Service was quick and friendly but the basco stick was underwhelming . It may have been because it was at the end of the day (3ish) so it may have been sitting under the warmer for a while. They had three dipping sauces made in house ( marinara, ranch and butter garlic) they charge for each one. Marinara was great!! They were out of the garlic butter or I would have tried that. But the actual bosco stick had ZERO cheese pull. Posted a picture after first bite. read more

If you are craving some carbohydrates O'Connors is the place to go. Best low key spot in Brighton Michigan. I would recommend their bag of bread. A very tasty snack after you get a nice sweat on. I'd say more of a blue collar type of munch. read more

Wow, if you want to pay $9.00 for a bread sandwich this is your place. Highway robbery!!!!! Plus no flavor or taste. My wife did better with a $4.00 Ruben down the road. Spoke with the owner who did not obviously care about customers experience. What happened to paying for what your getting. $9.00! Simple food --- this is a liquor and convenience store with a sandwich counter --- but not half bad, and a nice alternative to the fast food chains. Hot sandwiches are done in a microwave; I'd stick to the cold ones. The buns and meat are wrapped together in cellophane; when you order one, they unwrap them and start adding veggies and fixings to order. I haven't figured out the reason for this setup, maybe something with bulk to-go orders? The booze and Twinkie offerings are fairly simple; more about cases of Bud Light than craft, and few interesting ciders. Good subs with banana peppers and cheese for after mountain biking or skiing, but I won't be by for a weekday meal. read more

I love this party store slash pizza deli. I've been a customer since I was a teen and everything has always stayed the same. That's a good thing!! I can run in and get salads, sandwiches, cold drinks or hot coffee anytime. They are never out of anything and the staff is helpful and friendly. read more

I would like to give this store a good review. I'm actually a regular there. But each time I try to return cans there I become irrelevant. (I've even walked out because of it.) They see me with returnables and proceed to serve every customer that walks in behind me. When I complained I was told by the manager " Food orders are more important" The funny thing is, I was planning to buy pizza. The inconvenience of the state law requiring stores to accept returnables should never be passed down to or belittle any customer. read more

This place is amazing! I used to go to Tropical Smoothie Cafe and spend $5 for breakfast but I can go here, get a delicious breakfast with eggs and bacon (or sausage) and get a couple of drinks for $5! Or I can just go with the sandwich alone for 3 bucks... you can't beat it! read more

Just picked up 2 bosco sticks, 2 slices of pizza (pepperoni) and a turkey Swiss sub. All delicious! It's hard to find a tasty and fast pizza / sandwhich joint that sticks to the classics. Nothing fancy here and that's its appeal! I've read some folks commenting saying the ladies behind the counter are rude - I found them to be very pleasant! I really miss this place. The ham/bacon and egg crossaints are great for breakfast. I think I ate one just about every day for 4 years. For lunch its a hard choice on wether to get the club sub or pizza. Decent beer selection and even a drive thru when it is too cold to get out of your car. read more

Since finding O'Connor's Deli, we rarely order our pizza's anywhere else. They are simply the best we have found in the Brighton area. Prices are quite reasonable, service is prompt and friendly. I own an auto repair in Brighton and we order the Breakfast Pizza quite often. It is simply amazing and it is very reasonably priced and huge...loaded with good stuff.. I also used to work across the street from O'Conners Deli at an auto repair...like 24 years ago ..and we used to get their regular pizza for lunch...also amazing. Today was my third time going into O'connors in the last three months, before then it had been a year or so since I had been there. The first time I went it was lunch time and there wasn't one pizza to be had, others and I waited for 20 minutes when they said it would be 8 minutes. the second time same thing waited at Lunch time for 15 minutes for pizza. Today I got a Italian sub because, You guessed it, there was no pizza again at lunchtime. I couldn't eat the top of the bun it was so old and dry. I'm wondering as I look at it how old it is. I'm scared to eat it so I have thrown away another $5. I am going to guess they have new owners? the brothers that owned it before would never have let this happen. Best pizza in town, great breakfast selections and for premade subs they are pretty good as well. Has a drive thru which is very convenient. I wish they would bring in a larger selection of Michigan Craft Beers. read more
