Do NOT waste your money!!! I went to this salon for the first time. I scheduled an appointment for balayage and haircut I was a little scared when I saw my stylist Nevaeh for the first time because she's 19 but gave her a shot. I came in with dark brown hair. I told her my roots were growing in so my ends were darker than my roots because they grab color whenI try to color my white hair at home. I needed this fixed told her This is the first time I see a stylist since my hair grew back from Chemo and Im going on Vacation in a week. She was very nice and chatty made me feel comfortable. I Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she agreed it was beautiful and doable to hide my white hair. It was a cool brown with balayage in front to hide the gray. She said, No problem Might not get me that light in the front on first try Which I understood. But expected same style at least. .., She proceded to do the high lights after we chatted a while and I kept showing her the pic to please make sure It same style because it was just color blending in the front of face to hide my white hair with an even cool brown thru the rest of hair. When she was done with foil, I asked when she was going to color my dark hair? She said, I thought u just wanted highlights??! Now I'm freaking out... is not Balayage this is highlights from the 80's all over my head and she didn't touch my uneven color hair. I saw she got upset her attitude changed like she was annoyed and said that was a different service. I was confused because I SHOWED HER THE PICTURE. And we agreed. So I was so confused. she finally said she could add a lil color to the top to blend But for some reason only the top of my head. I ended up with black ends with green highlights and redish brown on top with coper highlights. It was a disaster. AND I still had all the white hair showing. She never touched my sides!!!! Which was my reason for going!!. I had all kinds of colors thru my hair. Left worst than before!!! She scheduled me for a follow up to fix hair in three weeks after my vacation but I went back next day and asked if we could fix sooner since I had a vacation coming up and my white hair still showed. Maybe a toner? Well... all she said is, I was going to call u and cancel ur appointment because I'm not the stylist for you... Whaaat?! I tried to be nice and ask if anyone could fix it? But she just wanted to get rid of me. I paid $350 and now I have to find another stylist to fix my hair!! Im so mad! Her name was Nevaeh. She touched my hair knowing fully she didn't have the knowledge to do what I asked all she had to say was no I can't do it. But she waited till she ruined my hair and took $350 from me then told me she couldn't do it!! So I should look for another stylist. DO NO GOT TO THIS SALON! I never complain and was as nice as I could be when I asked them for help. At least some toner or something. I know balayage is out of the question in this salon but make my hair even? this salon has no costumer service. They didn't care! The other stylist there agreed with my complain when she saw my hair but let Nevaeh just get rid of me in the rudest way and stayed quiet. I didn't want to be a Karen and ask for the manager or owner So I just left. What a horrible experience. I lost $350 before a vacation and my new hair after chemo is burned and damaged. Arrived at 8:25 one client in a chair. My son (in a wheelchair) just needed a dry cut. They had apparently only one stylist she "checked in back" to see if she had a stylist. Where chit chatting and laughing could be heard. No they are off work. Maybe tomorrow. No No thanks. The vibe was it doesn't seem easy so NO. Then they turned the light off. This place is horrible.....save yourself and go literally anywhere else. I went there a year ago for roots and a highlight touch up- wanting to try something new as my usual place couldn't get me in for a few weeks so I looked around and this place is close to home with great reviews...! Huge mistake- my hair was fried and dyed jet black.....! They refunded my money after having to plead my case to multiple people but my hair is still unhealthy because of it....! Wouldn't suggest going for highlights,I went here a year ago for a highlight and came out the salon with the same hair color as I came in but paying $200,although she was very lovely and friendly I didn't like the out come and went to the beauty school not to far from here and got the highlights I was looking for plus a trim for $70,please save you're money. read more

I have been to a professional salon a total of....0 times for a professional cut and color. I spoke briefly with Kelleigh over social media (after seeing her work on my family Members) and I loved her demeanor and positive attitude. I booked ASAP. I came in with quite the mess. I told her I "just wanted to love my hair again". She didn't disappoint! The whole experience was pleasant from start to finish, I had delightful conversation with multiple staff members and everyone hyped me up. I saw Ryan 2 weeks ago for highlights and trim. She is very fresh out of school and inexperienced, unbeknownst to me at the time. I specifically asked for somebody with curly experience when I made the appointment. I asked for caramel-y honey toned highlights. Instead I got this atrocious white blonde highlights in the back and legit orange brassy highlights in the front around my face. She severely over-processed the color (thus the white in the back) and thus severely damaging my hair health and curl structure. Also technique was severely lacking. She started the highlights 3/4" from my roots so it looks like I had almost 2 months of grow out from the get go. You can't even call the technique highlights - it legit looks like block all-over coloring because of how thick of pieces she took. I called the next day because I was so upset. They offered to have me come back in to have Ryan fix the color and that it sounded like it needed a "toner correction". I told them under no circumstances would I allow Ryan to ever touch my hair ever again. I ended up going back in the following week and seeing Cayla. She took about an inch off (to help with the damage), hand painted some highlights on the top layer only, and finished with a toner. She did a deep conditioner treatment as well as Olaplex treatment, and did the whole service at no cost (as should be expected from the salon). For about a week the color was decent. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks and the horrendous white is coming through meaning that the toner only lasted about a week and a half. I wash my half 2 times a week max so it's not a matter of over washing my hair. I understand that she was working with another stylist's mistakes but she should have known that a non-permanent toner was not going to fix this. Also, the fact that Ryan had the audacity to charge me $180 is ludicrous. Avoid this salon at all costs. read more

I have had my hair done here many times. I only stopped, because I decided to go back to my natural hair color. I cannot recommend Whitney enough, she is an absolute joy! Also, their salon offers you a nice coffee or tea while you're having your hair done. Overall, I recommend this salon. read more

I went to Cayla Joy and she truly is an absolute joy! Very kind and we connected instantly. We did a bleach and green fantasy and my hair didn't lift as much as we wanted so I will keep going back to touch up appointments with her. Even though we didn't get the lift I wanted initially my hair was stunning when I left and I received many compliments. And I can't wait to see the finished look. 20/10 read more

I quit going here a few years ago because I didn't like the fact that I always left feeling unfinished. I would go in for bc a haircut and I would have to dry and style my own hair after. They even have a "blow dry station". You have to pay more if you want the stylist to finish your hair. The people were nice, i just didn't like how they ran the business. I quit going here quite some time ago because I never felt completely done. Getting my hair done was always a special treat I gave myself but I never felt satisfied leaving here after a haircut or color. I don't know if they still run the salon the same, but I won't go back to find out. Plus there is hardly any parking. I now go to someone who use to work there but is now in a better place. read more

Honestly I struggled with even writing this review, but I felt it necessary after about a month of this eating at my heart.i came in to the salon and saw Lila, the first time I came in was a totally different person then when I had to come back in and have my super warm retouch foil toned down.. after discussing and I told her I did not like the warmth she did another root smudge, thus leaving a hard line still. I have had 1 bad experience with extensions before, but I wanted to give it another try. Cassidy went above and beyond my expectations and I am so amazed with my hair. The ladies at 22 changes are amazing and the vibes are immaculate. I highly recommend coming here for a new look, a fresh color, or any other service provided. Lauren also does my lashes and they are gorgeous. Kelleigh always does an amazing job with my hair! I have frizzy/ curly, naturally red but going white hair- even though it's a handful and always changing she always makes me feel so cared for while I'm there and knows exactly how to work with my hair. I always leave so excited about what she's done and know I'm leaving with healthier hair or a plan to get me there with style/product suggestions specific to my hair type. Whether it's balayage, lowlights, full head color, a haircut, or styling for me (though she can do much more) she always delivers! So I feel the need to let potential clients of this salon know about the four experiences I had here in the last 6 months.. First off the stylists are young. Which to me, can be a good thing because they have all the latest knowledge on hair techniques and products.... That being said... You will also not be less than 3 hours in their chair. Minimum. Idc what length of hair you have. And also, at every appointment I had they cut my hair very very little. I mean, so little that I never looked like I got my haircut. And they all styled my short, fine, thin hair with a huge round brush (for volume I get it) but I don't wear my hair like that. Ever. But they never asked how I wanted my hair styled. So that sucked. That's not the worst of it. The lead stylist is expensive and when I got to her chair the third appointment, it turned out to be not the cut and color I made the appointment for, but instead a talking me into buying and doing hair extensions. So ok let's see how that goes right? Why not. So $1000 for the extensions, plus the 4 bottle hair system she told me I needed to start using and then the cost of the "haircut" but no color because now we are going to do that in four MORE weeks when she can get me in for the extension install. So her "haircut" price is outrageous because not once did I receive a full haircut. It was a very little trim. Not one of the stylists even touch my bangs. And the lead stylist charges like $80 for a "cut" which for me was never more than a very quick, 5 minute trim. Ridiculous. And again, never even touched my bangs. And I walked around for months with my gray getting worse and worse and by the time I got to the lead stylist she never even asked me if I wanted root coverage. I was so gray by the time I got to the day of the install I couldn't stand myself anymore. Yet I go to the 4 hour appointment, she colors my hair (90 mins), has her assistant wash and dry my hair (which, I was never given a towel to put around my neck or dry my ears after the wash which was soooo odd). So I sit back down in the chair for a blow dry (with no product except heat protectant so now my real hair is so frizzy)...and I look in the mirror and I'm still all gray at my roots! SOO BAD!!!!! So I talked to her and asked why I was still so gray. She said she was blending in my gray because she was following what the other two stylist had been doing! I was like, "UHHH....I don't want to be gray. I've never wanted to be gray." So then she was like "oh the girls should never have done what they did to you. I was just following what they have been doing." So here's where I get really really upset. She just threw the girls that she trained, herself, under the bus. Not. Okay. At. All. She can THINK those thoughts about her coworkers but she should not have said that about those girls. They clearly haven't been trained that well then and that falls on HER. The mistake they all made (among many) was that none of them asked me if I wanted my roots covered or blended. We could've avoided hours and hours (literally, first appt 3 hours. Second was FIVE HOURS, third was 1 hour tops?? Cuz she didn't do anything and the fourth appointment was 4 hours and I didn't even get the extensions put in!! Keep reading...) So after she says this to me about the young women she mentored, she told me that we can't do the extensions now because she has to cover my roots instead. Omg I wanted to crawl out of my skin I was so angry. So now she's mixing up more color for my roots. Applies that and now I'm waiting 30 MORE MINUTES for that to do it's thing. She told me "I'm not going to do as dark a color as you want this time, we will do it next time when we move up your extensions at the 5 week appt." Yeah, she was never going to see me again after this. So I cancelled the install for Saturday morning, went by the salon and picked up the extensions I had already bought and was on my way. Never. Again. Such a colossal waste of money and time at this place. The manager was very very kind and understanding when I spoke to her on the phone about everything. She offered to refund me the money I paid for the product system I bought (that I'm Not convinced I need). And she was apologetic and sweet. And the two girls who did my hair the first two appointments were also very very kind and sweet and actually did wonderful color. I was grateful for that...but not for the no haircuts, no root coverage for months and the insane way they each blow dried my hair in a way that I never even wear my hair. Going to a much more professional and BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED salon instead. With an extension professional who knows. Her. Stuff! I'll be excited to finally put this place behind me. My hair was long and gorgeous. Just wanted to change the color, do some silver fun and do some layers for body and lift. I was already blonde so figured it would be easy. It made no sense as to why this girl dyed my roots dark brown going into silver. The dark was horrible. I had her lighten it because I was getting married in 2 weeks. My roots were still awkward. I came back after the wedding a couple months later to do a trim and lighten up that brown once and for all. She fried my hair!!! She left bleach on my hair for 1.45hrs which gave me bleach burn on my scalp. She whacked off 10in on the right side and 12in on the left. Leaving my hair fried and lopsided. My gorgeous long hair was gone. This visit was 8hrs of hell. The manager saw for herself all the damage and had little sympathy or care. The owner did fix my hair to the best of her ability but, I was treated like a nuisance. My suggestion? Find another salon please. read more

Everyone at this salon is very nice and welcoming. We saw Tayler today for the first time. My daughter and I, really enjoyed her expertise on both of our hair types, thick and straight and thin and curly. She made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. She gave me a lot of great tips on the products I should be using and how to use them for my curly hair my daughter who has very thick hair, loved how her layers haircut came out!! Made an appointment to have my eyebrows waxed and shaped. They sat me at a hair washing station chair which I found strange. Needless to say my neck was sore after the appointment. I explained exactly how I wanted my eyebrows and she somehow managed to do the complete opposite. Unfortunately she didn't hand me a mirror to see if I liked them when she was done, she just quickly ushered me out to the cashier, so I didn't even get to see the end results until I got to my car. I had to drive to Ulta to get a precision razor in a desperate attempt to fix the damage. Next time I'll go to an actual eyebrow salon. read more

I have been getting my hair cut at 22 Changes for over ten years now, and I have never been disappointed. I first tried them out on the recommendation of a friend when I was looking for a place to donate my hair. After having a really positive experience, I decided to go back again. And again. And again. And... you get the picture. Over the years I've donated my hair twice, and I have never had a more fantastic grow out from a dramatic cut than from the stylists at 22 Changes. These days I see Cynthia, and she is AMAZING. She's been cutting my husband and my hair for the past two years, and we always look and feel great after we leave. Personally, I like to talk to my stylist while getting my hair cut, and if you also do, you will have a really fun time talking with Cynthia. She really cares about what I want, and she puts me at ease so I don't feel awkward if I want her to change or add something. They are a bit expensive for a cut, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Cynthia gives me haircuts that are so manageable I can wash my hair, let it air dry on the way to work, and it still looks fantastic all day. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Specifically for the hairstylist "Armani" ! she's very unprofessional & only likes to do certain clients hair. Me & my fiancee were going to her for 2yrs since we moved to Vancouver & she was charging me around $150 for box braids & $40 to trim my girl's hair. I noticed she would complain every time it came to detangling my hair as if it was too much work so i started ed helping her out a lil bit by washing my hair & making it as soft as possible before I went. Keep in mind, she has me & my fiancé's emails, numbers, & we've supported her on social media. she literally waited until i sat down in the chair to tell me that, "she had some talks w/ ppl in the industry & in the area & turns out she's been undercharging me for what she does." So she hands me this makeshift breakdown of $392 to do my hair on the spot & she refused to do my hair even though I was just being informed at that moment! I sat in the lobby for 15mins waiting for her to finish her current client that was before me. She could've told me then or any time before! I scheduled my appointment 2wks in advance. That is totally unprofessional & unacceptabl. & when my girl called to speak to her she refused again. I Had an appointment to get my haircut here and I called because I was running eight minutes late and they told me if I was more than 15 minutes late they canceled the appointment...I got there exactly 8 minutes late and they told me they could not see me. I had paid for a babysitter and drove 25 mins to get here. NOT ok. I'm sorry I was late but I called and 8 mins is pretty harsh to turn someone away. read more
