Tried 212 Pizza recently. The pepperoni pizza was solid--crispy crust, good amount of cheese, and flavorful pepperoni. The spaghetti and meatball was just okay. The sauce was decent, but the meatball was a bit too hard and could've used more seasoning. On the bright side, they had a great deal on a bottle of wine, which made the meal feel like a good value overall. Worth a visit if you're craving pizza and a budget-friendly wine night. read more

A wonderful woman took me on a date to this great place. I had never heard of it but she lives in Castle Rock and grabs a pie once a week or so. The building is attractive, clean and well maintained. The parking is safe and in close. The staff were friendly, efficient and chatty. We were a female couple on a romantic date and they treated us like they treated everyone else. My date and I both felt very comfortable inside this business. The pizza was hot, fresh and made just as I ordered it. The crust is incredible and really made the pizza even better. The beer was cold and there are heat choices. In really enjoyed this pizza place and I hope this beautiful woman takes me there again. read more

Best vegan pizza in Castle Rock! (Perhaps the only vegan pizza in Castle Rock, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a perfectly delicious pizza.) And they had some decent brews on tap as well. Our kind and friendly wait-person knew the menu very well, and helped us select a hand-tossed crust with vegan options for sauce and cheese. They also brought markers and a coloring page for my toddler, who really enjoyed making a purple pizza. The seating area is small but full of natural light, and it looks like they have a nice big patio for warmer weather. The large pizza was large enough that we had to bring a few slices home! There are a lot of pizzerias in Castle Rock. I hadn't tried this one and when dinner plans went awry, he suggested this restaurant. We ordered take out and the price was a little higher than I expected. But he wanted to eat this so we went ahead with the order. Went to pick up the pizza at appointed time. The pizza was cold. Appeared to have been sitting out for a bit more than the time quoted. The Canadian bacon seemed to have been bacon bits. The sauce is very sweet - not something I'm fond of. Love the pizza. Scheduled delivery for 6:15 during the Super Bowl. Their delivery service through Toast doesn't give updates and showed the pizza coming around 5:45. It actually came at 6, which was a little unexpected but no big deal. Pizza wasn't particularly hot, so I'm not sure how many other deliveries had taken place first. Nothing a little microwave nuking couldn't handle. Like usual these days, my wife and I split a Veggie Monster, which is still wonderful. The 1st review shows a supreme leader pizza. The 2nd picture shows a close-up of the same Supreme Leader, with "generous toppings". That review was "over 7 years ago". Unfortunately, our Supreme Leader was barely dusted with sausage, & the other toppings were sparse. Also, the parking lot situation certainly hasn't improved since it was Niccolo's, & neither has the pizza, despite a 66-100% price increase, but then that's everywhere, post-pandemic. read more

The place smelled great inside...my hopes got higher. The staff was very nice, and my pizzas were ready on time. They smelled great on the way home. The pizza looked great, and there was a generous amount of cheese and toppings. At this point you are probably wondering why this is a two star review; when everything has been great. The pizza tastes mediocre at best. The crust has no crispness, it just sort of like blah bread...like from a crappy school lunch, or that you'd get at some tourist trap. read more

I visited 212 Pizza Company on a Sunday. It wasn't that crowded. This establishment has the type of service where you place you order with a staff person at the ordering area, they give you a number and you seat yourself in the dining area. The atmosphere is laid back, dining area is clean and service is good. Staff is polite as well. I ordered a craft beer on tap, the Supreme Leader pizza and a garden salad. Beer always served first and good. The salad came next. Veggies we're fresh and salad was really good. Pizza came next, as I finished up the salad. I was very impressed with the pizza. Crust wasn't burned nor hard to bite into. I had some pieces of pizza leftover. Overall, I was impressed with my dining experience. I would love to return for another Sunday dinner. I discovered 212 Pizza after the Mexican restaurant I had planned to go for lunch on Sunday was closed. The server was very polite and efficient. My friend and I ordered a half and half pizza which they were more than happy to accommodate. The pizza had good fresh ingredients and was tasty. The restaurant was nicely appointed and comfortable. We were heading to Castle Rock, preparing to go to our usual standbys (Hideaway or Scileppi's, maybe Sabrosura), when I found a mention of 212 here on Yelp. So we decided to try it. It's a small place, in a strip mall near the outlets. We had the Caesar salad to start. It was good, with crisp lettuce and a tangy dressing. The pizza menu is pretty awesome, with some very creative pizzas. It was a tough choice! There are several types of crust offered: tossed, thin, gluten-free, and cauliflower. I had a Supreme on the cauliflower crust, which I highly recommend. It was LOADED and the crust was thin, crispy, and very good. BF had half cheese/half pepperoni on a thin crust. This was a VERY thin crust, indeed. More like a cracker crust, almost, but still different. It bore NO resemblance to a NY pizza. Possibly the "tossed" pizza is more chewy and NY-like. But the ones we saw delivered to other patrons had a thicker crust than we like. The flavor, and the balance of cheese/sauce, were VERY good. Service was GREAT. It's a very busy place, even at 4pm on Sunday. They do a brisk take-out business, so while the salad came very promptly, there was a bit of a wait for the pizzas. They have cards and games on a table to help pass the time :) We'll be back :) While the thin crust wasn't "real" NY pizza, we'll give the tossed pizza a try. There are only three pastas, but they have sandwiches, too. This definitely has a "local hangout" vibe. Definitely not trendy, hipster, or cool. But for a simple lunch or dinner, it's a nice, casual atmosphere. And the variety of pizzas that they offer is unusual without being strange. And I grew up in NY, where they put ziti on pizza! The staff is always friendly although I have had a couple times I have to wait a bit extra when they were really busy. Overall pretty good though. The staff was friendly. The pizza is good but definitely overpriced. We ordered online and both the Cheese Bread and Avalanche did not look even close to what was pictured. The cheese bread had hardly any cheese and several pieces had no cheese. Avalanche was thin crust and has a good flavor. The 4H we got hand tossed and was good and did look as pictured. The cheese bread if what we got is the norm we will definitely not be ordering again. All in all decent pizza but for the three items we ordered was over $70 read more

This is a review I hate to post but feel I need to. I genuinely think this is the best pizza around but they totally screwed me. Not only did they leave me without dinner they took my $40 and I never got the pizza OR a refund. They said it was delivered and we never saw it. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. *** So I am updating this review because BOTH the owners cared enough to contact me and make this right. They obviously had NO idea we had this issue. One bite, everyone knows the rules. Family owned, I know this because they work all day every day. I drive by 5 pizza places to get to 212. The dough is perfectly balance between crunch and soft, flavorful sauce and the Toppings cannot get any more fresh. I honestly don't know a better pizza place, yeah there are more Italian, yeah there are more New York style, but when I want a solid pizza, this is where I go. I don't want to tell anyone about this place, so I can still walk in and not wait for a table, but they work too hard to go unnoticed. Great reward plan too. Portnoy would only give it an 8.5 because of his need for undercarriage and crisp, but I put it as my top choice for pies. read more

Came back after a year to try the food again. Once again the kids food was good, spaghetti and meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. My wife and I ordered the Margherita pizza and while eating the first slice something seemed a bit off but we were both hungry. As I was grabbing a second slice I looked a bit closer and noticed sections of the crust were thicker than others like the dough was rolled evenly. This meant that the crust wasn't cooked evenly as well and sections of it were still raw. Waitress eventually came back by and asked if everything was good with the meal. Pointed out the raw dough, she apologized and asked if we wanted something else. We didn't have time to wait for another order so she did take it off the bill While the service was good can't recommend coming her after our last two experiences with poor food quality. read more

Based on Yelp reviews, we decided to try and we're glad we did! Staff were friendly and attentive, place was busy (mostly with take out orders) but our food came out fast and with a smile. Food was super yummy too. Best part is 212 is locally owned by Colorado natives and they use as much local products as possible, love that! A fun bonus: they have some family friendly games to play with each other while you wait and/or enjoy your food...hubby and I played trivia throughout our meal.
