The girl who answered the phone was difficult to communicate with, so I reached out to others via Yelp. VERY smart move. I set appointments with two back-to-back services for a quote. The first person was Jack from On Demand. Jack checked the entire kitchen area and said nothing was back there. I was shocked and blessed to say the least. It's been two weeks since these people came to my home and tested for mold. The guy verbally confirmed there was mold in my home and charged me $800 for two test samples. My landlord isnt doing anything about it and I need this test to be able to do something about it! They told me it would take 3-5 business days and it's been 2 WEEKS. I've called multiple times and each time whoever picks up is extremely rude and tells me that the test results will come tomorrow end of day. He's been saying that for a week now. Now, I called today and they're saying they have no record of me ever calling and that they need to speak to upper management to see what's happening. WHAT? How does that even make sense? Can't even look for a refund cus they just say they have no record of servicing me. This is a SCAM. read more

Let me share my highly negative experience with 24H Mold. I was concerned with moisture issues in my home so I called them and they were very prompt to come to my home for the inspection. I cannot say for certain that this company is a SCAM, but I suspect that it is. They have a significant conflict of interest with a remediation company (which is probably owned by the same owners called Save Pro Remediation). They responded quickly to my inquiry and came to my home and charged me $1,795 for 5 tests (3 swabs and 2 air tests). I wish I had not paid. They do not issue any invoice or any statement of work. I was fooled. Then they send you only the lab results, and not a remediation plan. All the remediation companies I called require a statement of work and remediation plan from a mold inspection company to initiate any work. So now I am left with no options other than to get another test from a non-conflicted inspection company and then hire a remediation company after that. When I called them multiple times, they either do not pick up, or there is this really rude receptionist (who must be a family member otherwise I cannot understand how this man can be paid to abuse their customers) who does not answer questions and doesn't follow up. I wish I could give zero stars but Yelp does not allow. If you look carefully at their reviews, they have many 5 star reviews, but read the 1 star reviews in full. I am ashamed of myself for working with these guys. DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAMMERS. read more

unfortunately we had a terrible experience with 24H Mold. the technician who came was unprofessional and did not seem to know what he was talking about. we called to check for mold in our attic and he did not have a ladder so we had to borrow one from a neighbor. he took very blurry photos of our attic and told us that knots in the wood on our doorframes were mold which I had to explain to him that they were not and just needed paint... he told us he would send a full report over with the images but when we called to ask for them we were told the report was an additional charge. also, as per the techs recommendation we paid $700 for two air tests, which according to other trustworthy pros we have had out, were not conducted properly and are unusable. we called the office to inform them of this and ask for a refund as we are unable to use those tests but Karen explained that their tests are different and it is fine for our air purifiers to be running during the test, windows to be open, and the area to not be contained. she said they were an "eveck" machine but we cannot find any information on these specific type of tests or machines so unsure if this is true or not so I would recommend looking into it before moving forward with 24H. I just wanted to warn people that using this company ended up being a waste of $700 for us so hopefully I can save others from the same problem. if anyone needs a different rec, we ended up having an amazing tech come from JLM which was more affordable and he was incredibly professional, prepared, and knowledgable. he was thorough and shared info without trying to scare us about any mold which is so nice when you are dealing with an already stressful situation. read more

The technician came on time. That's what this star is for. However, the results were given as a one page pdf without any explanation or context. I called the company to get info on results and the person in charge gave me a very brief explanation of the types of mold they found. I had hired another company a while back for another property and the report I had received was very detailed, so when I asked for more details, I was told: "Have I not already gone through the results?" . When I mentioned that raw numbers without explanation and next steps were insufficient, I was also told the bold-faced misinformation that the law prohibited test results from being explained or contextualized on a report. As I tried to gather more info, I was bounced around several reps who did not know anything about my case, so I asked to speak to the owner. I asked for his name, and was told that "we don't divulge that information". Finally they put me on to a man named David, who offered to put us in touch with his "parent company" to assess remediation options. After several interactions with them, in the same vein of poor customer service and incomplete / delayed information, I decided not to hire them. If you want a contextualized report, with mold scores on a scale and explanatory comments, go elsewhere. read more

Recently, I had a leak in the house I was renting and saw mold growth occurring. I left a message with 24H Mold Inspection in the morning around 5AM and they responded promptly and had an inspector out to my house around 10AM. The inspector Neiv (sorry if I butchered your name man) came on time and explained how everything worked. They did a visual inspection as well as a thermal scan and moisture readings. After that was done, Neiv took the time to explain the situation that was going on at the house and suggested an air quality test along with swab samples of the mold. Throughout the entire process, I was mostly impressed with the professionalism of 24H Mold Inspection and how well the whole service went.
