We stopped here on a Sunday night for a quick dinner. The place is small with a comfy sports bar vibe. We were one of two or three tables and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy dinner. Our waitress was really sweet and she was very attentive. I wouldn't have minded if she offered to refill our drinks but she never offered. We opted for the mozzarella sticks and Jac's cheese bread appetizers. While the cheese bread was fantastic the mozzarella sticks were a real disappointment. The breading on the mozzarella sticks was a bit odd tasting and almost tasted stale as if they were frozen or if they had been made a while ago and just reheated. My husband said his pepperoni and ground beef pizza was very good. My Italian chef salad was very fresh and full of flavor - no soggy lettuce or lack of toppings here. We ran out of room for dessert but hope to be back soon to enjoy more items from the menu. Don't miss the daily specials menu like we did - there are several options that aren't listed on the regular menu. Overall we had a great experience and we hope to be back soon to support this great small business.

We tried Jac's pizza for the first time and loved it! It is our favorite pizza in Elizabeth by far! The staff were amazing and attentive. The restaurant has a small town feel and is decorated an eclectic baseball theme. It felt like an old school pizza place I'd grow up going to. We look forward to bringing our family here for years to come!

I loooovvvvveeeddd the apple pie pizza, definitely leave room for dessert! My husband and I love the pizza there, any that we have tried have been a hit! The ambience is very nice and cozy, everyone there is nice and very welcoming. Go support this pizza place for sure! They also have great appetizers!

Staff is rude. Food was completely wrong but good. All eyes on me when we walked in there which felt uneasy.

Not much for ambiance. Baseball themed. Small town, friendly. Good pizza. Definitely consider for take out.

For dessert, I've only had their creme brûlée; but again, YUMMY. Drinks = They have a good variety of soda, beer, wine, italian sodas, etc. Service = The waiters are always friendly and accommodating. Extra condiments on request! :) The front desk is sometimes not 100% friendly, but that's probably because they're so BUSY. Ambience = The church side has awesome ambience, although it feels a tad cramped. But it's a pretty cool setting for an italian restaurant. The "pizza parlor" side feels more spacious but also more like a typical pizza restaurant. It's fine. Location/parking = Location's near downtown but has plenty of parking down the street. They are basically kings on their block -- not really any other parking competition nearby.

What a unique restaurant... inside a restored 1888 stone church. They kept the original stained glass windows, the choir loft & the confessional booth making this one of the most interesting restaurants. The dining area was cozy - not many tables & chairs. Our table was too small for four adults with bread, apps & dinner plates. However, our server was great, very attentive. Always near to clear plates, friendly & fast service. We started with bread & Italian salsa. The bread was good but the salsa was even better. It was fantastic & full of flavor. Next, for apps we had the Meatballs & Fried Calamari. The meatballs needed more seasoning & the sauce was bland. The calamari was rubbery & chewy. The Lemon Aioli that came with it was tasty. Our entrees were the Chicken Parm & the Crab Stuffed Shrimp with Linguine & Sauce. The portion sizes were big. The chicken was prepared nicely & was tender. The sauce unfortunately was bland. Same with the shrimp dish, it needed more seasoning, I didn't taste the crab & the lemon butter sauce had too much garlic for me. Perhaps our meal was a one off. Their menu is extensive & I will give them another try...the Lobster Ravioli sounds good. Note, on the other side of the restaurant is a pizzeria, called Slice Works, with a dining room & outdoor patio. I will try this as well.

The owners are actively involved in the community and consistently give back, especially by supporting local youth organizations and fundraisers. It's always nice to support a business that invests in the community it serves. Beyond that, the food is excellent. The menu offers a great selection of Italian favorites, from delicious pasta dishes to plenty of other options, and everything we've tried has been consistently flavorful and well prepared. They've expanded the restaurant, so there's much more seating than there used to be, and on a beautiful Colorado evening, the patio is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is always great. The service is consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. This is one of those local restaurants that keeps us coming back, and it's an easy recommendation for anyone looking for great Italian food and outstanding hospitality.

In addition to dining in, we have also used them to cater multiple events. Guests consistently rave about their food.

We also saw that they had an option we had never seen before for the three dipping sauces rather than just alfredo for the bread sticks. The server was great. She was on top of everything and we felt comfortable. I hope she quits soon and finds a better restaurant. We were looking forward to a crusty piping hot Italian bread. Instead we were totally disappointed to receive 3 or 4 refrigerator cold slices of dense bread with a some kind of concoction called butter . We couldn't spread that on it. None would work together. The fried zucchini and calamari was beautiful but the calamari was overcooked and way too chewy. Delicious marinara sauce...for our zucchini. We passed on the calamari. My caprese salad was a regular tomato with 4 leaves of basil and and abundant arugula and hardly any dressing! The cheese was great. The soup of the day was called clam chowder. Again the tiniest of clams were over cooked and it was pure flavorless milk . Terrible. My husband order a beautifully described seafood pasta platter from the big menu and only the 3 shrimps in it were great. Huge serving. The rest I think it was reheated and lacked of flavor. I ordered lobster ravioli with fear. It was tasty so I shared a piece with my husband. He almost broke a tooth! It had shells and not a tiny piece! Call us sadomasochists but I ordered a pavlova -because of all of the pre wrapped unappealing desserts on a refrigerator display-, Pavlova is not Italian but is my favorite . I'm a baker and a cook, I know about flavor , spices and when food is fresh. I was extremely curious about a dulce de leche filled pavlova! Too much of a good thing is too much but the store bought meringue and dulce de leche from a jar were satisfying. The owner was more interested in serving her -probably- regular clientele, than checking on us. I'm bewildered at the fact that some people would give almost 5 stars to this restaurant. I'm more appalled that it's called Italian. The chef mother must be turning in her grave. The menu is written beautifully but definitely the food doesn't live up to the description. None of the food was picture worthy . Chef Natalia Fragapane should travel back to Italy and refresh her taste buds or have a meal at Maggiano's or any Michelin Star Italian restaurant. Stop refrigerating and reheating. Better : call chef Ramses to save this restaurant or run a bar. Please do.
