    Conned. I paid almost $8000 at the end of November on my credit card for Blinds from a company that calls themselves 3day blinds. Brett the sales guy came to my home measured very quickly gave me a price told me that the product I ordered would arrive between 5 and 12 December this year. I have never received the product. Somebody called a week ago to set up an installation appointment but told me they didn't have the product I told them. How can you install if you don't have the product I've had to report it to my credit card company in order to be able to get my $8000 back . Buyer please beware big time. This is a scam.

    I ordered shades darker then the blinds I was replacing yet the ones I got in fact seem lighter. Also see the differnece and imperfections in the attached photo. They claimed fabric was the same on both shades and since I had paid in full via their 12 month payment terms I had no recourse.

    If I could rate my experience with this company lower, I would. A one star rating gives this company way too much credit. Their name "3 day blinds" is an absolute fallacy, almost akin to their notions of customer service and fair dealing. We met with a sales agent by the name of Betty Pierre (buyers pls pls pls beware!) on 12/14/19. She took the measurements to our windows and claims to have processed our order. This was start of our unknown (at the time) nightmare. I truly wish we had checked yelp before. The agreement was that we pay 51% of the total balance and delivery/installation would be initiated by 12/26. It is now 1/6/2020 and nothing. During this time I have sent Betty at least one email communication and she never mentioned a delay in our installation. She also never initiated any communications on her own volition despite the fact that it's been over a month since our consultation. Nor did anyone from this makeshift operation attempt to contact us with a status during this extended wait period. We have been more than patient and finally today, 1/6/2020 at 5:30 am, I emailed Betty to initiate cancellation of my order. She did not even have to courtesy or professional decorum to respond. I called the corporate office and they looked in the system and confirmed verbatim - "it does not seem like your sales agent ever processed this order" and sent Betty an email to cancel the order accordingly (see attached picture below). Aside from breaching their contractual obligation, I now receive an email which reads that my order was in fact (now) mysteriously ordered. this is after, Michael Hancock read the notes on my account indicating otherwise over the phone. He did not address the delay, or their breach of obligation under the contract. Furthermore, Betty has yet to respond to any of my emails, despite being copied on all communications. She doesn't follow up and is professionally irresponsible. Absolutely should not be dealing with the public. The level of dissatisfaction is insurmountable and consistent with the other reviews on here and otherwise. We had guests for New Year's Eve and we had NO blinds- completely immobilizing and frankly, embarrassing. Despite putting down more than $2k on these blinds with the express expectation that we would have them by 12/26/19, nothing. Nothing but an email reading that we are contractually obligated to accept this non sense. This company and its irresponsible agents ruined our new year holiday, in our new home. That just doesn't sit well with me. This entire experience has been a nightmare and a fraud. My husband is a veteran and we pride ourselves on dealing with honest companies. Our holiday and money were stolen from us.

The business owner and one of her other employees that I was communicating with are very unprofessional. Their level of customer service is sub-standard, they are non-responsive to customer inquiries, and they do not pride themselves on customer satisfaction.     We bought a new home in September of 2019. We needed shades for our bedroom and our family room,…read moreand someone recommended Florida Living Quarters (FLQ). I believe the lady we talked to when we visited the store was the owner, and she recommended Hunter Douglas shades. We had never had power shades before and thought they sounded great so we signed a contract for three power shades, for just a sneeze over $3,700. The installation went OK and we were (and still are) generally pleased with the performance of the shades. When the battery pack gets low we know how to replace the batteries. We know how to replace the clicker battery when it gets low, and so on. Then last week one of the shades stopped working. It had been less than a month since we had replaced the batteries in that shade, but we put new batteries in anyway. That did not solve the problem. We went on Youtube and learned that there was a reset button, but when we looked where it was suppose to be, we found that our shades have no reset button. So, I called the store Friday morning to request a service visit, but no one answered, so I left a detailed voice mail, explaining my problem and requesting assistance. I also left my name and my wife's name and both of our phone numbers. I got no call back, so I called again later in the day and left the same message. I called the 3rd time and the phone was answered by the owner. She told me that she did not do business with Hunter Douglas any more. I ask for her help, and she said she would email me the name and phone number of some one who could help me. I gave her my email address and she said she would send me the name and number later that day. I never got it, so I called again this morning, (Saturday morning). The phone was answered by a young lady who struggled with her English, and never did fully understand our problem. She also took my name, phone number and email address. It is 10:00 PM Saturday night, and I still have not heard from FLQ, and the shade in my family room still will not open. I wish I had known ahead of time that FLQ does not feel obligated to provide assistance to customers who buy products from them. We certainly would have purchased our thousands of dollars' worth of shades from someone who cared. FLQ really does not deserve the one star I gave them. I plan to call the Hunter Douglas factory next week and see if they are interested in helping us get our shade working again.
