Visiting from San Diego, California. Love trying new small business coffee shops everywhere I go. Not sure if you can walk up assuming maybe you can but I did drive thru both times. Yes it was so good I went two days in a row. Both baristas were very friendly. I told the one helping me I like a sweeter drink not super strong. I told her to surprise me and she made me an iced vanilla chai white chocolate latte with cream top and it was so good! I went back again today and asked her to make the same thing again. Very friendly and reasonable priced. Beach is right across the way. Grab your coffee and go across to enjoy it with the view. read more

Coffee was pretty bad. The espresso was most definitely burnt and tastes like they needed to clean their machine. The latte was also watered down and the drip was not fresh nor tasty. The breakfast sandwich was good but that was about it. Would not recommend getting coffee here. And if you do, be careful, the lids do not stay on well. read more

I wish I would have read more reviews. The coffee cake was alright, the scone was alright. But the coffee drinks here suck, which is their main thing. The coffee tastes cheap and their syrups aren't very good. The main takeaway besides forgettable food/drink is that the staff is RUDE. The main window girl openly complains about customers and is very impatient and just seems to have a bad attitude. Perhaps she doesn't realize everyone can hear her? The lady who owns it was grumpy as well, so that I guess has set the precedent for everyone she hires. I'd recommend driving down to Tillamook and getting ingredients or baked goods at Fred Meyer as opposed to the convenience of this place. Plus, they have a Starbucks that will serve you something better than Folgers. If you don't like people, you should seriously reconsider living in a resort town. I got coffee for my whole party and it was AMAZING! everyone wanted me to stop by dutch bros in tillamook, but i stumbled upon this place on the way! everyone said it was way better than dutch and they were all super happy about their drinks! we got an iced vanilla chai with cold foam, hot peppermint mocha, hot sandy beach, and a mango madness smoothie. all super delicious. guy working was super friendly and told me about some of the history in the town since i have never been! overall great place! read more

R & R is one of the best espresso stops along the Oregon coast. Not only is the coffee fantastic but the food is worth talking about, too. My husband and I stopped in every day we were at Rockaway Beach. We were big fans of the Breakfast Burritos (eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, cheddar cheese on a flour tortilla, $4.50) and both agreed there was a lot of value! Super filling and generously stuffed with ingredients. We got one every day and they were always tasty! The Muffins ($3.00) are from Costco. The Biscuits and Gravy ($5.00) was spectacular! For only $5.00 the serving was huge. There was lots of giant, delicious chunks of yummy sausage in the gravy. The biscuits seemed homemade, not the cheap crap that comes in the can. I'm a huge fan! This place is okay and friendly enough. They upcharge for cruelty free milks which is a peeve of mine, in a day and age when even Starbucks doesn't do that anymore. When I do go, I generally just walk there and then add my creamer when I get back home. They'd get a lot more business from my family and friends if they quit charging the cruelty free milk tax. This is a drive through so there really isn't anywhere to sit and hang out. read more

This drive-thru/walk-up coffee hut on the north end of town is one of the only places for early birds in Rockaway Beach. Good coffee, good bagels (lightly toasted with cream cheese), hardworking no-nonsense service. Its not a bakery. read more

One of my favorite parts of traveling is trying new places, especially trying new coffee shops. This one, in its quiet little corner lot, was flipping fabulous!! We could've made a pot of coffee In our AirBNB, but with tasty options like Tsunami and Snappy Turtle, why go to the trouble?! This coffee shop even beat out our previous favorite opponent, Dutch Bros. Served with a smile and usually a giggle or two, this was an addiction I hated to break. We did treat the kids to a few Smoothies also and if silence and empty cups was an indication of greatness, then we had it! Definitely make this a must try on your way thru Rockaway on the 101 or if you are lucky to stay in Rockaway, a daily experience. read more

The first lady that served us had horrible customer service. She was treating us like we're stupid, but we were just asking questions, as it was our first time going to this coffee shop. She also got the order wrong after she made it but we felt as if she was already so annoyed with us we didn't feel like we could correct her. Bad service. I asked for a drink without ice, because I don't like my drinks too cold. The drink maker forgot and tried to give me one she made with ice and argue with me that it comes cold naturally. (I get that, just don't want it ice cold.) After I insisted on getting the drink the way I wanted, she relented and just dumped it into another cup. The drink she gave me was diluted, half empty, and sticky. read more

Coffee snobbery has no place in Rockaway Beach. Choices are somewhat limited. This was a place to get a perfectly decent iced half sweet mocha for a perfectly decent price from a friendly woman. And my kid's BFF had a lovely iced caramel latte too. There was nothing wrong with that. This drive up is on the north end of town on the east side of the road a bit set back. Don't blink or you will miss it. I did the first couple times. It closes a bit early in the afternoon. Plan accordingly. The parking lot can get a little muddy. I was visiting the local area for a few days and stopped in for an iced caramel latte. I unfortunately did not like this drink at all, the latte was overly sweet which made it undrinkable and unpleasant. And I like sweet things! My husband ordered one of the lotus energy drinks which he often does at our local coffee shop back home. The energy drink was also so sweet that he couldn't drink it. The service was lovely, and we also ordered their breakfast burrito which hit the spot. The other thing that was slightly unnerving and made me uncomfortable was being asked if I'd like to tip. There wasn't a screen which prompted me, it was the barista asking "Would you like to tip me today?". It was off putting, as normally you are prompted by a screen, or on the receipt but this was not the case. I felt bad for wanting to say no, and also felt obligated. read more

Such great coffee! I was visiting Rockaway from out of town, and there were only a few options for breakfast/coffee. Thank goodness for Oregon's coffee stands. My boyfriend and I ordered two of their specialty lattes and they were SO delicious. We also ordered breakfast burritos because again, there are limited breakfast options on a Monday in Rockaway. The burritos (and probably most of the food) were microwaved, but honestly that didn't bother me. The baristas were friendly and helpful. I would go every day if I lived there! read more

Awesome. Coffee Shop in the smallest of towns. Rockaway Beach has a lot to offer and thank goodness for R & R. We're staying just down the road and needed our daily doses of caffeine. R & R is a little off the road and if your not paying attention, you could easily pass it up as the signage isn't great. But with 2 sides to order from your order is fast. What a great find. Fantastic little coffee shop. If you find yourself gong through caffeine withdrawals and realize EVERYTHING is closed on Tuesday's, like us, this is your place. The girls working here were so friendly and helpful. They explained the different options, why some milks are better for hot drinks than others and helped us pick the perfect breakfast!
