this place is awesome. i was on vacation 2 weeks ago down in the fort meyers area. i really wanted…read moreto get my nails done but not being from the area i didn't want to gamble by just choosing a nail spa at random. i was wise enough to ask the hotel concierge linda, where she got her nails done. i had noticed since the day that i checked in that she had the most beautiful nails. i figured that she would be the best one to ask. linda recommended adore nails to me and promised that i would be delighted with their work. the harbor plaza, where they are located, was only a couple of miles from the hotel. i was beyond thrilled when i called and learned that i could get a sunday appointment. we all know how difficult it can be to find a nail shop that is even open on sundays. when i arrived there sunday afternoon, i was greeted by very kind, warm and respectful staff. i noticed straight away that the entire spa was as clean as an operating room in a hospital. you can definitly tell that having a sanitary and sterile environment is very inportant to the management here. upon looking at the extensive menu, i opted for the dip powder manicure. it started with a nice soak. then the gentlest cuticle work i have ever had. they do not rush here like i have seen elsewhere sometimes. the nail shaping was very, very precise. once again, perfection is very important to the techs here. the dip powder treatment itself was very interesting. they use a 3 - step system to accomplish this. the result here is extremley durable and also looks great. this is way better than dealing with acrylic nails and the related health dangers. in fact, they specifically will not offer acrylics due to the health concerns. the last step was a clear gel being applied over the nails. the final results were basically astonishing as i had never had any shop back in massachusetts give me a manicure with this high level of quality. in total i paid only $60 for this top- notch experience. of course i felt obliged to also tip another $40 since this was the best manicure in my lifetime. i will say, i certainly felt like some kind of a movie star walking out their door with my gorgeous new nails. i just wish that i wouldn't have to fly over 1,000 miles to keep my nails looking this wonderful in the future. next time i am down in fort meyers, a visit to adore nails will be my first stop.

I'm not sure the reviewer who said she wished more time on the pedi because I felt the pedi was in depth and amazing! Not only did the technician rush through this process, I ended up with crooked nail installation, bumpy acrylic lay, and subpar replica of the requested design. I paid $80 + a tip (I try to tip regardless). I don't even live in Estero; I drive out of my way because I typically have a good experience here. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied! I've "been with" Hannah for many years now, once you finally find somebody good it is hard to let go, let me tell you. Prior to stumbling upon her, I had been eh, sorta happy with the other Brazillian experiences around the area. I've driven all over from Canton to Ann Arbor to Bham and back. It's not that the others aren't good, it's just that Hannah is better. She is comfortable to be around, which helps when you're halfnaked. The other thing that sets her apart is her technique and the products she uses - both make all the difference in a painful or near painless experience. Trust me on that. You wouldn't think it, but Hannah's brazillians truly don't hurt. Sure, there is the ocassional zing of discomfort, quickly remedied by some applied pressure from her palm. Though she is a full service studio (with the exception of men's intimates), she specializes in brows & brazillians. Brows are another thing that I value quality with and am super finicky about. I mean, it's Right On Your Face. It kinda matters.. I trust her with arguably the most important parts of my body (heh), and she completely deserves that trust. So yeah, if you are reading this, you are reading it for a reason, maybe you're looking to get started or just switch salons.. I went to Angel because she had great Yelp reviews. Yes she is very nice but no she is NOT a good waxer. She didn't show me how my face looked while/after waxing which was really bizarre but I thought maybe just with the masks it's different? She left a good chunk of hair on my upper lip, like it looked like she missed half. There was also a ton of hair left in my nose. It was super frustrating because I had to go back and didn't realize it right away while I was there because she didn't show me (which is normal practice in Chicago). I also had a Brazilian done. I felt like she didn't wait for the wax to get tacky and during the waxing process I was kind of like oh that's more sticky than it should be - but didn't say anything. Now I'm actually having hair grow back (and noticed some spots she missed) two days later. This has literally never been a problem before - and like I said I have been a consistent waxer for 2+ years at EWC. I am still a huge fan of EWC but just not the location or maybe just not Angel? I only gave 2 stars because Avery was nice enough to fix the lip/nose wax and did a great job.
