Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area looking for some local goodies as Christmas presents and made our way into Hip & Humble. The outside is very inviting-I love the color of the house-turned-retail building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mabe, the beautiful resident dog. She happily sniffed us, let us pet her and then she went back to her duties of wandering the store. Any place that has a dog is A-OK in my book! Each item in the shop appears to have been carefully curated to be here. Nothing seems out of place or odd. I love every item and how cohesive everything feels. Up front, you'll find an assortment of knick-knacks, home goods, soaps & lotions, etc. Toward the back is a room full of unique women's clothing and accessories. The owner visited with us briefly and we felt very welcome to be there. It's a fun atmosphere with adorable items. I look forward to returning for additional gift items in the future.

Sure, I still agree that things are overpriced but I could spend quite a while browsing Hip & Humble. They have unique stuff and cute stuff. They have waterbottles, small clothing items, all kinds of knick knacks that make perfect gifts. I really think Hip & Humble stands out from the other "gas station" type stores in the area. It has a completely different feel to it. I just feel like this place is a lot more my style. While I love all the good concessions you can get elsewhere, I enjoy the one-of-a-kind products that Hip & Humble offers.

It's not like I've waited until February to bring something back. Koo De Ker should mark on their labels their return policy on gifts! As I left I said, "I guess I won't be back, but you don't even care". Her response was "no I don't". I get it! It's a small boutique store but SERIOUSLY!
