This has long been a favorite place for my family and I. The ambiance is cozy. There are funny signs with sayings that will make you laugh. This place probably seats about my 25 or so. The food here is excellent. We always get something with eggs, pancakes, or sausage and bacon. They have specials that are often lunch items, so brunch here is our favorite. I've yet to eat something here that I have not liked. One recommendation would be the flavored seltzer and/or mimosa. We always get the cotton candy and are left in awe! This is a small gem in North Conway! We love coming here and the staff is awesome. Do not expect fancy food...this is pretty good homestyle foods. It's quirky and cute inside with the best sarcastic signs sprinkled throughout. The waitress we had hit it out of the park with quality service and kindness. Thank you. (I think her name was Ashley) The donut holes reminded me of funnel cake. They were a delight, a little greasy but not soaked--like it would be if the oil was not hot enough. Bacon Bloody Mary totally delivers, tho. 3.5 is right, with a round up for atmosphere and a kids menu gimmick that names all the options after whiny kid complaints (ie, I'm Not Hungry, Whatever, I Don't Care, etc). We were able to fit a stroller at the end of one of the bigger tables as it wasn't crowded for a late lunch on Monday. Staff was friendly and quick. 27 North is a must do breakfast/brunch place if you're anywhere near North Conway. It's on a side street right near Zeb's. Highly suggest parking on the side street because parking on the main road tends to be crazy. Absolutely put yourself on the waitlist either via their site or by calling ahead. There isn't anywhere to wait inside. There is also an hour limit per table which is great. The staff was fantastic and were attentive without being constantly in your face. It was around noon time on a Sunday when we went and it was hopping. When I discovered this place had a waffle charcuterie board, my friend automatically had me had it to the list. Standard is two liege style waffles, chocolate syrup, strawberries, chocolate chips and whipped cream with your choice of meat and side. For additional cost, you can add on other things - my friend chose bananas and Nutella. She also got the Salty B iced coffee - coffee, salted caramel and Bailey's. I got the apple cider mimosa special which was delicious with the cinnamon sugar rim. You can get so many different options and can even do a flight! My breakfast choice was the Sinner skillet - corned beef hash topped with eggs of your choice (I did scrambled), crumbled bacon and blue cheese with your choice of side. I was a little hesitant with the blue cheese because sometime it can be TOO funky but it was perfect. Also, I judge places by their home fries - these were crispy and delicious! Last note - to the person that curated the playlist yesterday? Hat's off to you! Heard everything from Billy Joel to Fall Out Boy to Backstreet Boys to The Offspring to MC Hammer. The chicken and waffles were dry. The steak tips were supposed to be medium rare but came out well done and the meal overall wasn't overly enjoyable. They seemed understaffed, much like the rest of the world these days, but the waitress wasn't very attentive, got our order wrong and just didn't seem engaged.
