Twice now, these guys have come to our house and absolutely saved us from ruin. The first time, we were on vacation in Italy, and they were able to come on a Sunday and save most of our stuff, as well as our house, from a broken toilet fixture that flooded two floors of our house! The second time was much more minor, but they came by in the middle of the evening, and got EVERYTHING taken care of! Not every detail has been perfect, but everything that has gone awry, they have bent over backward to make right. Which, to my mind, is the best part. Firstly, the good things. These guys responded quickly and were on site and ready to work. The not so good stuff, the initial estimate was $6500 and then that went up to $8000 and then finally came in at $9000 even though they did less work than the original estimate called for (didn't have to tear up another room). A certain line item got added to the final invoice for $500 that was not reflected on the initial invoice or communicated that it could become a cost. After multiple emails and jumping on a call they were unwilling to see that there estimate was way off and wouldn't reconcile the $500 line item or the lack of transparency from their initial estimate. They also damaged the trim work when removing it and then didn't admit to it. Only after being pushed (after initially denying it) did they admit they had damaged some. Use with caution. read more

We hired 24-7 Restoration after a plumber referral for a burst pipe. While the crew responded quickly, there was strong encouragement to open an insurance claim and proceed with additional work we declined. After four days, we stopped services and hired an independent asbestos abatement company with an estimate over $1,000 lower. A carpet professional later advised that the amount of carpet removed was unnecessary, and the abatement company found no mold. This reflects our personal experience. read more

We had a dishwasher drain backup at one of our rental properties, and my tenant called 24/7 Restoration to come and take care of the situation. Yair & team were great, and they did an excellent job. That's the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. It went downhill from there. While 24/7 was clear up front that I would need to pay anything that my insurance did not pay, the accounts payable emails began well before payment was even due. And they went out of their way to keep reminding me I'd have to pay every dollar. Again, all before payment was due. Super annoying and it felt like harassing behavior. Not surprisingly, there was a delay with my insurance and a lot of back and forth on price. I paid the initial undisputed price by the due date, though there was about $3200 still in dispute. At that point, 24/7 was ok with that while we waited on more back and forth with insurance, and said so in writing. My insurance came back and was within $1400. Now we were at a standstill. I proposed that 24/7 call it a day on the mitigation if I went with them for the much larger restoration piece. Seemed like a reasonable request. Instead, I was accused of holding the remaining disputed mitigation payment "hostage". Completely unprofessional to say this to a customer, especially one who is trying to move forward. I was so disgusted that I did not want to do anymore business with them. I paid the full amount immediately, including the disputed amount. I went to their competition for the rebuild and was very happy with the result. Honestly, it seemed like the whole time that 24/7 was working AGAINST me while they should have been working WITH me to get the full amount from insurance. I've had a lot of experience with contractors and services businesses across my rental portfolio, and this was by far the worst. read more

Things started off on a great foot. An employee named Forrest showed-up on time and seemed to really know his stuff. My 84 year-old parents had a pipe blow in their basement and the leak motivated our State Farm rep to recomend 24-7. Now, there are a few 24-7 restorations on the Front Range. I think that it is important to make the distinction. 24-7 was NOT on State Farm's sanctioned list but our Agent in Loveland, (Dave Orr) reccomended them none-the-less. Suffice to say, things started off great and then went down-hill fast. They kept their mitigation fans going in the basement for over three months without checking back with us in a meaningful way after the first week or two. (they charge for the use of their fans on a daily basis). This was the first thing that signalled to me that 24-7 (or at least this franchise) was down with charging the insurance company for as much as possible, despite any repercussions to the consumer (State Farm has since dropped my parents). Eventually, they sent in their "Mitigation team," which was actually another business taht NO ONE SHOULD EVER EMPLOY name "Meridian." Meridian came in and did half the job for twice the money. When 24/7 finally sent their people back to start dong the actual "Restoration" (Meridian alone charged almost $20,000 to do less than half the mitigation work on a 1,000 sq ft. (give or take) basement. So much of their work was incomplete, in fact, that when 24/7 sent management over to determine where to start with the "restoration" part of the project, the manager (anothe sub-contractor) explained that they could not begin to approach the project because Meridian did not compleat the mitigation. I had to spend several hours on the phone with various employees at 24/7. Finally, Mr. Orr from State Farm and one of the owners (there are two) of 24/7 agreed to meet me at the house. I drove up and hour and met the duo. They knew one another (hence the recommendation). I hope that the second owner of 24/7 has a bit more common sense and business accument than the gentleman who ended-up in attendance that day. After over 6 months of going back and forth with his sub-contractors and representatives, the best he could come up with by way of explanation as to why the people that he billied almost 20K for didn't do their job and why he did not feel compelled to finish the job was... "Well, it's nto like your parent's house is the Taj Mahjal, or something." I was in shock. He arrived at my parent's home in a defensive and confrontational state, with an unwillingness to get anything constructive accomplished. Eventually, he agreed to take-off a small amount of the fee he paid the mitigation company he sub-contracted (Do not ever use "Meridian" as they are dishonest at worst and innept and overly condident in their midling abilities at best). The best thing that Meridian has going for it is a couple of their employees. The woman manning the phones, Forrest and the other subontractor they employed to fufill the unenviable task of explaining that 24/7 did a poor job with mitigation via "Meridian" all tried their best. The owner of the company was a walking advertisement for the expression "adding insult to injury." He should not be in a postition to "run" anything, let alone the sort of company that is consistantly called upon to "Save the day." 24/7, along with the insurance agent who rcomended them and the Mitigation company they hired to do their "extra work" failed egregiously. The owner of the company made it very clear that unless your project is worth a certain amount to them (as ours presumably would have if 24-7 did not farm-out all of the work they took on for us to a disreputable firm without our knowledge or permission) he did not feel it was worth the effort to ensure that the job was completed well, under budget or on time. If you have a situation in your home where you really need help, from good people who take pride in their work and provide excellent service and support, I stongly recomend that you look elsewhere for as long and as hard as necesarry before you employ this business. read more

Steve from 24/7 is a joke. I hired these guys to clean up our crawl space after having some plumbing issues. The workers did a great job cleaning and drying everything out, and were always polite to me. When they were done, they removed the brown paper they put on the floor, which was taped around the edges with blue tape. The tape ripped some of the finish off our hardwood floor in several places and looks horrible. There are two noticeable lines where the majority of the paper was taped down. The guy who pulled the paper up acknowledged it, and said Steve would contact me and take care of it. A month later I get a call from Steve and find out they not only didn't finish the job in the crawl space, but that it was my fault that the tape ruined the finish on our floor. I explained to him that I didn't ask them to put tape on the floor, and that I shouldn't have to pay to get it fixed because it was their fault. He tried to convince me to get our homeowners insurance to pay for it because he said it was part of the cleanup, which isn't true- and I'm pretty sure that's insurance fraud. So I told him I wasn't doing that and that they should take care of it. He said, " blue tape doesn't do that." I explained that it did and that his own worker saw the tape pull the finish up, and wrote it in his notes. He agreed that it happened, but said it shouldn't have and once again blamed me for it. He said something must be wrong with our floor. There wasn't anything wrong with our floor until these guys came in and messed it up! When they came back to finish the job they never attempted to fix my floor. Steve even had them charge me an extra fee noted as "wood floor covering", which was literally the worker throwing a dirty drop cloth on my living room floor. I was charged $73.32 to have a dirty sheet put down, just out of spite. It was an incredibly childish thing to do- all because I complained that they ruined our hardwood floor, which anyone would complain about! Use any other company. I guarantee they'll be more mature than Steve. read more

They do work 24/7: they physically come over daily to check on the drying process. Each process of this project, has a different crew... all are knowledgable, conscientious and kind. Good drying out, Poor Reconstruction... I really wanted to like 24-7 restoration. I had a whole house flood due to a malfunctioning toilet. They were prompt at coming out. The clean up crew was nice too. The drying out phase went efficiently and they communicated wonderfully. But then came the reconstruction. Steve, the reconstruction manager, seem more interested in getting the job done quickly rather than doing the job right. I had to project manage this myself as Steve was focused on other jobs, not checking up on his crew, and most importantly not communicating effectively with me. I emailed the company a number of times with the owner, Michael, copied in expressing my frustration that I had to manage the project and the number of errors occurring. Michael never bothered reaching out to me. I had to have Steve and his crew return multiple times to complete holes that were not filled, ceiling that was improperly done, paint that was not done with edging, and more. I still get upset when I walk on my still stained carpet (from the drying out/reconstruction) with lumps in it. 2 stars for Reconstruction and 4/5 stars for drying out. I would not recommend the reconstruction side. I would recommend the drying out only. read more

When you experience the stress and overwhelm of a house catastrophe, you want 24-7 by your side. We feel SO THANKFUL to have found them. We had a water line in our kitchen fail, wreaking all sorts of havoc on the wood flooring, cabinets, drywall, and the basement ceiling and carpet in the level below it. It's one of those nightmares you just dread as a homeowner. We had tenants in the house (we'd moved away temporarily), and called a plumber, who recommended a different mitigation company. After reading some reviews, we decided to go with 24/7 and I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Even though it was a Sunday afternoon right after Thanksgiving, they came out that afternoon. After assessing the situation, talking me through the whole thing (patiently answering my many questions), got to work right away on cleaning everything up and drying everything out. The best thing about working with them (besides how beautifully they mitigated the water damage, which was excellent) was their communication. I don't think I've ever worked with a company so on top of their communication. Every morning someone would call when they were on their way. Every evening, we would get an email recap (that included every one else even remotely involved in the project, all the way up to the CEO even, I think?!) of what they did that day, and what to expect the next day. I can not begin to describe how valuable this was to us, who were out-of-state at the time and unable to be there in person. It gave me such peace of mind. Any time I asked a question or brought up a concern, it was addressed right away. There was a question after they were finished about the placement of some cabinets, and they made a special trip back out to put them in a better place for our tenants. Talk about going above and beyond! They clearly knew their stuff and I feel so good about the clean-up and dry-out job they did-- that it was thorough and completely taken care of. They worked directly with our insurance and knew how to handle that side of everything, which was also a relief when we were feeling overwhelmed by it all. They are hard-working and trustworthy and we would highly recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a similar position. 24-7 Restoration was a remarkable company to work with. We had a water-main break in our foundation and had severe water damage to our basement and crawl space. We originally used a different company as recommended by my insurance provider. The first company was not able to dry our basement effectively. A few weeks later a musty smell developed in our basement. I called 24-7 to have the crawl space checked out and a crew was at my home the same day. They found mold growing as a result of the failed dry-out from the first company. The 24-7 crew removed the mold and did a full dry-out of our basement. They were extremely professional and the work was top notch. I regret not going with 24-7 the first time.
