They took us in and looked and were able to fix the issue right away. They were so kind and told us because we had an old trailer the valves needed to be replaced and due to wear and tear they most likely got warn out. Overcharged and pressured for repairs I never requested I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes in Daphne, AL for a basic tire and oil service after being quoted $321 "out the door." When I picked up my vehicle, the bill was over $100 higher than the quote. Staff blamed a "call center mistake" but refused to honor the original price. They also printed a repair estimate for nearly $5,000 worth of additional work that I never asked for, claiming someone had "verbally authorized" it -- which was completely untrue. On top of that, parts of the job were incomplete when I got the vehicle back. They didn't put spare tire back under my vehicle like I asked and no oil change sticker was applied or updated. I've contacted Mavis corporate about the overcharge and false authorization, and I've filed a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Be careful here !! You might be paying for more than you get!!!
