It was then the incident happened as I was leaving the owner stopped me and I quote "Don't come back here if your just going to walk around and look at stuff and not buy anything. I don't have time to watch you". I just simply replied that I won't be coming back. A truly rude and inconsiderate owner. Who had nothing to offer but price gauging a customer. Just a terrible store that treats it customers as if they are a bother to have in the store.

They've got a good selection of wine, including several Michigan favorites, great selection of cognac, and scotch, as well as other spirits but the aforementioned always get my attention. They have always been a good spot to stop in and pick up a pack of some of your Bud / Miller / Coors type of stuff but they never really went too far into craft beer. They did carry Sierra Nevada and some Magic Hat but mostly the crowd pleaser beers. This was never a problem because they are so customer friendly in there that if I wanted something special they would just order it for me. Well upon a recent visit to pick up a requested bottle of St. Bernardus Abt. 12, I was struck by a sudden and overwhelming feeling of delight. Something fantastic has happened over at my local beer store. It has become a gem of a craft brew store with all of my favorites right there on the shelves. No longer will I drive 25 minutes to Holiday in Royal Oak when the vast majority of what I purchase there is now available basically within walking distance. Samuel Smith's Nut Brown! Weihenstephaner! Four packs of St. Bernardus! All of my favorites from Stone, Founder's and Great Lakes! Good things are happening over at Barrels of Wine in Walled Lake my friends. Do yourself a favor and check it out. I took advantage of the mix and match 6 packs of craft beers for an additional 10% off my total, one of the specials. My wife isn't the worlds biggest fan of craft beer but even she got excited about mixing and matching all of her favorites and even got some new ones to try. Why such a raving review for what some may see as just being a party store? Here's the bottom line, a small, family run local business has made a bold move in delegating a section of their store to a niche market and I can't drink all this beer myself. Go in and let them know they've made the right move. With so many fine micro breweries in Michigan you shouldn't be drinking the mass produced, filtered, flavorless, national conglomerate beers anyway. Buy local, support local business. 5 Stars.

In our view, his conduct not only misrepresented our organization to others, but also resulted in discriminatory treatment toward a legitimate local charitable organization committed to serving the community. FNBUBBLES420 Org exists to support individuals with disabilities, autism, PTSD, mental health challenges, physical challenges, service-related injuries, veterans, students, gamers, streamers, developers, and others in need through technology, accessibility resources, education, and community support. As an organization dedicated to helping underserved and vulnerable communities, it is especially concerning that we were subjected to this type of treatment. Rather than approaching the matter in a fair, objective, and professional manner, the actions taken were dismissive, prejudicial, and harmful to our organization's reputation. The situation became even more concerning when FNBUBBLES420 Org was banned from the Walled Lake Community Group while these false and misleading statements were being made. Being excluded under those circumstances was unjust, damaging, and deeply discouraging. As an organization dedicated to helping others, we expected accuracy, fairness, and respectful engagement. Community groups should uphold those standards, especially when interacting with lawful nonprofit organizations working to support individuals and families in need. Unfortunately, our experience reflected the opposite. Based on how our organization was treated, we have serious concerns regarding both the misleading nature of the statements made and the discriminatory manner in which our nonprofit was handled.

Like any tasting there are some you like and some you don't. The ones we liked were many as we took some home and a howler of cider. I've been visiting Vine 2 Wine for two years now and plan on returning for many years to come. My…read morefirst wine bottling started as a birthday gift following a recommendation from my boss. Since then I've been back three times to bottle new wine with a fourth bottling scheduled in a few weeks. The process is fun and simple and always begins with store-owner Mark's custom greeting (I won't spoil it here). You or your group will be presented with samples of available varietals and blends along with some crackers to cleanse the pallet between tastings. Keep in mind you are tasting extremely young wine at this point which is just starting to show it's potential body and texture. Following your preferred selection (we like to guess each varietal and keep a running ranking) Mark takes over the heavy lifting and notifies you 8-10 weeks later when it's ready for bottling. If you enjoy wine tasting, bottling is a unique experience unto itself. You may bring your own cleaned bottles from home or purchase new wine bottles if necessary. Standard labels are available for each varietal or you can print your own. Bottling involves pumping wine through an aerator into each 750ml bottle, using a special press to apply the cork, sealing the cork topper over a tea kettle and affixing a label to the cleaned bottle surface. And of course you are sampling your current wine or future purchases the entire time. Your wine must stay vertical for a week after bottling before laying flat. I recommend storing your wine for 3-6 months before opening the first bottle and from that point opening a new bottle every few weeks to taste the difference in the aging process over the following 6-18 months. What started as a gift to myself has grown into a quarterly hobby for a small group of my wine loving friends. We start the tasting process fresh after each bottling and use the downtime to come up with new wine label designs and enjoy previous purchases. He was so friendly and relatable. We learned all about his farm, his family, and his animals. Love it! He introduced us to his amazing black garlic gin. I mean it was delicious!!! He made a great bloody Mary with it, and it was one of the best I have had. He also sent us home with some garlic and horseradish! We tried some interesting black garlic which was the consistency of a gummy bear and delicious. I can't wait to go back in the summer months. It was such a beautiful place!

Upon arriving, we found lots of kids who were enjoying themselves at the small rides. I think they had apple picking going on as well. She and I went to the winery and upon entering, we were greeted with smiles. Everyone was so nice. I tasted a few items and chose two to bring home with me. The Concord wine is amazing! The cherry wine was a great second. My mom loves the peach, so she bought one of those. I plan to stop by again before heading back to SC!
