I said I was not going back to this store but I thought it would have gotten better! I was wrong! Also, I understand times are hard but some things are unacceptable and someone should be held accountable. This store is getting worse and really needs to be shut down!

Huge store with lots of items and very organized. Some of the staff do not speak fluent English but they're still friendly and try their best to help you. However, I've noticed the prices have gradually increased. I dont expect to be paying $15 for a preowned blouse or shoes. Even the kids toys can be $6+ for a car. I feel like the staff look up the items on Ebay and see how much they go for and that's how they price everything.

My favorite thrift store. Wide range of selection of clothing. Plenty of dressing rooms. Clean and organized.

Of course, you head to the thrift shop. The AOSC Thrift Shop is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and the first and third Saturdays of the month. The money they collect goes towards scholarships and small projects that help the Andrews Air Force Base community. They carry clothes, accessories, and household goods but are limited on space, so very little furniture is available. It is also a fantastic place to shop for a bargain, especially during PCS (Permanent Change of Station) season! Access is limited to those with military base access.

Thank you and God Bless You Maria. Now as far as the rest of the shopping experience: I have frequented this location maybe 10 times in the last 4-6 months. Their store is very clean and organized; I like that they keep well abreast of seasonal/holiday decor and seem to have a pretty diverse selection of items, specifically kitchenware, arts and crafts, stationery supplies, and clothes. They also have sections for tools/utilities, electronics, home goods, furniture, and books, but those selections haven't seen too much variance since I've started shopping there. Their prices, as others have stated, are not always thrift store ideal (I personally prefer 2A Thrift down the road, if we're comparing costs), but if you're willing to dig around, you'll almost always find great quality items that make most of the prices truly a steal. Plus if you can time the extra discounts, they have 30% off if you are age 50+ on Tuesdays, 35% off for Military, Police, Firefighters, Nurses, and Teachers on Wednesdays, and 30% storewide for their card holders on Thursdays. Word to the wise: their 7-day return policy ONLY applies to clothing (mens, women, and kids). ALL OTHER SALES ARE FINAL! They offer batteries and outlets to test out electronics so definitely make use of that before buying anything - take it from someone who's been burned before (thanks again x1000, Maria!)

On each pair of shoes, they offered me 30$. Just 30!? For EACH PAIR! These guys do not care about their customers they simply just wanna make some money from you without you knowing what you're getting played. I stay out in southeast Washington DC and I made my way all the way out there in the cold, just to get lowballed worse than I ever have before. These guys will just take your shoes for the most minimum price and resell them for 20x more than what you potentially offered them. These guys are snakes, the store is trash, and the employees are never any help. If you plan on coming here to sell shoes, do not expect to leave as a happy customer. Always make sure you read reviews before you go somewhere because now I'm saying I'm not the only one who's dealt with this and more people should definitely be aware about this "local community" sneaker store, that's all bullshit.
