My best friend recently made an Internet Purchase in July of 2024, the wedding ring was advertised on their website for $2600 dollars, she put it in their cart and tried to pay for it, the payment did not go thru because of a PAYPAL problem. The next day she received a phone call from the Sales rep at 25karats, she was very nice and explained that the payment did not go thru, she then CONFIRMED THE PRICE OF THE RING to my friend. She then ordered the ring and PAID FOR in full, at the price that was Confirmed by the sales rep from 25Karats. the PayPal charge was $2600 + a 10% off Coupon, that went thru without any problems. The next day she got a phone call from the co-owner, who was extremely Rude on the phone, telling my friend that she will never get that ring at that price, she said it was a Mistake on their part, and she said the internet picture was incorrect. she demanded my friend pay $4600 for the ring, and told my friend that if she didn't pay full price, her money would be returned, I don't know where she got her business ethics from, But in the USA, when you falsely Advertise your Products there is a serious price to pay. I have screen shots of the ring and the Price, I also have a copy of the Co- Owner's Email that was sent to my friend basically telling her tough Sh*t, it's our mistake and we ain't doing anything about it...BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES at this place, FALSE ADVERTISING in the Highest Degree. Excellent experience all around! Ordered wedding bands off their website. Received a call from customer service to review my order, before they'll manufacture it, to be certain the specifications I selected were correct and accurate. Turns out I did err - soo happy that they called to review the order, catching my mistake. GK explained their process and estimated timeline to receive my order. Email notifications were sent with shipping details 7 days later(as stated by GK). LOVE THE RINGS!! Beautiful craftsmanship, nice quality - perfect! One ring needed to be resized (my error). After our weird experience at Jangmi (see my other reviews), we tried to do most of our ring shopping online, to avoid the weird judgment with choosing an emerald, and not a diamond for my engagement ring (c'mon, I know what I want). We found 25karats.com, and played around with the website to get an idea of what I wanted the final ring to look like. I wasn't actually going to buy my engagement ring from a website without being able to look at it in person, but then we realized that they had an office in the Diamond District, where you could see rings with all the options. My fiance sent them an email, specifically asking if they had lab emeralds, and to set up an appointment. They responded, with an answer to our question (yes, they do!), and we set up an appointment. Because I was able to look at options on the website, we came in with a good idea of what we wanted. I tried on rings made of different metals, with different sized stones, and played around with different settings. Not once did they try to upsell us on anything, nor impose judgment on the decisions we made. The emerald was made according to our specifications, and the ring was entirely custom-made. I had some reservations that the ring I received wouldn't look like the ring I'd ordered, but in the end, it was precisely what I wanted, and the price was perfectly reasonable. I bring the ring in every six months to get it checked and cleaned, and they do a fabulous job with that too. I highly recommend 25karats. Nevy and GK gave us precisely what we wanted, and almost three years after we purchased the ring, I still couldn't be happier with it. read more

I am an extremely picky buyer and expect perfection, especially in wedding bands. My fiancee picked his band. When we received it, it was not the finish (shine), that we expected from the website photo. 25 Karats accepted the return and re-polished the ring to our satisfaction. It's beautiful!!! I just wish their website pictures we're more accurate. I would recommend asking for an actual picture of what finish your getting prior to ordering. We started talking with 25karats staff over a month ago. They have been very helpful and answered all our questions patiently. My fiancee had already picked her favorite engagement ring for upgrade, but we wanted to see the wedding bands before making our final decision. We decided not to postpone our NY visit plans anymore and also visit 25karats store while we are there. All jewelry experts were very friendly, we really felt comfortable and at home. We saw many rings and decided on one set we particularly liked. They finished the rings in couple of days, before we could even finish seeing the city! Her new engagement ring is especially gorgeous. Please avoid this place at all costs. Yes, the prices are good. But you will pay if your ring isn't made correctly. My husband ordered a diamond anniversary band from 25karats and when it came, there were some workmanship issues...the shank was not round, someone polished off too much on one side, the filigree work on the band was wavy and sloppy. The filigree work was supposed to be in the shape of a heart, but the heart was wavy and lumpy. Very disappointing. We called the company and asked them if they would be kind enough to send us a Fed Ex label to pick up the ring so we could immediately return it to them. First GK, one of their customer service reps, told us they would. THEN customer service rep Nevy called us back later and changed his story. He said he would not give us a prepaid Fed Ex label after all, and that we had to send it back on our dime, and THEN they'd reimburse us the shipping costs. Fine. We grumbled about it, but mailed it back. When they received it, they REFUSED to refund us our shipping costs like they promised! They claimed the ring was made perfectly (it definitely wasn't and they are not unbiased so of course they're going to say it was perfect) and that therefore they would not refund us our shipping costs like they promised. Let's let an INDEPENDENT JEWELRY APPRAISER look at the ring and decide if it was "perfect" or not. They do not keep their word; it obviously means nothing to them. It's disgraceful and disgusting. Shipping costs were only $20. You think they'd care enough about a customer to refund them the $20 like they promised. The workmanship issues were upsetting, but not keeping their word to us was way worse. AVOID! read more
