I was visiting a friend for the week who invited me to join her on her morning workouts at 3 Elements. I am a nurse and have been a yoga, meditation, and mindfulness teacher for almost 20 years, as well as having been a runner, cross-fitter, and weight-lifter. I've worked with some very good teachers and instructors of body/movement modalities. And the folks at 3 Elements are some of THE BEST. Each day had a challenging, yet do-able workout that was fun and safe. For every exercise, the trainers -- all friendly, professional, and clearly skilled -- offered modifications or levels or challenge in a non-competitive manner. They struck what I think is the very hard balance of encouraging good effort without pushing people to do more than they are capable of or ought to do. There was a comraderie among the group of morning regulars which, to me, speaks to the kind of culture the owners of 3 Elements have created and facilitate for both their trainers and their clients. My only complaint is that I had to leave after a week! I actually saw changes in my body after one week of working out with the 3 Elements crew. I take my 11-year-old nephew here for CrossFit a couple times a week, and the gentleman he works with is so good with him. It's almost impossible to get him off the computer and get him motivated to do activities so we really appreciate the effort. read more

I absolutely love 3 Elements! The trainer led workouts are really effective in shedding fat and building muscle. The workouts are always different and challenging, I've never been bored by doing the same thing over and over. The trainers always take into consideration the student's limitations and offer modifications for each exercise. As a fitness connoisseur, I can not even count the amount of fitness centers I have been to. 3 Elements Lifestyle BY FAR, takes the cake (or should I say takes the cake out of you!). I'm not even sure where to begin with this place... the facility is pristine and has the newest fitness equipment on the market, some of the workout gear I have never seen before and hit muscles that I didn't even know existed! The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and above all they care about your success as an individual. Everyone here is very hands on and wants to see your progress, unlike other gyms that I have been to. The classes are structured in a unique way to get a great workout done with in a timely manner. I know that Dave, Eric, and the rest of the crew are going to do big things. All said and done, there is NO PLACE that compares to this facility. I highly recommend 3 Elements Lifestyle to anyone that wants to make a change in their lives. This has to be one of the most heartfelt reviews I have written. Because of the fact of coming and joining as a member at this place has forever changed my life. From day one I was greeted and treated with great customer service and attention. In no time I felt at home and became one of the regulars. To be honest, before coming here it had been years since I was committed to exercising and getting healthy. I first met Dixon who was very honest with me and encouraged me to get moving. They offer great group classes here or if you prefer personal training it's available as well. I chose to start with a personal trainer. This is where George comes in. This young man took on the task to train me 3 days a week. Well, I have to say he did a great job of making me feel comfortable and not intimidated from day one. He worked with me at my level and each session I have ever had with him was challenging yet he stood by me to keep working up my intensity and strength. Because of Dixon and George, I have a new view of my potential and my health. I feel strong and way more healthy. I have lost weight and lot's of inches all around. These guys will never know what an impact they have made in my life and I will forever be grateful. Thanks for making me feel at home at your gym and welcoming me and showing me that I could change my health and fitness. 3 Elements is awesome! I train in martial arts and prefer to have my workouts more challenging, but not to the point that it causes injuries. The fitness programs at 3 Elements are fun and superior to the typical classes offered at gyms. The fitness classes offered are perfect because they are taught by highly qualified trainers that ensure that everyone reaches their fullest potential. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. When I started at 3 Elements, I was overweight and out of shape. I had never been very strong before. Within about 4 months of working out here, I was down to a healthy weight and over the last four years, I've upped my strength and stamina to levels I never thought I could achieve. They have classes at 6am, 9am, noon and 5:30pm so they can accommodate a variety of schedules. It may be a bit pricy compared to traditional gyms, but the trainers here are superb and will work with you wherever you are at. So it was worth every penny! read more

At 3EL, I feel that I always get an amazing workout in a safe and supportive environment, alongside enthusiastic instructors and fellow members. ANYone can work out here, whether you've never taken a fitness class before, are recovering from an injury, are an elite athlete, or simply want to sweat out the stress at the end of a busy day. My favorite part of 3EL is that instructors are able (and happy) to modify every exercise to accommodate everyone, so even if there is a broad range of abilities in a given class, everyone can get a workout that they can be proud to have accomplished. As an endurance athlete, I've seen great personal results from my regular workouts 3EL, including major increases in core strength and a 20-minute decrease in my half-marathon PR (personal record). I truly believe that attending workouts at 3EL was a key factor in these improvements. I brought my 12-year-old son there two times a week during this summer. They got him sweatin' pretty good. It was always a great workout.. and all the people there are very attentive and eager to help everyone succeed. Getting ready to go into police academy and my friend turned me onto this class. I went the first time for free to try it out. It was quite enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I joined them the same day to go until i start the academy. Every workout give a challenge and the instructor makes sure you are doing the exercises right and pushing yourself to go the extra mile. Each class is about an hour long with multiple times throughout the day from 630am-630pm. Don't waste money with an expensive personal trainer who will tell you what to do when you are already doing it. I highly recommend these guys! read more

For what it's worth, I myself work in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and the first time I worked out here was a field trip with my exercise science class. You better believe we got worked! I knew from that moment on I HAD to become a member. I have been in the fitness industry for 27 years. I have seen every trend come and go. I have always wanted to open my own facility but couldn't put the correct team together. This place has done it all. From the location to the instructors to the type of equipment, they have thought of it all. This is not your local box gym. There are no machines. This is perhaps my third review in ten years. I just don't write many. And I want to support 3 Elements. It was Conejo Valley's Senior Concerns' fundraiser for Meals on Wheels on June 7. Maybe 1,800 runners. You could do a 10K, 5K or a mile. I've never run in any race. I chose the 5K. I've been coming to 3 Elements for almost seven months now and I'm delighted that more and more of me is coming through, coming out. I was able to do the 5K with grace, purpose and ease because of the encouragement, patience and mostly love and respect the trainers at 3 Elements provide. They want me to succeed and I'm feeling ever more successful and acknowledged with each level up. Running this 5K was a definite level up. What's so cool is that everyone at 3E -- trainers and clients -- celebrate every level up. Whether it's my 18 backward jump ropes, Vi's first rope climb or Dee's 15 yards on the power-wheel, it's all celebration for each individual's perseverance. Which just means showing up. No more "standard" gyms. No more machines or treadmills. They just don't work for me. I flourish with the 3E community. Every workout is totally different. I encourage y'all to check it out. It helped me the get more balanced in mucles and increase my performance within a short period of time. Highly skilled instructors and great people in workout groups. I love this place!!! No matter what your fitness level they will help you reach your goals. And if you have injuries they will work around them and modify the exercises for you! BEST GYM EVER. From the staff to the members I've never enjoyed working out so much. Even the drive from ventura is worth it. I love the class based energy.I push myself harder working out in a group then solo and it's nice to not have to think of a daily workout but just to show up and work your butt off for an hour. They are so awesome at modifications as well, just starting out or coming back from an injury - they know how to work you out safely. Exactly what I had been looking for! I tend to get bored with my workouts and so I stop. Joined a beautiful new gym in Westlake and yep, I was bored (and they make you sign in blood so that you can't leave!). Personal trainers there are crazy expensive (at least $100 PER workout). Ugh! Prayed there was another way to workout, have fun and mix it up without spending my kids' college funds. Then I found 3 ELEMENTS!!! read more
