I've been coming here for years for my misc. glass and mirror needs and it's always a great experience. It's hidden downtown behind some buildings but there is designated customer parking for ppl coming in and out. There is a bay door next to the office where a ring goes off when someone walks in and then someone comes and greets you. You can call as well but I've gone in typically for framing work with my frames. They are already knowledgeable of thickness or smoothing edges if you tell them what you need the piece(s) and can give recommendations. They give you a call when your order is ready and pending what you need it doesn't typically take long. Super friendly staff, great customer service! 5 Stars for a mirror and glass shop that is remarkably quick and remarkably personable! My partner called to get an estimate on installing a mirror in a large wooden frame we have. The woman on the phone was courteous and gave him an estimate. First off- We went in on a Friday to drop the frame off and they called us with it fully ready first thing on Monday morning. That's incredible! We were thrilled with the quick turnaround. Secondly- This frame is one made and carved by my great grandfather and hols incredible sentimental value. It is also quite delicate due to the intricate carvings. They were attentive when we let them know to please handle it gently and with care and it was returned to us in the same condition as when we left it. A+ for that! Lastly- the customer service was excellent. Randy was there when we arrived to pick it up and he was not only so helpful in getting the large (and heavy) mirror into the back of our car, but he also asked us about the frame and commented on the craftsmanship. When he heard it was made by my great grandfather, he showed me some really cool features in the wood on the back that I wouldn't have noticed. He said he is a bit of a woodworker himself, so he really appreciated the piece and I have to say- it made my day! I shared the info he gave me with me family and it was just really special to know a bit more about my great grandfather's process and precision. Thank you, Randy! COVID note: They have a lobby area but have a sign asking you to go right in through the open garage doors to the shop so as to keep you from being in a small enclosed lobby during these crazy times. Good spot around downtown for custom mirrors. Recently went to White's Glass for a quote on a custom size wall mirror. They were responsive during their business hours when calling and they provided the quote quickly and a pretty short turnaround too. The price including delivery and installation was competitive compared to other shops as well. Leading up to the installation, they called to confirm details and on the day of installation they arrived on time and worked to get measurements and get the mounts installed before finally installing the mirror. Red and his team did a great job of making it look effortless and finishing the job quickly. Overall I liked the communication, professional ethic, price, and the turnaround time on this job. Absolutely exceptional service from Randy and his team. I called them yesterday to have a 38 x 39 mirror installed in my bathroom. The old one had to be taken down since it was severely scratched. I had just moved to Orlando from Chicago and the moving company broke the glass in my curio cabinet. I checked around online and some companies said they wont do custom glass. Ok, so some businesses might be boring, or not the type you really need to leave a review for and a glass cutting business isn't exactly something I would normally spend my time writing a review for. Except when you receive excellent customer service. The location is tucked away in the shadow of the huge Bank of America building in downtown Orlando. I stepped into a dusty old looking shop and found a nice older gentleman who looks like he could be Peter Parkers Uncle Ben. He was doing typical shop work. After speaking with Mr. White, he said he's been at that location for 52 years (I found that cool). I show him the piece of glass I need to have replaced, and luckily he does have it. He said it was an over priced piece of glass from out of the country, but he would give me a discount. I don't know why he felt the need to do that, but he did. I offered several times to pay full price, but he said "Just pass it on to someone else". I found that incredibly cool as someone who strongly believes in the "today you, tomorrow me" mantra. He measured the original piece of glass, measured out the new piece, scored, broke it, and sanded down my new piece. I cannot give enough praise for Whites Glass and Mirror. They are the real deal in professional glass cutting. Their customer service is over the top...a combination of professional craftmanship and personable service. Locally owned and operated, everyone that I came in contact with, from the ladies at the font desk, the technicians in the shop, to Mr. White himself, made me feel as if I were the most important client in the building. I Initially, I placed a small order for three small pieces of glass to be cut for some shelving...which, remarkably, they offered to do WHILE I WAITED. Who does that, these days? I was fully expecting them to tell me that my order could be completed in the usual two two three weeks....or something beyond. Totally satisfied, I placed a subsequent small order a week later over the telephone for some more shelving. That order was completed the very next day. Then, I decided to have a wall in a small hallway mirrored. Mr. White himself came out to do the measurements and the job was completed, beyond my expectations, within three days...two of those days being Saturday and Sunday. Genuinely fantastic customer service. My wife and I ordered 3 pieces of glass from White's to cover coffee tables and a dresser. They had everything ready in about one day and even gave us the little rubber spacers for free so the glass wouldn't slide. I actually ended up measuring one of the table dimensions incorrectly for a portion of my glass order. I needed a bigger piece of glass than I asked for. Completely my fault, however when I went to order the correct size glass the owner offered to credit me for the old piece even though I messed up. Fantastic experience and very friendly! I had a insulated glass door break (double glass). I call White's and they came out promptly and gave me a quote. They said about a week which was great because we were having a party for the wife birthday and need the repair before the party which fit our schedule. Unfortunately the glass which is made from a third party was held up because of equipment failure (not their fault). They explained the options and returned a week later with custom fix piece of wall glass. They also sealed the glass with EnduroShield which as 10 year water spots. My experience with Mr. White was just the opposite of the previous positive reviews... unpleasant and uncomfortable. I went in to White's Glass to confirm the correct glass sample I had chosen with my designer, and to place an order. Despite my having the actual name and photo of my design of choice, Mr. White directed me to a different design, which he had IN STOCK, and which he insisted was the same as the one I had chosen. After his persistent prodding, and just before he began cutting the glass, I noticed another sample displayed in his window with the correct design name. While the style was similar, it was visibly different, nicer and more costly - a CUSTOM ORDER. Mr. White was relentless with one excuse after the next, trying to get me to purchase something that was not my choice. After an hr., he admitted I was in fact correct, and the order was placed. Returning 2 days later to pick up my order was equally uncomfortable. Before leaving, I did tell him that I found him unpleasant to work with. His reaction was very threatening. In front of a female employee, he told me to leave his shop or he would call the police and have me arrested! I thanked the billing lady, turned and left. I found Mr. White to be a rude, unprofessional , and highly unscrupulous shop owner. read more

Terrible service. They called me about the bevel on the mirror and it costs more to put the bevel. I said no. No need to put the bevel on the mirror. Later on they charged 100 dollars more for the bevel. They don't admit that I told them no bevel. And they threaten me to put the lien on my property if I don't pay. Finally I got scared and agreed to pay and they just hung up rudely. It's totally a bad experience with them. Be careful. Don't do business with them. read more

I recently had the pleasure or working with Randy and Annie to get a glass top for my desk at work. Since this building I work in is rented we had the tedious process of having to get approval from the landlord for them to deliver and set up the desktop. They were extremely patient and had a wonderful sense of humor about the entire thing. Randy came out and did the measurements himself and he or Annie were in constant contact during the entire process. Yesterday the glass was delivered and set up and it looks AMAZING!
