I contacted Greg a couple years ago for a mold inspection at my home. I was happy with his service so I contacted him again when my parents needed a general home inspection. Greg arrives on time and is friendly and professional throughout the process. For the mold inspection, Greg explained what he was doing as he took samples and answered my questions. i found greg after anxiously googling for a general inspector who I needed to come to the house at short notice. He was very responsive and was able to meet me the very next day on day 0 of escrow. What made things even better was that greg was able to do mold sampling for me as well. He made the process super easy, checked everything in the house with detail, was able to give us a lot of good advice on the house, and most importantly, told us to speak to a structural engineer about the foundation of the home... which lead us to find out about some very serious and costly repairs. I reached out to Greg through email, and he was very responsive! After the inspection he either picked up or if he was busy he would return my calls quickly. Act fast if you need help now since in the LA pandemic house buying season it appears all inspectors with a good reputation are pretty backed up. Greg was our mold inspector. In my particular situation, I didn't have a reason to believe mold was present - I just had a small contingency window, a baby coming, and needed the peace of mind. In his mold inspection, he checks living spaces but doesn't check behind the walls. He ended up not finding anything mold-related to worry about. We had a home inspection by someone else who pointed out a possible asbestos situation but was not qualified to advise on it, which Greg was able to confirm and advise on. We asked him to rush the mold air sample results and he was able to do it with a small fee per sample before our crazy tight contingency ended. Results came next day at the optimal time for us. Afterwards, we called him to walk us through his inspection. Having inspected many many homes for many many years, his breadth of experience was the asset that really helped us see and compare our situation to others' and obtain the peace of mind we needed as we are buying a home built in the 60s, and it's our first home purchase. Greg explains things clearly and is pleasant to talk to - so I was able to ask a lot of questions and get a clear answer.
