This review is long overdue. Busy with moving related stuff. Stephen and his company was referred by a friend, and I loved the motorized shade and selection of blinds when I visited my friend's new house, and I knew that I will definitely use them. Appointment was done, and Stephen showed up on time with lots of materials/samples for customers to check which one works the best for the house. Stephen is very professional. Although I have already done lots of homework by researching Prof. Google and Dr. Youtube, the information provided by Stephen and samples shown in the house made my research like preschool. Of course the decision was easy with professional guidance. Two weeks later, which was one day after closing, installation was done by Stephen and his employee Jacob. One motorized shade, eight blinds (two of those blinds were actually made out of three sectional ones), all done within 2.5 hours. I absolutely love the color of the whole selection, which matches the general tone of my house, and the filtration index of the shade recommended by Stephen was perfect, so that I can get plenty of natural lights but does not sacrifice privacy. So far, the motorized shade and all blinds work perfectly well. One minor thing of one of the blinds was solved within seconds after talking with Stephen over the phone, by the way, he responded very promptly and the instruction was precise and on point! Should he do regular screens for patio/porch as well, I would definitely do business with him again. His speciality is motorized screens which is beyond my budget and my need at this time. This review is long overdue, but still wanted thank Stephen for the lovely and quality work he did in our home. When he came to the house for an estimate, he was super patient because I was so indecisive, and was able to give some great recommendations based on my needs and preferences and had tons to choose from!! I had gotten multiple estimates from several companies including Costco, and Shades West beat their prices by far, without even knowing what they were. The custom order took about 6-7 weeks, and right when the shutters and blinds came in, he called to schedule installation. Was punctual, respectful, and the work and QUALITY of the shades was amazing- I also got the newest style of shutters so I didn't know what to expect. Our home either came with no window coverings or the existing ones are super poor quality.
