She was responsive but if I had suggestions to tailor to my taste I was made to feel like my opinions weee frivolous. I would not hire her again.

We started looking for someone to decorate my parents new home in Championsgate, Florida(Orlando) Market. Honestly, I was afraid to reach out to Dream Vacation Interiors because she didn't have any reviews. However, she was close so we added her to the list of decorators to show up at our home for our interview phase. She gained our trust completely. My nxt case came when she asked for 50% down of her project. We had nothing but a contract and our belief in her. As a business owner myself, I felt wary but yet I went with my heart and gave her the deposit. I'm so glad I did!!! They did a phenomenal job, not only working w my parents in multiple visits making sure they filled their wishes but also In the results!! I have had my million dollar homes decorated by professionals in Ohio and I'm happy to say I wish I could fly Tammy and Melanie up here to do my next home here!!! Thank you, Joey Huang

AVOID Leonidas Design Studio (LDS)!!! For years I have been…read moredreaming of a new kitchen and my husband and I decided to renovate finally in OCTOBER 2022. A friend of 15 years just started out her interior design business, and after she insisted she could do it, we trusted her and decided to give it a go. We gave LDS a budget and also mentioned that we could not go over that. She said she could do it within the budget and put together a proposal, which turned out to be really vague offer and she also asked us to pay everything up in full! She was working on multiple projects at the same time. LDS contracted with us as a project manager/GC so we had no access to any of the vendors directly. One of her employees came out to measure everything in FEBRUARY 2023. In March, we reviewed the scope of work and also shared all the appliances with measurements that we would be purchasing and using for the project. We are IN APRIL and still no firm move-in dates yet. We were getting ready to leave for summer vacation. Every time I asked about the start date, she said that her vendors were behind on another project, etc. With the constant excuses and lack of communication, we requested a formal meeting with her and her contractor to understand where things were and to set clear expectations moving forward. On MAY 4th, the dumpster was finally dropped off and 5 months after we paid her in full, we had a demo-day! LDS confirmed that the demo folks would have all their tools, however they arrived with NO drop cloths or tape! LDA had an employee there for the beginning of the demo and then she left leaving the demo folks unsupervised. We had a water pipe broke and the kitchen got flooded! For all the drywall and pipe repair her vendors caused, LDS wanted to charge us $740! Instead, my husband had to fix all that. In AUGUST, the tiles were installed the painters came. I asked for a small container of white touch up paint and LDS said they don't leave any paint. The ceiling was included in the project and the painters left without painting it, had to call them back. The wine fridge was mismeasured, and the cabinets were off too. LDS wanted to charge me for another cabinet to replace it, even though LDS did not get the measurement correctly. I specifically asked for the trash to be on the right of the sink and LDS placed it on the left. She kept saying that the cabinets are backordered due to covid, being custom, etc. First delivery of the cabinets came on the last day in AUGUST, but we were missing another load to be able to get started. Second delivery came in SEPTEMBER and they had several damages on them. Those pieces got replaced and the first week of OCTOBER 2023, LDS scheduled the install on a day that I was actually away! During the installation, she once again realized yet another mismeasurement LDS did and wanted to charge me for the additional cabinet! One other cabinet was too deep for the install (also mismeasured) so the crew was not able to place it. Her "designer" recommendations were the following: "ask the electrician to move the switch, but if you get a different size cabinet it won't be aesthetically pleasing." We have been asking for the countertop installation as we were expecting company in December for a month. The fabricator came to do measurements and saw our mismatch faucets: the brushed gold for the water and white for the drinking water. LDS actually "designed" our kitchen with faucets in 2 different colors for the same sink. The sink LDS brought had 2 compartments instead of 1 that was on the proposal, and what she also confirmed later in an email. It had several chips on it and the box also had notes written about being a Home Depot Open Box item. We asked for the white faucet to be replaced so it matches the other, and she quoted us double vs what the rate I could find online. In late JANUARY 2024, our countertops were installed finally. LDS originally wanted to charge us extra for a tiny windowsill. What vendor does that on an expensive kitchen remodel? We had to wait weeks for her original vendor to do the backsplash. We were scheduled for MARCH 2024, but after the vendor kept cancelling on us several times, she managed to find 3 guys who worked really hard for 3 days to install in APRIL 2024. LDS did not send them enough supplies to do the job and later my husband and I also found out from them that LDS did not pay them fully. After several months of excuses, lies and stressful wait, the kitchen was completed in MAY 2024. It took all together 16 MONTHS (not including the time we were away). During the entire project, I was at the mercy of LDS' communication with the vendors and her professionalism. Instead, I received messages such as: * " I have 3 huge projects, lost money on yours and I have to get you off my books" * "LDS will not absorb any additional cost for your kitchen" * Trying to charge $150 for text messages or calls if reaching out after bus. hrs
