Hello. If you are reading this you are in the grave position that we are [hopefully soon we can say 'were']... having to research tax resolution companies. My husband and I both lost our jobs in the healthcare medical risk industry due to the Affordable Care Act [something you never hear the media talk about] and as a result our company gave us a nice retention bonus. Well, needless to say we received 53% of the bonus and had to pay taxes on other 47% which put us in a dyer tax situation and thus we owe the IRS about 25,000 to date. I am a client of 20/20 tax resolution from Alaska . I had a number of unfiled taxes from over 10 years ago and the irs was claiming I owed them almost 1 million dollars. I contacted 20/20 by way of a friend that they had helped settle there taxes. They assisted me In filling my taxes properly with recommended accountants and were able to get my tax liability to 30% of what the irs was stating. Came to 20/20 with a tough case which I made several attempts to resolve via Offer in Comprise (OIC) without success. They created a plan which took time but produced a solid result. These cases are very difficult to resolve and often the process does not conform to logic... doesn't matter how smart you are. You need to hire these guys! Their fees were fair and in comparison to the result, a fraction of the liability. After accrued interest my savings was substantial... paying less than 10 percent of the amount owed. When I ask for their information the caller Adam didn't seem to know the address for the office , could only give me a 888 phone number and that he was calling from outside Colorado . But yet he was certain that the IRS had filed a Levy - Lein against me. When I pressed for more information on this 2020 company he was calling for He just Hung up.
