I used Will for more than 15 years and was always happy with the service. I had windows cleaned this past week. After the work was complete, I received a very lengthy text explaining why it was not fair that he had been charging me so little (the first I had heard of this concern), so he increased my rate by 58% AFTER the work was complete. Needless to say, I did not pay the increase and I severed my lengthy relationship with Will Davis. I am not that price sensitive, but I am extremely slimy-usiness-practices sensitive. We did not have a good experience with this company. Definitely unprofessional. Unless you want half your windows cleaned, only for them to ask for more money before they finish the job, then I wouldn't use this company! There are several other window cleaning companies that charge a lot less for the same result without excuses. [NOTE: This is not one of those "you can't please everyone situations." If you want a more detailed explanation see below.] We went off recommendations and good reviews on Facebook, and contacted them to clean the windows in a house we were moving into. I explained that the house had old windows and sat empty for 10+ yrs and the windows were in rough shape. I even advised him that they would need razor bladed because they had tape and random stuff stuck on them. I also gave him the total count of all the windows (which I had from a quote to replace ALL of them). Before even seeing the windows, Will started right off by saying he wasn't sure if they would be able to get them completely clean because of the age of the windows and that using a blade risked scratches. I told him I understood and I wanted a quote. We talked at length about the process and the average cost of cleaning windows in that kind of shape. After coming to the house, Will asked if I was joking about having the windows cleaned because they were in such rough shape. I said I still wanted them cleaned so I could see how bad they are (meaning I wanted to see how much haze was between the glass). After agreeing to the price, Will said he would send out his "crew" and that he would come out as well because he wanted to see how they turned out. When I asked to schedule the cleaning they were about 2 weeks out. Will never offered to come back to look at the windows again to make sure his estimate was accurate. In the meantime, we ended up having 13+ windows replaced (9 by 1 company and 4 by someone Will recommended!!) We moved everything away from all the windows and left our extra large ladder setup next to our 2 story windows to help save time. Day of cleaning ONE guy shows up and immediately says "these windows look different than what I expected." (Funny since this guy was never here. I can only assume Will sent him pictures). Will does not show up. Part way through the interior, Will calls me and says that he didn't include all the windows in his estimate (even though I gave him the total number including EVERY window) his guy tells him the windows are in too rough shape and they want to charge another $100 (on top of the $625 they were already charging)! After all the conversations about how bad the windows are, that they need razor bladed, and how many there are?! Not to mention we just replaced glass and now have brand new glass in multiple windows. Now he wants more money? He had every opportunity to inspect the windows at the inspection, and after I confirmed I wanted them cleaned. When he asked for more money he said he went off his "count" but proceeded to tell me he didn't count all the windows because he didn't "walk around the whole house." This is after he explained in LENGTH that the average window cleaning is $4 to 6 and that ours would be closer to $9 inside/out. Funny....because the number of windows I told him times $9 is still LESS than his original quote of $625, which suggests he did use my count to estimate the cost. Who wouldn't use my # which would be much higher given that he count them all? Definitely sounds like poor excuses. Instead, I'm guessing he sent random pictures to his "crew"/guy who likely under bid the job. He was actually surprised I was upset. I was aware, and fine, with the fact the windows wouldn't come out completely clean. What I don't appreciate is Will calling to tell me he didn't include some of the windows in our quote and he didn't expect them to be in such rough shape. Both of which are untrue. After all the conversations, after the inspection, after the opportunity to reinspect? Halfway through the job they want more money. Not the kind of people we want to do business with. read more

Found Windows by Will through our neighborhood community board in Lantana. Submitted a request online and received a quick response for a quote on interior and exterior window washing. Will was extremely responsive to all of my inquiries as I've never had any window cleaning done....ever! If you're going through the trouble to get windows washed, may as well get both the interior and exterior done. Don't be cheap by only doing the exterior. All dirt can be seen. Due to mother nature and threats of rain - Will was so flexible with watching the 10-day forecast and moving the date due to rain. We were so excited when the day for cleaning came and there was no rain in the near future. Josh on his team came out and did a fine job, per my husband! We have a 2-story and he was very detailed and ensured quality throughout the whole process! What an awesome job! The windows were so clean that I asked my husband what took us so long in getting this done! We will definitely use Windows by Will again and would gladly refer anyone we know who wants to get their windows cleaned. Well work the money! Great job Will and Josh!!!! read more

I've reviewed Windows by Will before, but they just made their spring appearance, and I am delighted all over again! Will has a great work ethic, and his team is in lock step with him on this. They arrived on time, did a WONDERFUL job inside and out, are reasonably priced, and service-oriented.
