ITS FREAKING PHENOMENAL! Each exhibit is well thought out and they are all awesome photo ops. We had a blast! A year later I took my 17-year-old son. The price went down but also some of the exhibits were gone. I was informed that they were building something else in place of, but was disappointed because a couple of my favorite exhibits were now missing. the rain room was awesome, but it's gone now. I think they should bring it back because walking through a rainstorm and not getting a single drop of rain on you is mind blowing. The fact that I can bring both of my children with huge age gaps and interests and both of them found this place to be interesting,fun and unforgettable is really all that has to be said.

Wunderlich farm is rich in history, our neighborhood being heavily influenced on German families is nice to learn where the names of our local schools come from, streets, and local shops. The friendly staff teaches visitors about how it was growing up as an early settler though out NW Houston raising animals with their daily chores and we even experienced doing manual labor work ourselves to appreciate where we are now with advances in technology. I would definitely recommend to take a walk into our local history's past and bond with your family to a place so rich in stories and tales to share even throughout these years.

The Brazosport Museum of Natural Science is located inside a complex that houses two performing art…read moretheaters, a small gallery of local artists' work, an art league work room, and the museum. There is also a planetarium! The complex is part of the college, but is set far from the main college area and has its own parking. At first the museum really scared me by its 1970's look, but it's actually quite good for its size. It has a huge shell collection, as well as some minerals and other things mentioned on its website. Some of the displays had some great information on them. There is a weaver bird nest with information and graphics on how the nest is built step by step. There is a display of Texas shells along with models of what the organisms look like when they are alive and inhabiting the shells. There is a small dark room in the back that has minerals with a timed display of UV light showing their fluorescent properties. There is a display of regular colored shells and their albino counterparts. Once I got past the very old feel to the place, I was impressed. Overall, I think the museum is worth the trip from Houston. We visited this museum and Sea Center Texas in the same day. Both are free and really interesting and educational.

It wasn't an interactive experience for the kids - there wasn't any guidance at all from the staff. Being able to get all of the photos for free with the barcode was a sweet deal and having the photo booths in each room was the best part!

Like for instance I've been to places where you press a button and the confetti drops down. For this, you have to actually throw the confetti up yourself. Good luck trying to figure this out with kids if you're looking for a good photo. They were also a bit underwhelmed with it. They loved the music room, the light bright room, and the balloon room. Those cones were cute and delicious. I purchased the photo package. It really isn't necessary as you get to download the photos from a QR code you use when snapping the pics.
