They were both comfortable and enjoyed Savannah's presence and professionalism. I got my conch pierced here a few days ago by the owner, Jon, and had a bad experience. I've had…read moreother piercings before (at other shops), and this level of pain and swelling following the piercing was not normal for me. At first, he tried to use a hoop/horseshoe, which I knew wasn't appropriate for a healing conch, so I declined. I then asked about using a 16g, but he told me an 18g was fine. He used a regular 18g earring with a butterfly back. He didn't have flat-back jewelry and I was told swelling wouldn't be an issue. By the second day, I had significant pain and swelling. The jewelry was pressing into my ear, and the back was rubbing against my neck, causing irritation. While out of town, I saw another piercer who immediately said the jewelry was inappropriate--it was too short, not meant for a conch piercing, and the angle from the back was incorrect, which was likely causing the pain. She also noted bruising and told me it needed to be removed right away. She explained 16g jewelry should have been used. After further research following the piercing, I also learned that 18g jewelry in a conch has a higher chance of migration, which I wasn't aware of beforehand. I went back to request a refund but was refused. They offered to redo it or move forward with another piercing, but I wasn't comfortable moving forward with him after this experience. I would not recommend this place and suggest doing thorough research before getting pierced here.

He helped me with ear piercings I had to get redone because they were originally pierced by a teenage idiot (me). He was so professional and didn't make me feel stupid or judged for once being said teenage idiot, truly just wanted to make sure I was taken care of! All in all EVERYONE here is amazing, all the the artists come around and gas up each other while they work and are just always so excited to see people excited and that's rare! I sadly don't know everyone by name yet and haven't had the time to get tattooed by everyone but I definitely plan to because I trust everyone in that building! The issue was with Nate, another artist, that Toby brought down for some advice. I wasn't loving the design and was met with hostility and a cocky attitude by Nate. "I think Toby made a great design and you should just go with it". I responded with "it's on my body forever, so I want to like it" and he became super pushy. All the designs I suggested were shot down and he kept saying I needed something bigger with thick lines- despite me being clear that is not what I wanted. Toby did a great job with the cover up, but I found out AFTER the session that this was his first time covering a tattoo. I would have appreciated more transparency. Over all- Toby was great to work with, but Nate put a damper on things with his attitude.

He really took care of me and I honestly almost fell asleep a few times because I felt so comfortable and the way KC tattoos is so gentle.
