French toast with maple cinnamon butter and some delicious corned beef hash
    Glorimar L.

What an amazing place this was. We were visiting from CT and read the amazing reviews and had to stop buy, food was excellent. I had the most delicious French toasts ever with that maple butter and that unique maple syrup from NH. Service was outstanding both days so I left with the desire of a quick return. I loved the location, the ambiance, the proximity to everything and it was minutes away from my hotel (that offered free breakfast ). Thank you for everything!

Breakfast Go-To Spot in Lincoln, New Hampshire Location: On the Main Street of Lincoln, there is limited street parking but directly across the street there is a parking lot which is a solid option next to Lincoln Town Hall. We came on a spring snowy day so there was a line of people inside but they got us to the table as quick as possible but this was a weekday so we may have been spare the weekend wait times. Food and drink: As we waited in the line, they have a list of specials which we ordered from. If we weren't waiting, we may have missed them. I got the MA-RH omelet and my better half got the hooterville, breakfast sandwich special. Mass-Rhode Island Omelet Three-egg omelet with diced chourico Portuguese sausage, onions, and pepper jack cheese served with toast and home fries The Hooterville (special) $12.95 - it is a breakfast sandwich unique. It is two flapjacks with sausage cooked inside, surrounding an extra large egg with cheddar cheese and a dollop of hollandaise sauce served with home fries. Both entrees were sold with the standard coffee with it. I would definitely order both again. Staff: There weren't a ton of staff but everyone was friendly and got everything done within a reasonable timeline. Overall: Off peak is a good time to visit this location or on the earlier side. Set your expectations in advance because this is a popular spot. I look forward to coming back again. I love the ambiance with the train set and the bear theme.

Early breakfast during off season! It wasn't packed, plenty of seating, and prompt, kind service! The interior was very whimsical, train, outdoors, Christmas decor~ they cater to tourism for sure. The staff was so kind, open to answering questions, small talk, and recommendations. I felt very welcomed. Food that was ordered today was breakfast #2, 2 scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, home fries, and I asked for no bread. Coffee was topped off when needed. Food was satisfying but it wasn't anything amazing or worth a 30 or more minute wait. This place probably does get busy during seasonal times. This place is a solid good old typical standard breakfast place. What they succeeded great is the service and kindness towards their customers.

BEST pancakes I've ever had!! Be prepared to wait in line for a table, but totally worth it!

Rating: 4.0 Came to try this place for breakfast. It's a small cozy breakfast place located in white mountain area. Parkings are street only. When we came it was off season so the place was empty and lucky we made it right before they were going to close next day until May. We were welcomed and sat down immediately. We ordered some breakfast menu and I got the hungry cub. Mine came with french toast, eggs, french toast, sweet sausage, home fries, and french toast. We got a chocolate pancake to share and of course some coffee. The breakfast was pretty standard with scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon and sausage. Their home fries were skin on sliced potato which was not what I'm used to but still good. Sweet sausage was tasty and bacon was nice and crispy. French toast was pretty good. Their pancake was large and good but had a texture after that I was not a huge fan of sort of like undercooked batter. Coffee was pretty standard. The service was good and people were very nice. Overall I liked the place and it was a nice stop for breakfast. The service was great and price was reasonable. Food I think its pretty standard for breakfast place. I did like their french toast and maybe I will try their eggs benedict next time.

Went here for breakfast before hitting the roads while visiting for the weekend. It's small but we were seated fairly quick. Family friendly atmosphere. Got a good portion of food and the price was reasonable. Tasty pancakes! (See pics). Really did like everything on my plate. Service was pleasant and quick. Just be sure to check their hours before you go. Will visit again.

Irish Benedict. So yummy. Even their home fries are way better than most restaurants.

Expect a long line, but know that it's worth it. We make it a point to stop by once year during our family getaway. Everything is always delicious and stuff are always friendly.

Finally made it here during our fall trip and it was worth waiting outside for 30 minutes in a line! (Locals probably thought we were nuts) Ordered the hungry "cub" and "bear" breakfast dishes and there were superb. The maple butter was a nice twist and the crunchy French toast was mouthwatering. It was refreshing to choose iced coffee, which I didn't know was a thing for most breakfast spots as they usually serve hot. Will definitely come back when vacationing in NH

The service and food was excellent as usual. Three of us went there on a road trip from Maine. I have been there several times. Of course there is a line, but that's just the way it goes lol. My friends had the #3 , eggs Beni and I had the Irish Beni as always because it is the best that I have found

Yum. Yum, yum, YUM! This is a cute, rustic breakfast spot that you don't want to miss out on. The service is quick, the food comes in what feels like a blink of an eye, and your meal is bound to be super tasty. I'm failing to remember the exact name of the breakfast I ordered, but I think it was the hungry as a cub breakfast. It was home fries, one egg cooked to order, a slice of bacon, and a massive flapjack with a glob of butter on it. My husband got the ham and cheese omelette and loved it. My meal was awesome! And, the best part, they use only REAL maple syrup that was tapped and rendered down right in New Hampshire. I was so, so impressed by that! Definitely stop here for a filling breakfast!

Me and a group of friend were driving to Vermont for the weekend and we were starving and one of my friends insisted this was best place to stop!!! So we made the detour and Lincoln was adorable. This was a Friday morning and there was a decent line still but we only waited about 15 minutes! Once seated I got some coffee and all the staff were super nice. Me and a friend split the Hungry as a Bear and it was delicious. The pancakes were great and it was all delicious breakfast staples. Can't beat the price and it was amazing. A definite must stop if you're in the area.

Flapjacks is the perfect place to have breakfast before hitting the slopes to go skiing. The French toast is some of the best I have had. Definitely a must when in Lincoln.

Got there a few minutes before 7am. There was one guy waiting. Very cute place! All 4 of us got the cub dinner which was perfect. Buttermilk flapjack that was delicious. The maple butter was a perfect topping alone. Loved the home potatoes. Sausage was delicious too. Staff were all very friendly. Loved the old fashioned model train going around the ceiling tracks

From the moment you walk in, the experience is different. If there's a wait, you can help yourself to a complimentary cheese and dip tray while you wait for your table. Even if you're seated right away, you can still grab a plate for your table. It's such a nice touch that you don't see very often anymore. Their beer and cocktail selection is fantastic and changes with the seasons, so there's always something new to try. Then the famous homemade dinner rolls arrive and they're so good they put Texas Roadhouse rolls to shame! For an appetizer, we ordered the Mexican street corn dip. It had just the right amount of spice and was absolutely delicious. My wife had the blackened fish tacos, I ordered the Asian tuna bowl, and my daughter got the same bowl with salmon. Every dish was cooked perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. Just when you think the meal is over, they come around after you pay with a heaping scoop of homemade white chocolate. It's another thoughtful touch that makes the experience memorable. The prices were more than fair, the portions were just right, and the service was excellent. Restaurants like this where you truly feel welcomed and can enjoy a genuine family dining experience are becoming harder and harder to find. 5/5 stars. The Common Man is an absolute must-try if you're visiting Lincoln or the White Mountains. We'll definitely be back!

Tonight, I was in the mood to try somewhere else and suggested we eat here. We are both so grateful we decided to drive to Lincoln. The drive across the Kancamagus makes it an enjoyable drive to get there and home.. Now onto dinner. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and even helped when we had questions, as they know their dishes well. My wife chose the Burrata Chicken dish , and was very happy with her choice. For me, I chose The Sweet Corn, Bacon Ravioli ..This meal was so flavorful and was beyond what I was expecting. As we took 1/2 our meals home and a load of their bread, this meal was one of the better meals we've had and yet, the price for this dinner was about the same as we'd spend most anywhere else.

There weren't many people lined up, but we still ended up waiting about 30 min for a table. This seems to be caused by a lack of staff - we noticed tables weren't being cleaned up for a good 10-15 min after people left, and waitresses were rushing around. Honestly from what we observed - they could slash their waiting time by half by being more efficient and/or hiring busboys. But moving on. Food was definitely worth the wait! Boyfriend and I both had the "Cadillac" breakfast (because, well, our car) and we both loved it. He had pancakes with it and I had French toast - I *loved* the French toast. Delicious. Boyfriend also had a side of corned beef hash and I had a bite - it was my first time trying corned beef and I liked it a lot! He liked it too, and says he's usually picky with that dish, so... Overall we would return! Food was great and service was super friendly.

I had requested a window table when booking and we got one! The restaurant seemed full, with mostly resort guests. Very lively bar area, great atmosphere and lighting. No children in sight while we were there. Our waitress was very polite and efficient as well. We had the Caesar salad and fried calamari as appetizers; that's what we had last year and we loved it - still great this year. Boyfriend *loved* the calamari, it did have a "kick" to it - watch out for those jalapeños! He gives me that big parmesan chip from his salad and I love it! He had the 14oz striploin steak as main dish and unfortunately, wasn't too impressed. He found it a bit overcooked (had asked for medium rare) and it was kind of bland (that's probably his fault though because he had asked them to remove the garlic aioli usually served with it). Also - this cut wasn't a bone-in so the steak was bigger than he expected, and he couldn't finish it. He loved the asparagus and other veggies however, which were prepared perfectly. I had the napoleatan Ragu which I thought (from seeing pictures on social media) would be a MUCH smaller portion than what was served. It was tasty but I couldn't finish half. If you are boxing up leftovers it would probably reheat really well the next day (we couldn't as we are on a road trip. I mean, maybe I could have anyway. But it's a bit late to think of that now, Amelie). Overall it was another great evening... ambiance is most important to me when eating out and this place has it right. We liked our main dishes better on our 2025 visit though (pizza and shrimp scampi) - and would keep that in mind if/when we return...
