Assume that there might be a person with you you might like and respect if you knew them, whose life or somebody close to them you could be putting into danger through your choices. And if you disagree that their health and possibly life is really in danger, find a way to see that if they think it is, then the stress you are bringing them ought to be enough for you to put your mesh mask aside and put on a real one, at least when you are doing your job.

The knowledge test is straight forward and the driving depends on who you get as instructor. I give this school a 3 star based in the following: - The owner is a really good guy. I ran into some issues (payments) and when I contacted him he was approachable and very understanding. - The location. It's a great location to start driving on a moderately busy local road. There's tons of things around (cafe's, grocery, shops, banks, restaurants etc) in case you want to come early or you end up staying afterwards. - After I got my license I was still unsure of some small things which intuitively makes sense to experienced drivers but didn't to me. I could always call back to ask and people were accommodating. I take 2 stars off for the following: - Instructors, there's some great instructors and there's some bad. You will have to try out. With bad I mean a woman who was impatient with me trying to take things slow. She was clearly not in it to teach but to get paid. The good ones were very understanding, funny and patient. Ironically, the good ones are always free to teach early weekend mornings. Just a tip. - Lack of technology, this is a time where technology dominates for everyone's convenience. The system is set up so you can book classes online but not cancel them. Is it done purposefully? I don't know. To cancel you have to call ahead. Since purchasing the package, she has called weekly trying to schedule the remaining sessions, but the school was consistently unable to provide any appointments. When we finally requested a refund for the services they could not deliver, they refused to issue a refund and claimed they could not guarantee any service would ever be provided. Taking hundreds of dollars upfront, failing to offer availability for months, and refusing to refund unrendered services is completely unacceptable. We have been forced to file a credit card chargeback to recover our funds. Avoid this driving school

As an adult, I was…read moreone of those people who wouldn't even put their face in the water and now I can confidently hang out in the deep end and even go snorkeling in open water, something I wouldn't have considered a couple years ago. Yes, the classes are more expensive than most courses, but you spend a lot of time in the water with each class and you get individual attention with the small class sizes. Not to mention that being in a class with other students who were as petrified as I was made me feel like I wasn't alone. You also get a nice warm pool so you don't have to worry about staying warm and can just have fun. These courses are for true beginning students. Instead of focusing on strokes, they focus on being comfortable in the water no matter what you are doing. I tried several classes around the area before these and the instructors would dive right into teaching us the strokes and only had 30 minute class times. That's fine if you swam as a child and want a refresher, but didn't work for me as someone who had avoided water all of my life. Orca Swim classes were completely worth the money! I have no regrets and have since taken additional classes here or just gone back to enjoy the warm pool. As a note: This is one of two locations in the area -- the other is in Seattle. I've been to both and would recommend you use whichever one works with your schedule and your commute. The pool has both shallow and deep water, it also features a small hot tub. The water temperature in the pool is a consistent 90 degrees. Our classes are exclusive to this pool." Pros: 1) Importantly, the teacher was amazing with kids Cons: 1) The facility/pool looked horrendous. The floors around the pool, the bathrooms were filthy. The random chairs, some dirty , some clean, lack thereof etc... 2) Hot tub? it looked like a hot mess with junk toys and leaves at the bottom of it. 3) Parking situation is a nightmare.
