After realizing the error, I contacted both the recipient and management, hoping the funds would be returned. Despite multiple attempts and my bank confirming the transfer could only be reversed with the recipient's cooperation, I was unable to resolve the issue and was eventually blocked. I acknowledge that the mistake was mine, but I had hoped for honesty, integrity, and compassion in resolving an accidental transfer that had a real impact on my family. This experience left me disappointed and concerned about the professionalism I encountered. I hope Beck Taxi encourages its employees to handle situations like this with empathy and integrity.

They will state that you are expected delivery on a certain date but never live up to it. The most recent example was our shipment being 10 days later than the expected date of delivery. When we call to expedite, they said there is nothing they could do about it because they are queued up with deliveries. The local dispatch does not care whatsoever about your order being late. Trust me, we work with all the carriers in North America but this might be the absolute worst carrier.

If it were obvious the drivers and dispatchers were doing their best, I would cut them some slack but they are lazy, slow to move your freight and unaccountable. They turn a 2-day delivery into a 4-day gig because your stuff never goes out the evening of the day they pick up - unlike the bigger (more organized carriers) - so you lose a transport day to begin with. Don't even bother entering the day you require the delivery to destination as they never read that part and they feel no responsibility to execute. They take your freight gig and just do it on their terms. When you call TO, they can rarely help you because they have poor intell from the regional dispatcher. Forget ever speaking to a dispatcher to pin down a delivery day or time frame, as the dispatcher (Vancouver) will blow you off and will never call you back if TO leaves them your call back number. Further, their tracking portal is total crap. It never updates in a timely and useful manner so it basically leaves you in the dark - which is why you have to call TO and wait on HOLD. I suggest you spend more on the freight cost and use the organized carriers we're already familiar with and save yourself the grief. Forklift drivers being rough with your skidded products, damage which is always avoidable ....I'm doing you a favor by typing up this review. Remember, the first time these dopes muff your shipment, it's their fault. Go with them again and it's your fault for giving them another chance to strain relationships with your customer.

Based on their website, this should have cost around $300 (plus tax & tip). When I was contacted by the company, they quoted me $845!! This was based on a higher hourly rate than was listed on their website. When I asked why, their answer was that they had quoted me the hourly rate for the weekend I requested. Their website does not indicate that the rates may fluctuate based on the booking weekend. Next they told me that the minimum booking period was 6 hours, when their website clearly states the minimum booking period for that vehicle is 2 hours. When I asked why, I was told that it's a prom Saturday. Again, their website does not state that the minimum booking period might be subject to change based on your dates. So, basically I was told that the rates listed on their website are in no way accurate, and they can charge you whatever they feel like that day, and the minimum booking periods listed are in no way accurate, and they can set whatever minimum period they feel like. I found their customer service to be especially terrible, and have zero confidence that they would be a trustworthy or reliable company based on this experience. BEWARE!
