret it. read more

I have been going to this place since many years when Dr Park was running this clinic. This time I went and got to know that Dr Park is retiring. This visit I didn't had a good experience - 1. In spite of Insurance I paid 350$ 2. They did not call me to inform that my glasses are ready, when I called them after almost a month, they said- yes your glasses are ready today. 3. They took 15$ more when I went to pick up glasses , front desk couldn't answer why they are charging more. 4. They charge me for what I didn't consent to. With all the new staff and new doc, I didn't had good experience and will not go there again. read more

Nice staff and doctor. I haven't ordered frames, but I did have the lenses updated in a pair of existing frames. The woman that helped me was very professional and answered all of my questions. I was a walk-in, so I was thrilled she was able to assist me without an appointment. read more

The three stars is tough but facts are facts. The office was great, the doctor was great, and the staff folks are awesome. I just cannot believe how long it takes to get glasses. We're at 10 days and counting and today I was told it will be at least another six days before they are ready. What's funny is a bought a back up pair that same day and a shop across the street and there came in on Monday as expected. I am beginning to wonder if the order fell through the cracks and all this I am being told is a bunch of Bravo Sierra to cover it up. I will return to visit the doctor because he is awesome and thorough. But I will not buy another pair of glasses there again. I am all about outstanding customer service and folks, this is not it. The fact that I have had to call to get what little information I have gotten is a real problem for me. Once those glasses were late I should have gotten a call with a proper explanation. Been coming here for years since I was single lady and now my whole family come here to see Dr. Park! He is the kindest and most patient dr you will find. Wish he was our physician as well. : ) He always remember one or two things about you to make the appointment so personable and he truly cares about getting you the right fit/vision. He is also big on hygiene and always clean the surface of any area your chin/forehead would be in contact with. His wife also works the front and she is cordial and quick. They're clean. I called ahead to ask if they had any openings ,but the lady said they won't till 2:30. I need to be there around 11:30 - 1:00 I said no even though the eye exam was a good price , and I called 10 other optometrist but they weren't available. BUT she squeezed in for 12:40. She was really sweet It was a quick process and they helped me with everything. I felt super comfortable and I loved the experience. read more

My husband had made an appointment for an eye exam and I tagged along. I will admit that it had been several years since my eyes had been examined. I was putting it off because, well, I knew I would need reading glasses. Doesn't it mean you are OLD when you need reading glasses? So, I would bury my head in the sand and hope my eyesight would miraculously be healed. Nope, didn't happen. While My spouse was getting this exam, I bit the bullet and asked the kind receptionist if Dr. Park would be able to see me, as well. Kind of secretly hoping she would say he was too booked, she said she could squeeze me in. Damn, oh I mean, Thank you! Getting eye exams can be uncomfortable, with the doc's breath on your face as he checks your eyes. But, Dr Parks was very professional and nice. He performed a thorough exam while my hubby was picking out frames for his new prescription. And yes, I could not hide that I was in need of reading glasses. No amount of faking it would work because I simply could't see print unless it was touching my nose and I was squinting. Yep, I am officially old. But, at least I can see my old face now! Dr. Park is absolutely amazing He asked my wife to come back later when her eyes are not so dry because the result can be inaccurate. She had dry eye for like forever but there was no other doctor that told her that because everyone else wanted money right away, but Dr. Park is different. After my vision test, he said my current glasses are too strong for me. That's good because I can see objects clear, but it can easily cause fatigue, which is true. Instead of going higher dose like other doctors, he suggested lower dose so that my muscles in my eye can be more relaxed. Ended up loving this doctor and I'll definitely come back. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Park for years because he knows more about dry eye and blepharitis than anyone. Even though I moved away to Frisco I come to see him since he is so knowledgeable and really cares. He's even solved some scalp and skin issues that I've had with some home remedies he recommended. The staff is really helpful picking out frames that are suitable for high prescriptions like mine. One lady even offered to let me try on her glasses since her prescription was close to mine and had the frames I liked. They have a wide selection of stylish major brands and designer frames. Dr. Park is awesome. I have been going to Dr.Park for past 13 years for my vision check up. He is very gracious and truly cares. He always encourages me to excercise regularly which is important to have a good eyesight. Dr. Park is a good mentor to me. Eyecare 20/20 office staff is also very friendly. One can get appointments very easily. The office is also open on Saturday's. There is no wait time. I am very much happy that I see Dr.Park for my vision check up. read more

My family optometrist... I've been using Eyecare 20/20 for over 10 years. Never had a single issue and I've always received my frames/lenses on time if not sooner. They even order if you have the brand and model number. Comes in handy for those who have little fashionistas lol. They also use all major insurance company's. You're generally in and out within 30 minutes tops. read more

They are always very friendly and try to accommodate you as much as possible. It has a family run atmosphere and very comforting to go to. July 2011: AVOID AT ALL COSTS: EYECARE 20/20 in Irving The doctor was just okay but the customer service is horrible. We've had nothing but trouble since visiting there. We will never go back and feel obliged to warn others to avoid the place at all costs. You get the feeling when dealing with them that they want to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Here's the trouble we've had: 1. My husband got an eye exam from EyeCare 20/20 in the fall of 2010 and then in the spring of 2011, we ordered a few more boxes of contacts from them. When I picked them up, the what appeared to be the owner, said we owed another $30 from our visit in the fall. Due to a "clerical" issue, she said they didn't charge us enough. We had already paid plenty and I didn't understand what the charge was for and kept asking for an explanation. She kept blaming/berating the mistake on the nice girl at the front desk. She went round-and-round but I really never understood the charge. I paid it anyway, vowing to myself that we would never return. However, we had to get a copy of my husband's prescription because we wanted to order contacts from 1-800 contacts and now have gotten more run around from EyeCare 20/20. (see #2) 2. My husband wanted to order a year supply of contacts from 1-800 contacts but EyeCare 20/20 put a limit on how many boxes he could order because they said he needed an eye exam in October. My husband and I have been wearing contacts for decades. Neither of us have ever had problems (until now) getting our contact lense prescription and ordering a year's worth of contacts. The doctors have trusted us that we would return if we were having problems with our eyes. Additionally, with 1-800 contacts they will replace your contacts for free if you get a new prescription so I'm never worried about ordering too many . The law allows you to order a year and in some cases two years worth of contacts with a valid prescription unless the eye doctor says otherwise. Of course, EyeCare 20/20 knows it's more lucrative for the eye doctor to see you every year. [In fact, when talking to them about it, the lady on the phone said "It's better for US for you to come every year.... Which I politely pointed out that I didn't care what was best for them and she tried to retract her statement.] Bottom line... I don't trust this place. Shady! read more

Worst service. My first visit to this doctor, he didn't even bother to examine my eye properly. Under 10 min, he said he finished his examination & talking about selling Glasses & frames. Dr. Park at Eyecare 20/20 is the first optometrist that really seemed to care about my vision. He took his time with his exam and to counsel me afterwards. Most optometrists I have been to just want to get your prescription and move on to the next patient, but Dr. Park seems to really care about the health of his patients. He has a kind patient demeanor and is very thorough. I will not see another optometrist as long as I live in North Texas. He is a strong recommendation from me if you are looking for a good optometrist that will care about you. read more

The doctor and his staff are very friendly. The frame selection is not the biggest I've ever seen, but no one in my family has ever had an issue finding frames that they like. I also appreciate that they don't pester the heck out of you every six months like some other places do. Whatever you do stay away from this place!! I bought glasses here that cost me out of pocket over four hundred dollars and then they wanted more money to make them look wearable after they arrived and I didn't want them. The insurance I have pays for everything except upgrades which I paid in full out of pocket. The glasses are unbelievable and look like the lenses came from 1920's - and flawed in the corner. They will not allow me to get my money back and so now I have to file a complaint and all the other headaches that comes along with fighting for what's right. I got glasses there a year ago and they are awful. Very cheaply made although not cheap for me. I literally had to go in once a month for about 6 months to have the screw's tightened and eventually replaced but after 2 days they are loose again. So got the frames replaced under warranty and these are doing the same. They are just awful glasses. I can't see without them though and don't have money for new ones. My husband got his glasses over 2 years ago and his are 100 times better then mine. Mine are so loose and fall off my face. Yes I won't be returning so disipointed and frustrated read more

This place is the worst ever. Let's start from when you first call to make an appointment and tell you your co-pay is $0.00 for a contacts exam. You can hardly even understand the doctor. He doesn't talk much and it's super awkward. Then at the end of the consultation they tell me my balance is $55 when clearly the moron i spoke with over the phone said it was zero. Then when i called back a day later to switch the brand of contacts they said that would be fine so they call me two weeks later i go get them and they are totally the wrong ones. She handed me an off brand 6 month supplies saying i came in and cancelled and ordered those. WTF are they smoking on. I am highly pissed off because now i have to wait another two weeks for these contact lenses. Never ever again. I'm sticking to Las Colinas Vision center. They are awesome and just up the block. read more
