I was looking for a chiropractor in our area and I found this treasure with almost all five-star reviews. So I finally got in today to get an adjustment. To give you guys a background, I don't have any back diseases. I just have some sensations on my lower back and my shoulders from a long-sitting job. Dr.Troy is a professional doctor. He asked my reasons and gave me the best adjustments I have had on my neck, my chest and my side. I am now sitting on my same spot working again. I already feel the sensations subsiding a bit. I don't expect everything to go away instantly so I am gonna make a couple appointments over the next couple of weeks. One more perk: the adjustment is very affordable, although I admit the parking is a little hard to find in downtown Phoenix so I was a couple minutes late to my appointment. I recently relocated to Scottsdale and looking for a new chiropractor has me a bit stressed out. I'm now 37 and have been getting chiropractic care since I was 18. I've met a lot of chiropractors over MANY years and had 3 doctors back home that I found to be life changing for me, and they aren't always easy to find. However, through travel or relocation I've also met a lot of chriopractors that made me feel like a #, and quite honestly with my history of treatment sometimes felt like I was more experienced than them. Maybe it was their lack of being personable or not knowing how to explain things. Most often seeing a new chiropractor, I find it extremely frustrating when they don't explain detail to me given I've been in a situation or pain where I'm longing for information. On that note, I've been through the ringer with my fair share of injuries including a herniation in my L4/L5 (2 year recovery), ribs popping out, throwing my low back out, hip problems, knees, bad car accidents leading bad neck issues, etc. With all that said, I met Dr. Troy when I relocated to Scottsdale. I can't even express how grateful and impressed I am with him! This guy is all the talent and hits on every great quality I look for in a chiropractor! I have been coming here for close to a year now. Dr. Troy is amazing. I first came in because I could not even sit without pain running up and down my back. It's important to me that I have a list of chiropractors that are not only superbly competent, but also genuine people who you can trust with your well being. Both Dr. Troy and Dr. Judd are just that. Two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The partnership between these two doctors complement each other. Dr. Troy employs a straight forward "standard" chiropractic session. He takes the time to find out your preferences as well as educates clients on how to support adjustments through exercise. He's a model of what he preaches and you can tell he works out daily. Dr. Judd is one of the sweetest guys alive. Taking a more esoteric approach, Dr. Judd adds complimentary methods to his chiropractic style such as acupressure and gua sha. If you're downtown, it's a convenient location. If you have to drive, parking is actually pretty easy. I've been visiting this location for over a year now and only once did I have a problem finding metered parking near by. Love love love ! Beau and I go once a month to get adjusted by dr Troy. My dr suggested due to my chronic temple headaches. Convenient location since we walk there... In and out. He doesn't go crazy just does what he needs to do. I have an inner ear disorder so I'm leery of people jerking my head around. So I was experiencing some lock up vertebrae in my upper right side of my neck. And had a slight rib that was out in my upper back as well. I have been seeing another local chiropractor that has been great but we just weren't quite getting there in terms of loosening those vertebrae up. Dr. Troy is a big guy and pretty powerful, not to get confused with rough or aggressive. But it's exactly what my body needed to get that relief I desperately needed. The first adjustment I was so locked up even Dr. Troy wasn't quite able to release it. So I came back for 2-3 more adjustments and by the end of the 3rd adjustment I was fully unlocked and able to sleep and move my head in full range of motion pain free. Price is amazingly low for his services $25 (you can tip as well). The appointments can be scheduled on line and you can be in and out in a matter of 10-15 minutes.
