While heading to Tillamook we needed some coffee and found this spot off the highway and headed in the same direction our destination was at. Street parking can be found directly in front and around the coffee house. There was about 4-6 office-like chairs in front of the shop as well with a small table too. As we walked up we were greeted by an older gentleman listening to NPR and drinking some coffee. We walked inside and noticed a lot of knick knacks and conversation pieces. The man outside followed us in and asked us bluntly if we were just going to look around or were we really going to buy a coffee. I told him we needed coffee. The coffee is in a large reserve that you would see for office settings or buffets. There was no menu, no explanation of what kind of coffee we could get, and no real register (from what I could tell). We ended up getting 2 coffees for $4. The gentleman was nice enough to offer cold creamer (from a small fridge behind the counter of more knick knacks, picture frames, toys, and vintage things. If you need oat milk or soy creamer forget about it! You will not find that here. This is straight forward Keurig or Folgers coffee type of spot. There is a lot to look around at and cool vintage items hanging from each wall and even the ceiling. This "coffee" spot was definitely unique and one like I have ever been to so at least it has that going for it. HA! read more

The stories are true, this place feels like you've walked into an episode of hoarders and it's not a whimsy treasure hunt vibe, it's a don't touch stuff or you might catch a disease vibe. Nobody was around when we walked in, we gaped at the clutter, shared a look, and walked out. There were bugs in our faces and a poster of female ovaries on the table. I walked in, a little confused because it looked like someone's living room. I asked the guy for a coffee, he poured me a cup of straight black drip in a paper cup. I have issues with clutter and this antique store/coffee house goes way past my comfort level. The service was fine, but rather than choose an interesting local roaster, they serve Kobos Coffee (Portland). A very corporate choice. Five stars just because this is the weirdest place I have ever bought coffee in. I stopped in my tracks when I walked through the door because I thought I entered the wrong shop. The place is loaded with antiques and looks more like an eclectic antique shop then a coffee shop. We got two coffees from the carafe on the counter that looked more like an after thought then the reason this place is in business. I literally downloaded this app just so I could leave a 5 star review. He made a very good Macchiato in the traditional fashion and ground some beans for us. If we lived in Tillamook we would be regulars just so we could learn more about this interesting man and his business. Great little funky coffee house with a peace sign in the front window. Chess set sitting ready to be played, free wireless internet and a friendly owner that has lived in Tillamook his entire life. This coffee house came right out of the 60's and the owner looks as he did too. This little jewel of a coffee house is hidden on the side street off the main drag that can be easily over looked. I've over looked it for years and only found it because I decided to stop and walk around downtown Tillamook. This place is funky cool to bad it is only open from 7:30am till 5:30pm. This would be a great hangout place with all its home made fresh baked goodies. Smelling freshly baked cookies is hard to pass up when it's the first thing one smells as they walk into the store. It is dog friendly place so pooch is welcome to hang outside while one sips their morning joe. As coffee shops go for funkiness this tops the scale. A must see. read more

Well, if you think it's impossible to run a business with no marketing, no advertising and no customer service, this is your example of the simplest business ever conceived! I thought we walked into the wrong place when I saw every square foot of its tiny space engulfed in rummage sale items. However, with a keen eye and steady patience there were some neat things like two acoustic guitars. A couple of stars for having the brass to run a business this way and not give a damn! Our coffee was hot, though we poured the very last cup from the carafe and that was it, actually 3/4 of a cup for full price, haha...the owner left after we did, so maybe that wrapped up the day?
