Excellent care, communication, and staff! I had what the doctors called a "mega prescription" -8.5 and -8.0 in contacts for my right and left eyes, along with astigmatism. I didn't even think I would qualify for Lasik, so I never bothered to look into it until my brother decided to, so we ended up scheduling consults at the same time. The office is so nice, and the staff are amazing! Jessica, Elizabeth, Audra, and both eye doctors I saw were so nice and caring and excited for us to get the procedures! To explain, I qualified for Standard LASIK. Because my prescriptions are so high in each eye, I will not be able to get a revision down the road if my eyes regress a bit. This is OK with me since I haven't been able to see clearly without glasses or contacts for over 20 years, so if I need a couple of contacts to sharpen my sight in 10 or even 5 years, that's fine with me. The biggest benefit is that with Lasik, my eyes will never be as bad as they were before. The surgery was a bit uncomfortable, but it was very quick. I think it took 7ish minutes total. I could see immediately after I opened my eyes, and I started crying because I was so happy and grateful! The next day, my vision was very sharp. I'm really looking forward to the things that stunk with contacts- like skiing and camping and even just seeing the sunrise immediately in the morning. :) read more

The 20/20 Institute is the best that there is, not only for their services, but the staff, doctors and facility are 5-star. My husband is a doctor and has always worn glasses and would not consider eye surgery. However, his eyesight was getting worse, and his prescriptions more intense as the years have gone by. The initial consultation was amazing and assured us that he was going to be better than fine, but see things in more detail and without glasses. Next was us scheduling his surgery. As the date came closer, he became more and more anxious. However once we got in, they did an amazing job of calming him down and told him to focus, relax and it would soon be over. And it was, they prepped him post surgery, sent us home with instructions, follow up appointment and medication (eye drops) and what to expect. Well, the next days follow up appointment was terrific! They removed his eye covering, did what they had to do and I could hear my husband all the way out in the waiting room (he is a very quiet person) yelling with joy and praising everyone. We have the other eye to go this week, so until then, just know, if you need Lasik eye surgery, don't look any further and come to 20/20 Institute. We could not be happier! read more

Lifechanging! My partner found 20/20 Institute and brought me to several of his appointments so I knew what the LASIK experience would be like when it was my turn. Instead of delaying the process by several months or years, I booked an initial consultation out of curiosity to see if I was even eligible then ended up going through with the whole process. The staff and doctors were incredible at both locations I visited across all my appointments. They really live their value of 'informed consent' and making sure all their prospective patients are well-educated on the LASIK procedure and recovery. I felt confident in their hands, even when I had a full-on panic attack halfway through my surgery. I can't imagine life with glasses and contacts anymore. Getting LASIK feels like magic, and I recommend it to anyone that can make it happen. My advice is to book a consultation first, then make a decision. The main challenge here seemed to be pulling up my finance plan which ended up taking awhile, but it was a small hiccup in the grand scheme of things. read more

I would have given 20/20 a 3 or 4 when I had my procedure. I did not have 20/20 after my initial procedure and had to have a second procedure. Not a huge deal. However after 5 years, I am the minority who can't see without contacts or glasses (3 years after glasses for driving). Buy the correction insurance!! It is $3000 to get an adjustment after just a few years. I would not do it all over again. Too much money for just a couple years with great sight read more

I went to FOUR different Lasik Doctors to make sure I am choosing the best option. I sadly, chose 20/20 institute. First red flag that you will notice, Dr. Danzo will meet with you and be the nice face of the company. They do that for a reason because the day of your procedure you will meet the cold non friendly surgeon. If I met him the day of my consult I would have chose one of the other practices. My experience at 20/20 Institute was incredibly disappointing. After weeks of anxious anticipation leading up to my LASIK appointment, I was already nervous about the procedure. However, things only got worse once I was in the operating room. The surgeon seemed rushed, likely because he had multiple other procedures to complete that day. During the procedure, they struggled to get the suction cup to stay on my eye. After a few failed attempts, with little to no guidance from the surgeon, they decided to try again. I was left feeling like I had no instructions or understanding of what was happening. After the second failed attempt, they abruptly gave up without explaining why they couldn't proceed, just leaving me there laying down, helpless. After, when I sat down with the doctor to ask what I might have been doing wrong, he offered only the barest of explanations. I was ready to try again, determined to have a successful procedure now that I finally had guidance on what to do. However, it seemed clear that the surgeon was not willing to continue as he had other people in line, likely because it was a Friday--apparently their designated LASIK day. Instead of treating me with the care and attention I needed, I felt like just another number, another patient to be rushed in and out. Which is the WORST feeling when talking about your eyes and vision. Very scary to trust this doctor who sees you as a number and a quick $5000 rather than someone with eyes and has been looking forward to this surgery for decades. This experience left me feeling completely disheartened and frustrated. I would not recommend 20/20 Institute to anyone who expects to be treated as a person rather than just another paying customer. If it makes people feel better too, I shopped around with 3-4 other practices and chose 20/20 because of Dr. Lanzo, but learned that he does not conduct the procedures and has ZERO pull or control over the procedures. So make sure you actually meet your surgeon and like them if you go to 20/20! Update: I had lasik with a different practice two weeks later, I was in and out of the operating room in 10 minutes with no issues at all and my eye sight is amazing! I am one week removed from my LASIK Surgery and couldn't be happier with the work done by Dr. Montgomery, as well as the friendliness/thoroughness of the staff, and the ease of booking and scheduling my appointments. I went in with 20/40 vision and came out with 20/15 vision the next day. (I was expecting a much longer recovery). The process consists of 5 steps: 1. 30 min virtual Consult. 2. 1 hour in person consult 3. Lasik surgery 4. 1 day post op. 5. One week post op. The staff made certain I was well informed of all risks and made certain that I felt comfortable with all their answers throughout the process. They also made sure to educate my girlfriend who was helping me through recovery. There is quite a bit info to remember and having a second set of ears listening makes the process much easier. An underrated selling point of 20/20 institute is that they let your loved ones have access to watch and video tape the entire process from a viewing room with a huge glass window with a tv screen showing a close up of what is happening with your eyes. It exemplifies the level of confidence the surgeon has. He is essentially letting your loved ones video tape the entire process. (If something were to ever go wrong you would have the entire thing on video). If I were to recommend Lasik to any family or friends, I would not hesitate to recommend 20/20 institute. I am now 2 weeks post op from my lasik surgery and everything went extremely well. The procedure was quick and low stress. My recovery was easy and I didn't have any complications. My post op appts at 24 hrs and 1 week were efficient and I received very good care from everyone from the front desk, med assistants, docs etc.. every step has been top notch and worth every penny. At 24 hours check in my vision was already at 20/25 and now it's 20/15. I wish that I had taken this step years ago! I was planning to get LASIK, but Dr. Danzo and Jacquelyn talked me out of it because I had thin corneas. They let me know ideally I would get ICL surgery, but, because of my astigmatism, it would be better to get toric ICL, which was not yet FDA-approved but available in Vancouver. I trusted their judgement and got toric ICL surgery in Vancouver - it has now been almost two years, and I could not be happier. I just got home from my optometrist and still have perfect 20/20 vision in both eyes. Dr. Danzo and his team are real stand-up people unlike any other LASIK institute I visited. Jacquelyn is a VP who really cares about her patients. Even though it was not in their best interests to advise me to go somewhere else for refractive surgery, that's what they did. Outstanding: The most important quality in a Lasik provider is its integrity. That is, that it furnish an accurate appraisal as to the likely results of Lasik in that specific patient's case. 20/20 Institute Lasik informed me I'd likely have discomfort if I obtained Lasik this, a second time after decades. To prove the point its staff sent me home with a contact lens that would replicate what I would experience with the Lasik procedure done. As they predicted, the experience was adverse. On 20/20 Institute's tacit advice, I did not have the procedure. This is the sort of Lasik outfit I want: one that is not out for revenue first but rather out for reputation first. This business has been top notch for me. My initial visit was welcoming and reassuring. They took their time in assessing whether I was a viable candidate for corrective surgery. Once that was determined, we went over my options and pricing. I was able to make an appointment that day for my next visit. About two weeks later, I had my procedure which took about an hour total (the actual surgery was 10 minutes). I am happy to report that I couldn't feel the laser as the work was being done. Please note I'm writing this review based on the process to schedule an appointment, not an in-person consultation or surgery. I also hope this is taken as constructive criticism for 20/20 to consider. I am now a few years into considering lasik and I was quite interested in 20/20. I first intended to make an in person appointment here in August 2020. They were at the time first doing phone consultations and I wasn't going to be able to go in-person anyway so I proceeded with the phone consultation and explained I wouldn't be able to go in person at that time even after the phone consultation. Now that I'm ready to go in person I requested a consultation and I received a call to discuss my needs. We spoke and at the end I was told I needed to provide a card number to be able to schedule the appointment. I wasn't at any point prior to the end of the 2nd call told about the need to provide a card number to which a fee would be charged in case I don't show up. I completely understand people's time is valuable as I was told by the person that called, but given it's advertised as a free consultation online, if they're going to request a card be on file then they should be upfront about that. Not wait until the end of 40 minutes to let you know about that. It's also uncommon as I haven't had to provide a card number for any other consultation that I've scheduled for lasik. I was told it's because they're a private practice, but I've scheduled a few other consultations with private practices and they do not have this requirement. Again, I do understand people's time is valuable and it's their practice, but if they're going to have this as their no show policy then they should have a secured form to fill out. In 2021, I should not have to give my card number out to someone over the phone. In order to even schedule an appointment you have to have a phone call first, which gives it somewhat of a personal touch, but scheduling online would make it easier to be able to fill out a form with card information. I'm not sure about others, but I personally don't feel comfortable giving my card number out in that way. The calls themselves were fine - they're polite and professional, and based on our first call willing to answer questions, which I did ask a ton. Just would've appreciated if they were more upfront and/or had secure policies in place. read more

I called 20/20 for a lasik consultation but they told me I had to schedule a 30 min virtual consultation to discuss cost prior an in- person consultation which is completely understandable considering we are in the middle of a world pandemic. My virtual consultation was scheduled yesterday (7/28 at 2:30PM) but no one ever called me. I find that to be extremely unprofessional. I was very interested in obtaining a consultation and possibly scheduling lasik surgery if eligible by August but seeing that this institute is unable to call me at the scheduled & confirmed time, they have just lost a valuable customer. read more

(somewhat long post but definitely worth it) There really isn't enough good things I could say about my experience. My fiance and I both went to get the free consultation at the end of May to discuss options, cost and see if we were good candidates. My fiance was approved to get the procedure but Dr Danzo wanted to make sure Dr Kruger (surgeon) or Dr Montgomery (Monte other surgeon) were ok with me getting LASIK or PRK since something was found on my eye. I ended up seeing Dr Kruger before my intended surgery date on June 19 (like 30 min before) and he requested I get a cell count on my eyes to make sure everything was ok and my eyes would heal properly. My fiance was able to get the procedure done that day as anticipated and it wasn't horrible. The staff, drs and step by step procedure was amazing. His eyes don't open wide so the suction was the only horrible part but otherwise he now has EAGLE eyes! My procedure didn't happen til 6 weeks later, July 28, due to scheduling conflicts. I ended up with Dr Monte because he felt more comfortable with my eye condition and scheduling. He said it was up to me to either choose LASIK or PRK. I ended up going with LASIK. I can't say how awesome it was and definitely worth the wait! I love the staff beyond words and Shannon is absolutely amazing. She definitely is an advocate for her clients. They don't push you to get your eyes done and explain everything in detail. There is a deposit required if you decide to go with the procedure. If you have ever wanted or thought about getting LASIK, go get a free consult and talk to the staff at 20/20. They definitely treat you like family and not another number. read more

This is the place to go. I have wanted Lasik for a long time but hesitated because I was somewhat afraid. I finally went for an initial appointment, and low and behold, I am NOT a candidate. My corneas are bulged so Lasik is not an option. The doctor and assistant spent time with me explaining the results of the tests. They examined my eyes for other issues even after I was not a candidate. Lasik would create future problems because of the shape of my eye. They were GREAT. Friend recommended, and now, I recommend them too. I had 20/15 vision the following day! Previously about 20/80 or nearish (-3.00). Just go for the consultation, but I warn you, you're not likely to leave without signing up for your appointment. The process was quick and painless (well you know). In fact the operation was a couple minutes per eye with a very manageable and only brief discomfort. Since, my eyes have been a little drier than normal, but that's been the only drawback. Oh and occasionally I forget and try to take the no-longer-existant glasses off before going to bed. The staff is warm and welcoming. They're great at reassuring and calming you down. I interviewed 5 centers that performed Lasik and 20/20 came out on top by miles. Their attentive nature in every interaction with me made all the difference. Every, and I mean every, person took time to say hello, answer my questions, and make me feel that my time and concerns were valid and worth exploring. They are genuine, caring, passionate, and truly involved in what they do. They were very honest, patient, and transparent - no gimmicks. I was borderline on being a good candidate for Lasik and they didn't beat around the bush, but were direct about the risks and concerns. 20/20 Institute is not cheap, but they produce great results and you get the high quality you you pay for. I want to point out that 20/20 is not the most expensive either. In fact, a neighboring (and popular) Lasik center charged more, but didn't even know what laser they used! YIKES! As for the procedure itself, it didn't last long (15 minutes-ish). When they use the laser to reshape your cornea, it omits a burnt smell. It is not strong, but if you have a sensitive sniffer like me, you will notice. The part I least enjoyed was when the machine needed to cut the flap. It feels like a shot glass is cupping they eye and then loads of pressure is put on the eye to hold it still. The pressure part wasn't bad - it was the device hitting my orbital bone that was painful. Remember me mentioning that folks are genuine and caring? One of the staff members held my hand and coached me on breathing through the pain. He genuinely cared and I really appreciated it! But boy, that part hurt! Afterwards, I ended up falling asleep on the drive home due to the 'happy' pill I received before the procedure. I ended up sleeping for 4 hours when I got home. It has been almost a month now, and I do have some side effects that, overtime, will go away. My eyes get tired a little bit more than they used to and my eyes will blur in the morning every other day, but eventually it dissipates as the day goes on. I have read that this is normal, but could take up to six months for my eyes to stabilize. Overall though, I am happy with the procedure and am glad I did it. If you are thinking about Lasik, I would recommend 20/20 Institute. You are in good hands! read more

So excited to have just finished LASIK with 20/20 Institute. The experience start to finish was fantastic. Their team is extremely professional and knowledgable. They spent a lot of time talking through the procedure, different options, what to expect, what recovery would be like, etc. I felt well informed and supported throughout. I never felt pressured or like I was getting a sales pitch which I really appreciated. Other places I went made me feel like a number in the queue or just pushing me to get a procedure without explaining the details. I just had my LASIK procedure yesterday, and I'm happy to say that one day later, I'm able to see my computer screen to type this lovely review! Overall, I had a tremendous experience! From beginning to end, the customer service and quality of care was on point! For those who are thinking about getting LASIK, I'd totally recommend that you choose 20/20 Institute (and that you don't wait)! Special kudos to Mark and team for the great customer service you provided! Also, special thanks to Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Danzo for the "better-than-perfect" vision treatment! For a more detailed review of my experience, see below. Consultation: When I walked in the door, the staff were very courteous and made me feel at home (coffee and treats in hand!). The consultation lasted for about 45 minutes, and 20/20 did a great job providing me with all the information I needed to consider whether LASIK is right for me. They provided me with the pricing for both eyes and let me sit around to ask any other questions I wanted. Throughout the whole process, I never felt pressured to make a decision, and the folks at 20/20 were candid about all the risks with the procedure. Obviously, not scary enough for me not to commit to get my eyes zapped :) Dilation: After I committed to a surgery date, they brought me in to get my eyes dilated to make sure all was well with my eyes. Similarly to the consultation, the staff I met were freakishly nice and welcoming. They walked me through the whole process, step-by-step, to make sure I understood what was going on. I usually grade my providers based on their ability to translate medical terms into easily, digestible content to help me - as a patient and consumer - understand what's going on. Overall, the dilation process was great, which made me even more excited to get the surgery. Surgery: From start-to-finish, the process took about 1.5 hours. Similarly to my previous encounters, the staff were really nice and comforting (even during the busyness of the holiday season!). The staff made sure I felt ready for the procedure and asked multiple times if I had any concerns. They were fairly transparent about how I would feel while under the laser which really helped set expectations. During the procedure, the staff in the room were great cheerleaders and made sure I felt as comfortable as possible with all the junk they put in my eye. 10 minutes later...I was done! Post-op: This morning, I drove myself to the office for my post-op check up (win!). I cannot rave enough how sweet the staff were, especially on Christmas Eve. I usually encounter a grinch or two when I'm off and about on Christmas Eve, but the folks at 20/20 were so peppy that it even made me happy to go shopping afterward for some last minute Christmas gifts. The first post-op appointment took about 10 minutes to make sure my flaps were nice and sealed. Pranced out the office with a wonderful experience, and I hope you will do the same! I had such a great experience and I can't emphasize enough how happy I am about their customer service and quality of care. I cannot say enough good things about 20/20 Institute! From the first phone call with Christine, I felt so comfortable and at ease. She was the sweetest person, and so knowledgeable about everything, and setting up a virtual consultation and in-person appointment was seamless! Then during my in person consultation, I met Shannon, who is an absolute angel. She did my initial exam, and walked me through the whole procedure. She spent probably an hour with me for that first appointment, and I was evaluated by Dr. Ofchinick to make sure I was a good candidate for Lasik. He was also so nice and patient and afterwards, I was so excited to set up my appointment for the actual procedure. I didn't even call any other places to compare prices or meet other doctors, because I was so comfortable! Not to mention, that their office is gorgeous and felt so clean and inviting! On the procedure day, everything went smoothly! I met with multiple people who prepared me for the surgery and everyone I talked to that day was also unbelievably nice, including the OR nurses, who made me feel super comfortable, even though I was definitely anxious about the procedure. The procedure itself probably took about 10 minutes total or maybe a little less, and even though I was definitely a little scared, Dr. Montgomery and the nurses talked me through the whole thing and it was over before I knew it. Their follow-up is also impeccable, as I had a one day, and one week appointment already set up before my surgery! The are always on time, and walking into the office is a happy experience because there is not one person there who doesn't make you feel welcome. Over the weekend, a couple days after the surgery, I had a tiny incident that was my own fault, and I called the on-call doctor, Dr. Danzo. He asked me if I wanted to be evaluated to make sure everything was okay, and said he would meet me within the hour at the clinic. I truly thought this was above and beyond in terms of patient care, and I was so impressed that he would open the clinic on a Sunday, just to evaluate me and put my mind at ease! Everything ended up being fine and it absolutely solidified that I picked the right place to do such an important surgery! I had a lot of anxiety, concerns, and questions heading into this process. What does recovery time look like? How often are there complications? And most importantly, what does it cost? From Day 1, going with 20/20 just felt right (and I'd looked at a number of other providers before). My first consultation to the day of my surgery was about two weeks, and I'd never felt more certain about making a large investment. And trust me, I had a ton of questions along the way and all of them were answered with aplomb. I don't think you'll find a place more professional and absolutely on it than these folks. read more

I had the surgery just over 30 hours ago and have nothing but good things to say about every staff member that I've encountered/spoken too. The receptionist who originally scheduled me for the consult, Jacquelyn, Shannon, Dr. Danzo, Dr. Montgomery and the woman who walked me through the procedure right beforehand whose name is escaping me now (she was awesome and I only forget her name because I was so nervous when I met her right before surgery!) were all extremely personable and comfortable to work with. First things first, they won't do the surgery unless you're qualified and they figure that out during a 90 minute consult. Their results are guaranteed*, and they don't want anyone to be wasting their money on each other. It's a full range of tests and includes dilating your eyes, which is never fun, but necessary to determine if you're a candidate. One of my eyes was flagged for dryness, so I was able to schedule the surgery two weeks out, but had to follow their regiment for "tears" several times/day everyday and had to be checked the day before the surgery to ensure the problem had resolved. Luckily I was good to go... I was totally freaked out about having the surgery done, but I knew it'd be fine so I went on ahead with it anyway. They do give you a sedative if you want it, which I'd hoped would calm me pre-op, but it didn't do anything to help me before surgery, only after to help sleep. A fantastic young lady (who's name escaped me earlier in my review) took me into an office and walked me through what I would experience during the surgery, despite my really not wanting to know. I'm glad that she did though, because it's kind of intense, and it's good to know what's coming next, how long things are going to last, etc. The most uncomfortable part is for the 20 seconds that they have the suction on your eye; that part hurts on the bone around your eye, not the eye itself. They'll tell you 20 seconds, 15, 10, 5... You''ll hear them say, "flap complete", and the doc will continue his business. I had a quick second that the numbing drops wore out and I flinched from a pain in my eye, but Dr. Montgomery noticed right away, asked if I felt pain, applied more drops, and everything was fine after that. They did extra drops on me during that part on the second eye and there weren't any other problems. I had quite a bit more pain in one eye than the other at first, but going back to sleep and taking naps made it better and better. My follow up post-op appointment was less than 24 hours after the surgery and I safely drove myself there/back. I read the chart better than with my glasses, so I think I am 20/15? The doctor said he was impressed that my vision is already so good because I had pretty bad astigmatism. I also drove myself to a friend's house this evening for dinner in the dark and could see fine. There is a little haloing and I definitely had trouble adjusting between near and short sidedness... such as looking at the car in front of me and looking at what the map was telling me to do on the dock 2 feet away. However, like I said at the beginning of this review...my surgery was about 32 hours ago! I expect my eyes will adjust and heal and get better. I'm thankful I did it. My biggest concern at this point is being able to keep track of my new sunglasses :) read more

From the first greeting at the first appointment, to the follow-up visits, the staff and providers are outstanding. They did such a thorough explanation of the process, the procedure, the after care, that I had almost every question answered before I even had an opportunity to ask. Of particular note, Jaquelyne (the person who walked me through the details), Sadie (the wonderful patient concierge) and Shannon (another person who helped me with exams) were fantastic. I would highly recommend choosing 20/20 LASIK. But why would you go anywhere else? I am so happy with the results from my lasik eye surgery! I wanted to wait to post a review until my one year follow up appointment, just in case. When I went in initially, I was 20/(greater than)400 (nearly blind) and today I am at 20/15!!! From start to finish, including today's appointment, I have received nothing but the most friendly, genuine and responsive care. Being very nervous about risking lasers shooting into my eyes, I wanted to research as much as I could about pricing, results, and supportive staff. 20/20 Institute provides a free consultation where they patiently answered all of my questions I had found through the internet and then provided me with extra information that made me even more confident. They offered zero interest financing and even gave me a discount for being a teacher! I met with them on a Wednesday at the Downtown office and then that Friday I was signed up for the procedure at the DTC office. The surgery was quick and easy and I felt very at ease going in as they had prepared me with exactly what to expect. Within minutes and a pain free experience, I was ready to head home and could recognize and wave goodbye to the staff on my way out. I drove myself to the follow up appointment the next day and have been loving the ease of zero contacts and glasses ever since, especially in situations like swimming in the ocean and watching movies before bed. I got my Lasik done over a year ago and am so glad I did. I was really nervous to have a laser in my eyes, but it was over and done within 20 or so minutes. From beginning to end, the staff and office atmosphere made me comfortable and confident in my choice. They explained the entire process in the consult, answered all my questions, worked with my finances, and worked with my schedule. Amazing service! Although I didn't end up having lasik, advised by Dr. Danzo who was obviously more concerned over my wellbeing than making another buck. It started with Christine, and a wonderful phone conversation, who set up an appointment the following morning at the 17th St location. When I arrived early, I was meet with wonderful smiles and greetings. I was taken in early to meet with Jacqueline (I hope I spelled her name correctly) who went over in detail my eye history. Jacquline then went through all the eye test to find out if I was a candidate. To make a long story short, she could only get me to 20/25 due to past lasik surgery and eye development. Dr Danzo then came in and went over everything again to make sure he was on same page. Dr Danzo then tried to get me to 20/20, but came up with same results, again due to my eye development from the past. At the end of the "free" consultation and over an hour spent, it was determined that lasik again would not be in my best interest. Dr Danzo went above and beyond at this point suggesting different types of contacts with new technology that could possible could get me all the way to 20/20. He even took the next step, looking up Dr's in the area that worked with this new technology, so that he could call and get a feel of who would be best for my circumstance. Even Jacqueline began searching online. I was giving some names and told that Dr Danzo or Jacquline would call me back after they had spoken with the Dr's they found. This whole experience was just amazing! The customer service was beyond anything I have experienced in awhile. Its something special when after a free consulation then they still continue to try and help resolve my eyes knowing that they have nothing to gain. I went here for a consultation for LASIK. The team was super nice, the space is outstanding, technology is top notch. I ended up going with another spot (TLC) as 20/20 didn't mention that I was likely best suited for PRK vs LASIK. Both other spots mentioned this. 20/20 Institute gave me a great experience. I had the procedure on a Friday night at 5pm and when I woke up the next morning I could see WITHOUT my glasses or contacts!!!! Now, Sunday of the same week, it only feels as though I am wearing contacts and they are dry but it is getting better hour by hour. I checked 4 other placed in the Denver metro area and a couple other locations nationwide. I went with 20/20 due to the customer service, care, staff friendliness and professionalism. There were many others that were cheaper but I did not feel [personal opinion] they offered the same quality of service as 20/20 Institute. read more

I was very nervous to get Lasik done, but one Saturday morning I woke up and just got so fed up with wearing glasses for many years, and all their inconveniences, that I decided the risk was worth the reward. I tried contacts, but hated them. Lasik became my only option, and I decided was going to find the best doctors, regardless of the price, and get things done right. The entire process was easy, and to be honest, the surgery itself was basically painless. Recovery was easy and relatively painless as well. For many people, including myself, Lasik is a super fast procedure with a simple recovery process, at least Lasik the way the 20/20 Institute does it. Every who works at 20/20 is kind and easy to deal with. The establishment exudes professionalism and courtesy. Seeing the dozens of happy patients coming out of the operating area on a Friday also gave me great confidence that my surgery would go well. I went from being able to hardly see anything without glasses on to be able to see 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other (the latter had a rather severe astigmatism, so I'm extremely satisfied with getting to 20/20 in that eye). I should have gone to the 20/20 Institute years ago. If I ever needed glasses again years down the road, I wouldn't hesitate to return to them and get things fixed again. Glasses aren't worth the extreme hassle and limits they put on your life. Contacts aren't worth the inconvenience. I can workout easily without worrying about foggy glasses, I have a wider field of vision thanks to not having any frames on my face, I don't worry about any glare on glasses when watching a movie or playing a video game, and I can buy any sunglasses so want without paying and waiting for prescription frames, only to lose them on the bottom of a river or at Coors Field someday. I went through the entire processes during the COVID pandemic, and the procedures The Institute put in place to deal with it were reasonable, effective and made me feel totally safe. read more

I am happy to make this 5-star review for the 20/20 Institute. When I was researching businesses to perform my LASIK procedure, I looked into several companies. Some whose prices were lower than 20/20 and others whose rates were higher. I visited and had consultations with several of these providers and was able to experience a wide range of experiences. These experiences that allow me to say 20/20 Institute is the best there is. For my first consultation, both receptionists got up from their desks to greet me and offer me a refreshment. I did not wait long before Elizabeth, my consultant, came to meet me in the lobby and begin the examination. During my review, she even told me that I should make sure to look at other vendors to ensure I saw the difference in quality and experience. After I decided to have 20/20 perform my LASIK, they were accommodating and organized. I came down sick the day of my LASIK and, for my safety, they insisted on rescheduling it when I was better. As for the LASIK itself, the whole procedure took about ten minutes. There was no pain and a little pressure during the process. When my LASIK was complete, I was able to see the ceiling clearly! It has now been one week since my LASIK, and I see 20/15, with no pain and few symptoms, besides the dry eyes. 20/20 has been amazing, from Dr. Danzo and Elizabeth to the rest of the staff. I had an amazing experience at the 20/20 Institute! The staff and doctors made me feel so comfortable and welcomed from the second I walked in the door to post-surgery follow-up appointments. After having such bad vision for so many years, I could not believe it when I stood up from my lasik procedure and could see - I almost cried!
