Back in November 2025, I ordered 11 plantation shutters with 3.5-inch louvers, as clearly specified in my signed contract, which I have included for your review. However, the shutters that were delivered and installed contain 3-inch louvers, which materially differ from what I contracted for. At no point was I notified -- verbally or in writing -- of any change to the louver size. I did not approve any modification to the original order, nor did I receive any written amendment, disclosure, or authorization reflecting this change. The merchant is now claiming that their designer informed my husband that the louvers "needed to be" 3 inches. This statement is categorically false. No such conversation occurred, and even if it had, there is no written documentation to support a change to the signed contract. I would never authorize a material alteration to a $6,000 purchase without written confirmation. After this dispute arose, I reviewed publicly available consumer feedback, including Google reviews and AI-generated summaries of customer complaints. These sources reflect that other customers have reported receiving products that did not match their original specifications, including shutter size discrepancies, post-contract changes, and claims of undocumented verbal approvals. read more

The sales rep was great. They installer was nice to deal with. But there is an issue with one of the blinds that was installed. I called and asked them to send someone out and they said they would. No one ever called or came out. I emailed the twice and they opened a case, but I have had no contact. I am not happy with this company and am very sorry that I picked them to do the work. read more

We originally set up an appointment with 3day blinds on April 18. Fully expected that 3days was marketing and it would take a bit more time. It is now July 3 and 2/3 of the order have been installed. Not all of the process has been a disaster. Consultant came out quickly. Spent a good amount of time with my wife, Kathleen Otoole, to get the measurements and types correct. We ordered some of the best items they offered including motorized shades. We even expanded our order to include bathroom shades. We clearly identified materials and types and the measurements were extensive. The process went downhill from there. Multiple separate orders were placed which sent out multiple automated emails from 3day setting up and canceling appointments through email. We received multiple emails securing the order and we, of course, paid up front. We figured three day blinds would surely be delivered within two weeks. Unfortunately the consultant didn't work to make the situation clear and we had no idea what was happening from the order and payment until more than a month and a half before hearing from them. They scheduled an installer. And this time he only had one third of the order. He installed it. But he had no idea where the rest of the order was and as always it was difficult to get the attention of our consultant. Eventually she explained there was some delay with the other two rooms but she was working to make sure that they were moving forward. Move forward another month and she let us know they were scheduled for delivery and our installer would reach out. As now we were up against moving in we asked if she could help us get scheduled. She said installation is separate and we would have to call the installer and ask them to move quickly once delivered. We called them and since they didn't have eyes on the order, they couldn't promise an early install. That's reasonable as they could not see it so we waited a few extra days for the I stalkers to come and finish the job. They did show up a bit later than we hoped. But they showed up and what install was done was good. Unfortunately, he could only install one of the rooms. He said the other drapes were completely manufactured wrong and he could not install. He said they would have to reorder. And reinstall. He left. We heard nothing for about another week or so. I just reached out for a status. Our consultant said ahead of time asked but has not heard back. We reached out two months before we moved in. We have now been moved in for a month. We hobbled together shades from target so our neighbors wouldn't have to watch us daily. We selected three day blinds because three days suggested faster than most. We are three months out now, no shades on the most important windows in the home, we paid upfront and in total. Frustrating is an understatement. But they can still make it right. Get us notification of a progress. Get us a date when they will be done. Ensure it is expedited. And make sure on your side that a great install is quickly scheduled AND completed. Quality/Value I understand that this Hunter Douglas brand is more affordable, however the level of quality of the vertical blinds was disappointing, especially for the price point. All other faux wood blinds were ok, I also appreciate the ease with adjusting them. Service I had to have two additional appointments for replacement because the replacement blinds were damaged, then on the next visit the valance was incorrect. The other major issue was scheduling, reserving full days to wait on an installer isn't so fabulous for people who work day hours. I understand reserving a full day for the install but when products fail or installers are an hour late and dates must be rescheduled, the company should make special accommodations for their customers. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was given an appointment time of 11:30. I received an email at 11am saying the consultant, Karen Carrerro, would be here within 1 hour of the appointment. She confirmed the timeframe the night before. At 11:45,the day of the appointment, I text her to see if she is still coming. She didn't reach out saying she was running late. She texts and says she is. by 1:30 she texts me and says her appointment ran over and she needs to reschedule for tomorrow at 9am. Are you kidding? I would never, ever spend my hard earned money that lacks customer service and a complete disregard for a potential customer's time. Absolute worst customer experience ever. I had a wonderful sales consultant that ordered 2 custom blinds for me in June 2023, they were installed in July 2023. At this time, we noticed the blind chords were not long enough to reach to bring the blinds up and down. She submitted a replacement order for me in late July 2023. New chords were not received until September and were the wrong color. New order was submitted for the correct color and was not sent to installer until end of Oct. Installer only received ONE chord, not two as required and I now have to submit ANOTHER REPLACEMENT ORDER. I must have called 3x a week asking for an update on the order, status of the shipment, etc. to ensure this would be corrected in a timely manner as this is for a rental property with a new tenant starting Nov 1st. Every time I called, the customer service rep was confused by my situation, couldn't find the order, couldn't give me information on tracking or connect me to the right person, etc. This was after I would wait on hold for 5-10 mins. For 2 blinds that cost me $1200 I am extremely UNHAPPY!!!! read more

Worst company I have worked with. I ordered custom plantation shutters. The company charged me for my remaining balance prior to the installation date which I did not agree with. When the installer Kim came out that week she began installing and everything was not aligned. Most of the product was damaged and could not be installed. I complained about what was installed and they came out the next week and re installed the shutters leaving holes in my windows ( which we just painted). Today I received an email that the shutters had been installed. But nothing was installed today . I called to complain and all I got was sorry. So here I am months later with no product even though they took my money. I am currently trying to get my money back. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY read more

Not even within 3 months of installation, the vertical blinds began to gradually fall off the brackets and could not turn the rod. The original installer came twice to fix the blinds. He explained to me that I need to make sure the blinds are properly overlapped when I turn the rod, otherwise the cord will get jammed. The installer came out again and installed a new set. We had new blinds installed in October and it's now mid December and the project is still not completed. We had 2 instances where they came to install the valences but turns out they were the wrong size or was missing the correct parts. Now I'm having difficult getting the "case manager" on the phone to discuss the status of the valence. Product is good but the execution and customer service is awful. read more

In early November 2023, I ordered roller shades for the entire main floor of my new home. After inputting the order into the computer, the designer, Jenny Fortney, informed me the material needed for the shades was on backorder and the shades couldn't be installed until January 2024. I agreed to wait and paid half the total amount due. Jenny Fortney, the designer, told me to expect a call in January 2024 from the installers to schedule installation. On January 31, 2024, I still had not received the call to schedule installation. I called Jenny Fortney, but my call was not answered so I left a voicemail asking her to call me back as soon as she could. I then called 3 Day Blinds. After waiting on hold for what seemed like forever, a rep came on the line. I explained the situation to the rep and, after being put on hold again, was informed that the material for my shades was unavailable. I have no idea when 3 Day Blinds was made aware of this, but I waited well over 2 months, closer to 3 months, for my shades to be installed and 3 Day Blinds never contacting me about not being able to fulfill my order...... while sitting on large amount of MY money. The rep, Elizabeth, told me she'd investigate the situation and call me back. Guess what? She never called back. Jenny Fortney, the designer, also never responded to my voicemail and never called me back either. So, 3 Day Blinds is sitting on a large amount of MY money and has provided absolutely no service. I called 3 Day Blinds again this morning. After speaking with 2 customer service reps and sitting on hold again for too long, I was told I'd receive my refund, but the rep wasn't able to give me a timeframe for the refund. I was told the cancellation had to go through their accounting dept first and then it would be 14 days after that. The rep couldn't give me any idea how long their accounting dept would take to handle the cancellation. I asked if it would take one day or six months for the accounting dept to do its job, but the rep was not able to provide any information on that. Unbelievable! Considering other reviews on this site and others, I more than likely will have to spend more of my time trying to get my money back and may find this sham of a company trying to find a way to not give my refund. If anyone is reading reviews to decide whether or not to use 3 Day Blinds, please heed my warning. This company responds to your initial request for consultation almost immediately, takes a large deposit from you and then you are on your own getting the service you've already paid for. Go with another company, a company that values its customers and stands by their word. 3 Day Blinds is one to avoid at all costs. Remember, the extremely friendly designer, Jenny Fortney, never returned my call regarding my order and also the first customer service rep, Elizabeth, never got back with me. At first I was very happy with 3 Day Blinds. They came out quick to measure, ordered and installed quickly and they look great. One blind was broken at installation and the installer said he had put in a request to have it replaced. I haven't heard back from them. I've emailed the rep multiple times. I try to call in but the automated system always just hangs up on me and I can't get a response. Be careful...their lifetime guarantee is useless if they don't answer the phone to handle repairs. read more

I just wouldn't trust any other Blinds & Shades business, and I interviewed several. They really are the experts in all of the new styles and helped me choose what was exactly right for my needs and my budget. I have delt with blinds to go for 25 years, we had our kitchen remodeled and my husband came across an ad for 3 day blinds. I was skeptical at first because I have always measured my windows went to blinds to go and never ever had a problem. So the sales women comes out and we signed up that day, she said that there will be 2 installments on my debit the first one that day upon signing then once installed the 2nd installment would come out. Ok no problem but when I went to check my account the next morning they took the whole amount out! And thats fine had to pay it anyways but don't tell me one thing then do another! Now I am all installed and notice something isn't right with my back door closing we then notice that the valance on the door is hitting my newly painted kitchen wall so I called the sales women and she said to remove the valance and would have someone come out and re measure. I didnt hear back from her so I sent out a email on April 28 and she did respond to that and said that she put a work order in and I would hear from the installer. I waited a couple of weeks and 'called her again and got voice mail, waited a couple days and called again left voicemail and nothing!! I don't appreciate being ghosted like that, I spent good money and I should have known from the first day that this company would be a problem once they hit my debit card for the whole amount! I called the toll free number on the 24th and the gentleman was very helpful and apologized and said the installer would be in touch with me. Here we are June 6th and nothing yet so I gave that number a call again and got another gentleman very nice basically told me the same thing and said if I dont hear from the installer within 24 hours to call back. The problem is every time I have to call back I have to go over the whole story again! This is unexceptable! I don't like to give a bad review but I spent good money and now the valance has been sitting on my new counter top for almost 2 months so think twice maybe 3 times before going with this company! I ordered Norman brand shutters(sold through 3 day blinds) for upstairs (early July) of my home.In addition to the new order Norman was suppose to fix an ongoing issue with existing shutters for the downstairs of my home. After waiting for over 5 months for a response on the fixing issues with my current shutters Normans responded by billing the for new shutters instead of repairing. What kind of warranty is this? 3 Day blinds went ahead and charged my card without my consent. I did not feel comfortable with moving forward with any project through 3 day Blinds and requested to be reimbursed. Currently 3 day blinds are refusing to reimburse me for the new shutters even through they have not been installed. This is overall bad warranty policy and bad business practices. You must be careful giving any credit card information. 3 day blinds will keep your card information for months and charge it without letting. you know anything. read more

Get your blinds from somewhere else! The saleswoman Bridgette came out right away and measured for our roman shade in August. Not sure why they are called 3 day blinds when it takes 3 weeks. The installer came and hung the shade but it was 1/4 inch too short. This was a $500.00 simple shade. Unacceptable. After numerous emails and multiple calls, an installer came out and said he it was a measuring error from the salesperson and they would fix it. Then no follow up. I had to call 4 more times. No reply. Emailed multiple X and after getting upset after chasing them down I was promised by Laura Sifuentes that she was the case manager and would have to RESEND another installer to measure. No one called like promised. Sent 3 emails to Laura and no reply. Here I am 5 mos later and my next step is to report them to the Credit card co and the BBB. FIND ANOTHER RETAILER. So disappointed with customer service --- no response after weeks of calls and emails. They messed up measurements and valances don't fit. We are disputing charge with credit card company since the work is unfinished. We paid full $1,900 and now regret. They have not shown any interest in doing the job right. Wow. So sad about the other people who had a bad experience with 3 Day Blinds because my experience was anything but. Had many new roman and balloon shades, and wood blinds produced for a new build about two years ago and love them all. Ann Eglington, the local designer, came out with many choices of fabrics and was very helpful with her guidance and knowledge. No problems with anything being wrong or any delays; all was smooth. The installers were efficient and clean. Ann also came this summer to assist with my choices for bedroom curtains. Another great experience having these made as well. I didn't know where to start when I was trying to figure out new blinds and I came across an advertisement and took a chance on 3 Day blinds. I am so glad I did. Stuart Janoff came over and discussed all my options and did not pressure me at all. When he left, i stared at the windows, completely changed my mind and he happily came back to discuss my 2nd thoughts. Together we came up with a plan that was in my price range and would look great in my space. The final product was installed quickly and carefully and by the nicest installer. I am confident that 3 day is a great company just by the people who are out in the field. So sorry I did business with this company. After three weeks not one of the 9 windows I ordered blinds for is complete. Installer was horrible! Blinds are not measured correctly and "customer service " is unresponsive. I have had to take this dispute to my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! Update- my credit card dispute and Yelp review prompted a response from 3 Day. After another round of incorrectly measured blinds and almost 3 months, my blinds are installed correctly. 3 Day refunded my expedited shipping charges plus $200. If we could return every blind/shade we ordered from this company we would. It began with a kind sales person who came to our house and brought samples. We knew that we would alter the order as we weren't sure of everything that we wanted from that first meeting. What we didn't know was that based on their system of invoicing you don't receive hard copy and everything is done online- AND you must put a deposit down to get to a final number so you must sign the touch pad and your credit card is charged a deposit. That's where I blame myself- stupid!! Who pays for something to get a quote? We did because we thought 3 days and it's done! Nope! That was November and since it was close to the holidays it took 6-8 weeks for special orders which if you have them measured to fit your windows means it's a special order or no returns since someone qualified has to come take measurements on another day. Then if you change your order good luck getting the credits applied back to your card! We had proof of a new order and cancelled original but the 3 day blind system quickly broke down. Once we were installed they kept saying we still owed them another $400! We provided our personal credit card statement which proved we never received a credit. But they kept sending it to another person on the chain. It took having our credit card company willing to back us up and our willing to fight them if needed and then including the sales person on our emails to finally get someone to open up their own 3 day invoice to see we were right. This company finally agreed they were in the error and the sales agent felt helpless I'm sure and apologized but I still would never have done business with them and would not recommend them to anyone ever based on the invoice system! I just had my blinds installed yesterday. I had several windows that needed window blinds/drapes. Most difficult was my front window which I have been struggling with for years myself. I have tried all kinds of curtains and they never looked right. My designer, Avi Codio, was very good. She helped me choose window coverings and fabrics. She designed the look for that front window and it is beautiful. My house looks updated and modern now. I am very happy with all of Avi's suggestions and with the installation of the blinds and drapes. Avi was also present during installation to make sure everything went well. I really appreciated that! My only reservation about the company is the cost. I won't be able to afford this company for the rest of the windows in my home. Please do not use this company. They have total disregard for you personal space. As they were installing the blinds they moved the bed which caused two large gashes on my hardwood floors. One of about a foot and another of about 6 inches. I would have helped him move the bed, but when I asked he said that he could do it on his own. I came back ten minutes later and saw the gashes. Already in the van about to leave without telling me about the floors he started blaming me that it was my fault that the bed was not moved when he arrived. How hard would it have been for him to have gotten me once he realized that he could not have moved them without damaging the floor.. He was never going to say anything as he was already in his truck about to leave when this happened. Per the blind service... it was great and they look good, but when they cause more damage then the benefit... who needs their business with lack of regard for your personal items and space... They sent a guy out to my house. He was 20 minutes late. I told him on the phone to call me if he would be late. I was looking for vertical blinds for a Pella sliding door 76" x84". I told him that I had a doctor's appointment. He said oh we should reschedule because this is going to take a long time. I said you can't do this in 40 minutes that's left? I said what price range are we talking about? He said well we can do $1,000. I said $1,000? He brought two samples of blinds on a keychain type thing. The one-set were fabrics and the other ones were vinyl. Tell you the truth, I didn't see anything that was different than the vinyl vertical blinds that they sell in Walmart for $25. And you can call the company and get color choices. Then I looked online at blinds.com and other companies and most prices for were for $135. This isn't even a big sliding glass door. He told me the same thing, that he would need a deposit to order the blinds, and then he would have them in in 3 days. I got better things to do than spend $1,000 on a sliding glass door for vertical blinds when I can get a much cheaper from other places. They sent so much advertisement in the mail that they're the cheapest, buy one get one, get a 20% discount. False advertising. He gave me a price of $560 and another price for $630. Don't be sucked into their advertising. $560 or $630 is way too much to spend for vertical blinds for that size door. They can keep them. There was no discount. They are the highest read more

I am writing with an update to the previous review. After all of this, a customer representative finally got in touch with me and provided replacement honeycomb blinds. I paid the original $1300 but they now didn't require me to pay the difference for the honeycomb. He also expedited the blinds and they are now finally installed in the house.
