The experience has been beyond frustrating! Not only are there significant quality concerns with the shades that were installed, but the installation itself remains incomplete. The issues include: Uneven alignment and inconsistent side gaps Fabric edges that appear frayed/damaged Visible rippling/waviness on the valences that makes the finish look distorted rather than clean and tailored Side channels and trim that do not appear properly finished or perfectly straight Overall installation details that lack the precision and refinement expected from a premium custom window treatment company In addition to the quality concerns, the installation was not completed properly: The wrong size was brought for the master bedroom shades One guest bedroom installation was only partially completed The bathroom shutters are still missing The breakfast nook window treatments are also still missing For the amount we invested, this entire process has been incredibly frustrating and far below the standard that was presented during the sales process. I purchased a motorized, honeycomb shade from 3-Day Blinds for more than $1,000. It was for a 3-panel sliding door measuring greater than 144" since would be 100% guaranteed. After the first installation, I needed the installer to return when then blinds did not pass over the door handle. It was fixed. Before the warrantee was up, the blinds would not raise and lower evenly. The repair person said there was something wrong with the motor and I needed to get a complete replacement. It was free of charge, but it took more than 2 months to get the new blinds. They were installed. A few months later (2 nights ago) the same thing happened. They would not raise or lower completely or evenly. I called the company for my money back, but was told no! The agent said she would "WALK ME THROUGH THE PROCESS TO REPROGRAM THE BLINDS" but to no avail. She sent an email with instructions to troubleshoot the problem - they were incomprehensible. I asked for someone to come fix them, but it would cost ~$100. I said no. I am throwing the blinds in the trash! read more

Do not use 3 day blinds for Roman Shades. They make a product that is way below industry standard. My Roman Shades came and are not straight , fabric is wrinkled and are extremely cheap looking. I've always used Hunter Douglas products and decided unfortunately to save a few dollars and order from 3 day blinds... huge mistake. Quality is terrible. read more

I am so disappointed with 3 Day Blinds and caution readers to consider other providers. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and, after notifying them of problems with the installation, both the labor and quality of materials, they have ignored me. I have called them several times and continue to get one excuse after another, even though they will hound you for FULL payment in advance before they will even schedule the install. I cannot seem to get the service guaranteed with the purchase and must now consider other options to make me whole. The company refused to refund for the poorly measured merchandise citing fine print in the contract. The owner even lied to my credit card company. Now I use their company in Jupiter Florida. Emily did an excellent job with communicating with me and set it up a way for me to have this job done while I was in Maryland. The measurer and the star did a perfect job were extremely pleasant, friendly and precise and explained how to use the battery powered blinds. I would say they did an excellent job. read more

High pressure sales person. You're supposed to be getting factory prices, but they lie to you because that's not true. Starting price of what I selected was $6,342 and took negotiatibg all day but they dropped price to $3767. Haha they are so overpriced (totally not factory direct), average quality and so high pressured like you are buying a car. Do not recommend. read more

Awful company, do not use, I had my whole home done, verticals were measured incorrectly, 2 valances completely fell off, one hitting my shoulder!, they installed 2 wrong verticals in both bedrooms , verticals should have opened from right to left. They installed opening from center out. If they looked at my contract it clearly states one way left. Dealing with customer service is a total nightmare, extremely long hold times, and to get issues resolved is major effort, stress and strain. Do not use, avoid the mess and stress i have been through. Lesson learned . Learn a lesson from me. You will thank me later. read more

I have been trying to get my window shade repaired since November 2021.i previously wrote a review about the horrible experience I had. Someone from the organization contacted me about 6 wks ago and said they were going to correct the situation, as they had a new contractorl They then sent a technician who arrived knowing nothing about my missing shade that supposedly had been on the old contractors truck for delivery back in 12/21. He said he would report the issue. He returned a few wks later with a shade that was much too big to fit my window.! A few wks later they called and wanted to schedule a delivery of my shade, but in the interim, I sold my apt. and have no use for the shade now! A year and a half later!! Unbelievable! I should have read the reviews before I hired 3 day blinds. The salesman measured incorrectly. The installer never answered the phone and when he finally came, realized they weren't correct. They were sent back and after 1 month new ones were installed again, this time,, the mechanism doesn't work. I waited 3 months for completion of my "3day blinds". They were supposed to be repaired yesterday and I waited all day 1-5 for them to come. At 4:30, I called and was told he'd been tied up. A call earlier would have been courteous. It is now 2 months since I started my "3 day" blinds experience. They don't return my calls or emails and the job is still not done. At this rate maybe they should consider changing their name to 3 month blinds. The light comes through the blackout blinds despite their promise making them wider than the window frame would be an efficient way to resolve the issue. There were wrong measurements, defective blinds, every issue you can imagine. Plus I'm still waiting for the last set to be installed. They were NOT inexpensive so I can't even tell myself you get what you pay for. I probably should've guessed this would be my experience when the sales consultant was taking personal calls and texting during our appointment but I gave the company the benefit of the doubt since the sales rep is just a person. She actually turned out to be the only one who will respond to my texts albeit not offering any help or apologies. Look elsewhere. read more

The absolute worst! My sales rep ALISSA FORTE promised that any negative reviews were because of a previous 3rd party installer. She flat out lied. We ordered custom ELECTRIC blinds for over $20k they measured and installed the blinds and left with all the electric cords hanging from the blinds plus blinds were not working. I called and emailed my rep, no response. I called the company and they just transferred me around. Finally they came out to fix the blinds, and now another one isn't working and they still insisted they are not responsible for the hanging the cords, it is so ridiculous. They gave me a ticket for my "concern" to have someone call me within 2 days, the installer wouldn't allow me to talk to his manger when he was on the phone with him and told me "he'll call me". 0 calls from customer service, 0 calls from manager, 0 calls from sales rep. I'm a pretty reasonable person and tend to look for the positive. I have never had a worse customer experience than with this company. It's unbelievable that you could over pay by several thousands of dollars for blinds and they don't even complete the job and then ignore you. They came in and installed whatever they had. They forgot a blind, and all the valences were the wrong size and style except for the one motorized blind and one in the bathroom. I have been emailing, texting, calling for 2 weeks and they still haven't even ordered the parts or put in even a case number to track the fact they haven't finished the job. I have spoken with 3 separate customer service representatives who say they will get back and never do. The installer responds and then does nothing also. No one follows up with a case number, order, nothing. Every single time I call customer service they say it's the first time they're hearing about it and nothing gets done. I could not recommend a company less and am extremely upset I have to go very possibly go through legal litigation just to get a job done. A job I overpaid for by thousands of dollars. What a terrible, terrible, company. Update: finally got in contact with helpful people in customer service. Melissa and Carlson from customer support have actually been very kind and helpful and have finally gotten the report for missing parts from the installer and are starting to make progress on getting items ordered and setting up a date for installation once parts are ordered. If all goes well from here I will revise my review a bit to maybe two stars just because the first two customer support people never helped in any way and I had to be the one to reach out 4 times to just get a case started. Called and had a consultant come to my home and try to sell me everything but the kitchen sink. Over priced on their plantation shutters so ordered 2 blinds for newly installed hurricane doors. The quality of the products installed was very poor quality and nothing like we where shown. The representative was not actually a company employee they are independent consultants. When my order was not on time I emailed the company with no response. Texted the consultant with no response. Finally they scheduled the install with AGAIN a company that was hired and did not work for 3 day blinds. The installer noticed a defect on one of the blinds and claimed that they reordered the part. Two months later now with numerous calls and emails , no response . Do not ever use this company for anything unless you want poor quality products and zero customer service . read more

I paid $13,000 for motorized sheers & curtains for my sliding doors. They came out and installed them around 5 months ago but they were 4" too long, the track for the curtains struggled to move them since they were too heavy for the track they used, and it would not close all the way leaving a 2 foot open gap. They were supposed to use ceiling brackets that did not show and they wall mounted them, so I have to look at the hideous brackets that were mounted unevenly and look ridiculous when open. They sent out technicians 3 times to assess and have repeatedly told me they would take care of it, and someone will call me to make an appointment to reinstall, but they NEVER call me to schedule. I have tried calling corporate several times who will get the local company to call me, but that is it, they never go any farther. Worst mistake I have ever made, spent way too much on this garbage. Terrible company with the worst customer service! I'd give it zero stars if it were possible. I'm not sure how this business model works. We live in the Palm Beach County, FL area. They have design coordinators that come to your house and pass of the information to their main office and then subcontract the installers. There is no coordination between the parties. The salesman came to our home and after we gave him the requirements put together what we thought was a decent in home design. Three days after the consultation we called our salesman to inquire about the install and he had no answers as to when it would be intalled and said we should call the 1 800 number and ask for a status. We relayed to him that he was the salesman and also provided his number in case we had any questions. He said he was too busy at the time and couldn't provide a status. He did say the 3 day was from the time he put in our order and not from the time we gave him our requirements. On day 5 we called and asked "when are our blinds being installed?" His answer changed again as he said the 3 days start once the blinds have been shipped. So the 3 days comes with several caveates that could change depending on the salesman. From there the situation got worse as the saleman raised his voice at my wife as she was trying to get a firm deliver and install date (I don't think that was too much to ask). We didn't want to wait a week for 3 day blinds. Once the deliver arrived the installer came by the next day and did not know which blinds to install in each room. His comment was that the salesman didn't label them properly and he'd have to start over to try and figure it out. The first couple hours of the install was used to figure out where the blinds go. We attempted to call the salesman again but he was too busy to respond and again directed us to corporate so we called the corporate office and instead of taking rewponsibility they blamed the salesman and the installer. There seamed to be a lot of blaming within the company and all we wanted was blinds in our new home. My recommendation to everyone is to go to another company and if they are a subcontracter for 3-day blinds to use someone else. I even recommend going to Home Depot or Lowes before 3 day blinds and just hiring someone to install them. read more

If I could give a "0" star, I would. My mother, Sandy G, ordered a house full of blinds. Her consultant, Jonathan, is the only positive about this place. He was nice, and gave useful suggestions. The blinds themselves are nice. But that's where the "good times" end. Our real problem and issue was with their installer (regardless of their add, they do NOT install themselves). We were unfortunate enough to get Sunshine Blinds to install (Owned by someone named "Lady Ashley "Sunshine" and her husband.) The installers themselves were nice. Showed up several hours late, but seems like they are WAY overbooked everyday, so no surprise. They damaged the first window they tried to remove the prior blind from. Metal hanging down, drywall damage, etc. We were told we would get a call the next morning from Sunshine to send out someone to repair the damage.....You guessed it....no call. In fact, multiple calls, emails, and texts from my mom went unanswered. It was only after I discovered they had a Facebook Group they ran, and started sending Sunshine (Ashley), messages on this FB group, did we get a call. Ashely was rude, and implied that WE caused the damage, but eventually sent her husband out with the handyman to fix the damage. Her husband was actually pretty nice, and so was the handyman, but they came without a ladder, and other tools to do the repair. Lucky for my Mom she had these things, and lent them to the handyman. Twice, Ashley's husband commented that the original installer they sent took down the old blind incorrectly, and caused this damage. Fast forward to now, and again, MULTIPLE calls to BOTH Sunshine, AND 3 DAY BLINDS, to finally get the remaining blind installed, have produced NOTHING but promises that "Someone" will call "Soon", yet no one does. (Actually, Sunshine has not been heard from AT ALL after sending out her husband to fix the damage - 3 Day Blinds are the ones making the empty claims that they will get someone out) My mom has had to hire someone on her own to install the last blind. THIS COMPANY HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER.... it's disgraceful!! read more
