We agreed on a price for drop of new pex lines, cap off old lines, and install a new hot water heater. He told me up front they had a big job lined up and would do everything he could to fit me in. It took some back and forth and finally Friday he was able to get his guy out there and showed up himself to inspect. I don't remember the plumbers name who did the install but he did a great job and it pretty much took him all day. I don't envy him for having to drop lines in an extremely small spaces attic. He even cleaned up the connection in the garage that was honestly not the best originally. He also helped me diagnose an issue I had under my kitchen sink and based on what he told me I have not had a leak anymore. I will say the communication and delays were frustrating. Was I irritated yes. However, Josh explained it to me and stayed in constant contact via text. I feel like he made up for the issue by explain it to me and keeping in touch. The only small issue I had was the mess left behind from where they cut into the sheet rock. However I didn't hire a cleaning service I hired a plumber. For me this was like a 2 out of 10 issue but for some people that would be a 10/10 issue. Overall I would recommend him. I think he charged a fair price and did quality work. I can only speak to the quality of work I saw by the plumber who did our scope of work but it was just as well done as the commercial work I have had done at many many buildings that I have overseen.

I told them that I couldn't be at the house until 11am so they said they would give me a 30 minute warning call before they came and it would be after 12pm. I got a call at 11am and they asked if they could come over a little early. They arrived promptly and within a couple of hours had it fixed and charged a reasonable charge for the work they had done. I would recommend Four Star to anyone who wants prompt and reliable plumbing services.

Through the years they have stood behind their work. The one time there was an issue they promptly returned to my home and repaired the issue at no charge of course. I called and text Ray several times and explain the issue that the leak is active. He said he would come out again if the work was approved by the home warranty. Home warranty approved but Ray refused to return to fix the issue. What I don't understand is why Ray doesn't guarantee the repair when he was paid to inspect and complete the service? and the issue wasn't fix but slightly worse. Ray - you should either return the payment or perform the service you were paid for. I have the maintenance request plus pictures - if proof are needed.

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.
