Headshots done with Ease. I have been modeling professionally for 15 years yet I always dread taking new headshots. Something about it is very uncomfortable, this was NOT the case at 3 cubed studios. I was 100% comfortable and actually had fun. Mary and Justin are so laid back it made my session easy, Their professionalism was beyond comparison. Justin asked what kind of music I liked and happily cranked some Motley Crue on Pandora to help loosen me up. Mary has been on the other end of the camera before so she knows what its like and knew just what to say and do to help me get a natural smile. I also had a Fitness shoot with them, Mary is no stranger to this. She herself has been a fitness model and knew tricks how to make my muscles look defined without my face looking exerted. They were happy to have me bring my own make up artist and allow him to stay to do touch ups doing the shoot. Justin helped with the lighting and was quick to let me know if I had a hair out of place ( I know it seems minor but having minimal probs in the original photo to prevent photo shop is a big plus in my book) During the shoot Mary would have me take a peek at the camera to see what it was looking like to make sure I was content. Once we filled up one disc Justin loaded them on the computer while Mary and I continued shooting. At the end of the session they showed me the photos on the computer assuring my satisfaction. I left with a disc of all the photos in my hand and smile on my face. The prices are great and they often run specials. Quality product, easy comfortable session. After attending a couple of events at 3 Cubed Studios, I rented their space for my film production meeting. Having the use of the tables, chairs, couch, and projector was perfect. Parking was easy, the space was customizable, we could move into the beautiful yard for relaxing during breaks, lunch, or while working. We were able to store any drinks in the mini fridge. It was perfect, private, uninterrupted time away from any distractions, allowing us to truly focus. The owners are so nice and were extremely accommodating. Headshots are a necessity for all actors/models. Too often than not it ends up being a big hassle with pictures that aren't 100% you. That is not the case with 3 Cubed Studios. Mary Lou was the photographer that worked with the cast of Radical Dating: Finding Lasting Love After 40 to create new photos for our online dating profiles. She made what could have been awkward -- having your pictures taken, while being filmed and all for a reality dating show -- casual, comfortable and fun. And, had I been more assertive in the make up chair about less being more, for me, I would have happily used them. She captured so many great expressions and encouraged me to show multiple sides of myself.
