Dennis came out to install some lights for us. Everything was great and we had him come back 2 more times. In total, they installed a new quad outlet for our networking equipment in a closet, 2 chandeliers, 2 pendant lights for the front porch, a ceiling fan, 3 hallway pendant lights, 2 outside flush lights in the lanai, and 2 new LED fluorescent-like tube lights in closets. They are prompt, communicate when running early or behind, and clean up after themselves. We appreciate his flexibility, as Dennis was understanding and willing to work in our house that was torn up from a remodel and was able to work while renovation electricians were also flipping circuit breakers and reschedule with us when some work could t be done due to other constraints. I can't say enough about Volts Electric. They are the BEST! Background, I have a degree in Electrical Engineering, and have wired a couple of houses and garages. I needed an outlet installed in my garage ceiling to accommodate a garage door opener. My new home is kinda weird, so I wasn't even sure one could be installed. BUT... in comes Volts - Dennis to be exact. He contacted me very quickly and gave me a pretty good estimate right over the phone... estimate was the key.. I knew it could be more. So he set an appointment - went in, and got the job done pretty quickly. I am not living in the home and am too far to have gone to meet him there, so he let himself in by the door code - then kept me apprised by text of everything he was doing - followed by pictures when he completed the job. Dennis is great and very honest. I've been having electrical issues (minor) here and there throughout my home for about a year now. I kept saying I needed to get an electrician out to my house to check the electrical flow into my home and to ensure all power coming into my home was in good working order. Today, a Sunday, my AC Thermostat died. With all the electrical oddities going on in my home I thought for sure the thermostat issue was tied to my electrical issues. Dennis provided me a time he could make it out (on a Sunday in the middle of summer), explained to me the minimum service call charge and showed up on time. He immediately got to work and found the issues within my electrical box that was causing the odd issues I was having throughout the past year. He tightened all connections, checked all electric to the house and made sure electric was getting to the problem areas of my house. When it came to my AC he said he had done all he could do from an electrician's point of view and he thought I needed an AC repairman to double check the transformer on my AC unit. I was grateful for him taking the time to explain to me why he thought my AC issue may be a transformer. He completed all the electrical work on my house quickly and only charged me the service call fee. I did call an AC repairman that I knew and trusted who immediately came out and confirmed, it was the transformer on my AC unit that was causing the AC issues. I really appreciate the time Dennis took checking everything in my house so I could rule out electrical power as one of the main culprits of my other home repair items. Dennis was experienced, knowledgeable and skillful. He made repairs and addressed our concerns in our new ( old ) condo . There was no aspect of our electrical system that he was not on top of. Dennis Lagares Jr. is the owner of the Volt Electric LLC and he came to my residence and installed the Fluorescent Light Fixture at a very reasonable price and as a homeowner I am very pleased in his workmanship and his reasonable price installation. We contacted Dennis of Volts Electric early on July 19 to have an EV charger installed. We sent $600 via Zelle immediately after contacting him to have permit pulled for this work. This advance payment was half of the quoted estimate even though the work had not been started. Dennis mentioned the work would be completed after he got the permit, but the install date was contingent upon when the permit was received. Since our new car could not be driven much until we got it charged, we found someone else who could give us a firm install date sooner at a much less expensive price. We contacted Dennis within a couple of hours of our initial call and asked him to cancel this work and refund our $600 advance payment ASAP. We have repeatedly asked for a refund which he said he would do when he could get around to it. We offered to pay $100 towards any work he initiated on the permit. We still have not received a refund even though the work was not done and was cancelled within a couple of hours of the initial request for completion of this work. Not a good experience. read more

Dennis provided excellent service. I had no hot water coming from water heater due to no electricity coming into it, and it was after 1:00pm on a Friday, of course. I frantically started dialing electricians, as I had no recommendations. No one answered, but one, that said no one could come for 10 Days!!! Our newly bought home lacked coax connection to the living room to connect our TV cable box. A new cable wire had to be laid from main control box to living room through the attic to connect. I hired Volt for the job, Dennis came over, gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. He, along with his dad helping him, did the work, now we have cable TV in the living room.
