    Amy does thin, perfectly shaped almond nails and fills. Great pedicure too. Shop has 12 pedicure chairs and it's never crazy busy.

We usually go to Ocean Nails, where everyone is welcomed and treated with kindness, but we wanted to try somewhere new for a mother-daughter day. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt like we didn't belong. We were spoken to in a rude and condescending manner, as if we had never had our nails done before or didn't understand what a full set was. My mom simply asked for short nails with a basic color, and some of the employees laughed, which made us feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. Throughout our time there, we were stared at and talked down to, while three other customers who were Caucasian women were treated warmly, catered to, and made to feel welcome. The difference in how we were treated was hard to ignore. The salon itself was very clean and nicely decorated, but customer service matters just as much as appearance. We became so uncomfortable that I quietly told my mom we should leave, and we walked out without saying anything. We simply chose to remove ourselves from a place where we did not feel welcomed or respected. I truly hope this business reflects on how customers are treated. Everyone who walks through the door deserves to be welcomed, spoken to with respect, and treated equally, regardless of the color of their skin. I wish this business nothing but growth and success, and I hope future customers have a better experience than we did. God bless.

    I made an appointment and understood that they were in a temporary location while they renovate…read moretheir new place. The Front Desk lady was super sweet. And the temporary location was very convenient and clean but had limited parking. As they waited, there was a few ladies standing at the front desk, talking in Spanish and at some point, they got a little heated. I don't understand, but I could tell that there was some conflict. I just got on my phone and minding my own business. Within a few minutes, everybody parted ways, and this Sweet gal who was running the front desk came to me to explain that a client had gone to the wrong room and she refused to move. She repeated more than once as she truly apologize but this client was just not willing to budge. I was a little discombobulated by exactly what was being conveyed when she said could you come back at 2 o'clock today? I'll give you a discount. I'm never un polite and I told her no I would not be able to come back today at 2 PM as I drove all the way from Punta Gorda. But thank you and I got up and I left. I could tell it absolutely wasn't her fault and I don't even think it was the client's fault. I think that it was miss rescheduled mishandled by the office as a whole. Absolutely disorganized and perhaps because they're in a temporary location. So I didn't judge. Well I try me in this spa....perhaps in a big maybe, but only when they get settled and organized
